So, with stat release out, us bishops have an opportunity to be even more useful. Im just curious as to what everyone is building(besides the obvious int).
ill be doing vit second, but i wondered if delay reduction with dex would be enough to consider it as an option. Any bish out there willing to discuss?

Bishops only need 1 sec skill delay for most skills so dex is not relevant if you want to cap it. Unless you want to buff fast but its wayyy easier to instant buff through gear. The obly real way to do bishop is max INT max VIT 256DEX and max AGI. Anything else should go on the special stats such as your exp.

I'm fairly certain that DEX will make Nemesis cast faster at higher amounts. It will also reduce the need for as much skill delay gear, which isn't a big perk but still a perk, for buffs. I feel like less Bishops will be maxing VIT compared to maxing DEX. At least the majority of the ones I've talked to have said that. AGI won't be all that useful in general unless you get a Magic Amp slot. It won't even be for Magic Sword builds as those will probably be the normal Bishop build and use Double Blow(a skill you get from Pets I think, it's weird) for soloing.

Ive already leveled and added dex to 300 and and noticed no difference whatsoever. Unless its going to hit holy light type of speed, dex will just waste points. Using the new years buff i can have up to 700+ cast speed and i cast the same if not -0.1 or 0.2seconds less) . Once INT is maxed there are only defensive stats to worry about. VIT being one, and if you have anything remaining, dumping it into AGI would be the next best thing for defense and vice versa if your an INT/DEX/AGI build instead of INT/DEX/VIT. The only reason why dex is added in the first place for a bishop is nemisis. before nemisis nobody added dex unless they wanted a faster mana wave or for slightly faster healing speed. dex to 400 wont break those caps

I see. Thats what i was afraid of lol, since nemesis is already fast enough at 256 dex. I had considered leaving vit at 256, then pumping agi, just for a change in gameplay...then i heard about double blow owo.
Thanks a bunch for that look at dex, after release.

Yes, its pet skill. Even pet like kijimu can lear it. Basically you use this skill and you attack 2 times like with max aspd But to fully use it you will need +9 weapon (weapon refine lvl effects this skill delay) and -3s delay. With that set you can spam this skill and you will end up attacking with fastest speed. Skill in action: P.s This is how understood this skill jp description. Not everything may be 100% true And sorry for bad english .-.

Tbh, all i know about it is that its a pet skill that when used, works as a twice attack. I imagine similar to flabellum. Ive also heard that it can be used in combination with autoskill equips and xtals. (Edit: ninja'd)

I'm fairly certain that DEX will make Nemesis cast faster at higher amounts.. From when I tested nemesis from 1 Dex to 256 Dex, it takes about 16 DEX to decrease casting time by 1 second (1 Dex = ~ 17 second Cast time for nemesis, lol) and right now, unless a bish is wearing +cast time like Viola, a max dex (256) will already be at or close to 1 sec cast time. Not sure we can go below that, and even if we could, another 16 dex will bring us to as close to 0 sec cast time, which I am not sure is game-possible. That said, I will probably level Dex after Int still, since they're the two source of MATK. Vit only if we get more mobs/bosses that will go through Def/Hp of a 256 Vit build

Pet Skill that makes you auto attack twice when you use it. Completely negates the need for ASPD on Bishop and probably Enchanter as well since it makes you attack twice per second. Here's a vid. I honestly have no idea why Bishops are using Dia Espada in the first place for auto attacks. Dielita, Pramia, and Dailan Scythe should all be better currently and when Jupiter is out that should be even better. Maybe Double Blow requires sword?

I had dual blow on my kijimu after feeding it fallen tears, the description is somewhat like:
Twice attack upon usage. Autoskills will also be activated.
Basically, when you use dual blow(db), you attack two times at maximum speed interval, if you have autoskills like ifrit, it will proc at a chance. (likewise goes for double attack)
The only bad thing about this is that, although you can cool the skill to -1sec delay, but the swing animation will always be 1.3-1.5s, meaning there will always have a slight pause after using db
P.N: all pet skills, including db, is permanent in your skills tab once your pet learnt it, so regardless whether you are in a party, pet not summoned, you CAN use it. (until pet unlearnt said skill)
P.N 2: db is based on ATK (your normal auto attacks)

What is that sword icon skill that he's using? Is that db from the pet?

Dex adds matk Stop telling people it's worthless after 256/for nemesis only. I'd rather Max dex after int than agi. ...and unless boss physical aoe starts hitting harder, I see no reason "yet" to Max vit after int.
This reasoning doesn't take into account bishops that like to tank. By all means, add ur vit boo.
Int --> dex sounds perfectly viable, if not the better option over all.
Personally: I will Max int, then use 200 stat points to raise ignite skills duration and cooldown. I'm curious if with 300 second duration and capped cooldown... just how often this can be kept up. Trolling around with quasi-permanent 10%matk buff sounds groovy.
Woof

Dex adds matk Stop telling people it's worthless after 256/for nemesis only. 1. I never said or told anyone that dex was worthless 2. Nobody said anything against adding dex FOR MAGIC ATTACK, but only for nemisis casting speed....I'd rather Max dex after int than agi. ...and unless boss physical aoe starts hitting harder, I see no reason "yet" to Max vit after int. Good for you. But that doesn't change my opinion or any of the support I put with it. This reasoning doesn't take into account bishops that like to tank. By all means, add ur vit boo. My bishop is made for support and doesn't tank either...Your point is??? And dont call me Boo Int --> dex sounds perfectly viable, if not the better option over all. Well Dex does add 1matk for every 2 stat points you use on it. I could see how an extra 77matk could really help after using 144 of your stat points and leveling DEX to 144. Viable maybe, but when AGI and VIT could give a bigger matk bonus through inexpensive and top tier gear such as Dinat, Raziel, and magic amp, Red glasses,Green glasses etc(thats all i know for now), makes it arguable to if its a "Better" optionPersonally: I will Max int, then use 200 stat points to raise ignite skills duration and cooldown. I'm curious if with 300 second duration and capped cooldown... just how often this can be kept up. Trolling around with quasi-permanent 10%matk buff sounds groovy. Woof I put my comments in bold. Why you gotta opinion bash with your own opinion?
