I have a normal, claw ninja that I use who needs less than 10%HP to be able to produce clones. When I get Warcry (LVL2) from a Paladin in a party, I am rendered unable to clone, so I stay at the back, and spam clicking Bunshin no Jutsu until the Warcry buff wears off. I might also get more in trouble if there is a Minstrel in the party who will cast Life Song, and will further increase my Max HP. I've never partied with a Gladiator before, but I learned that their Warcry is LVL4. Does it mean more VIT granted than the Paladin's Warcry, or is it just the ATK damage increase?
I don't want to hinder the party, so I don't mind anyone buffing more HP,but I also want to help out damage as much as I can. (Through DoC)
If I get Ghost Ring Ganei (-50%MaxHP) and Schwartz no up Ganei(-60%MaxHP), is -110%MaxHP enough to be able to clone whilst being fully buffed by all the HP/VIT raising buffs the game has to offer?
soorryyy im noobbb ;_;

Not Sure on WarcryIV but I recently switched from G Ring Cerberus to G Ring Ganei so I can play with my PLD and get their Warcry buff with no problem. Took forever to find out, since my Nin is usually solo lol. Someone with more knowledge of Glad's highest level WC (and Min Lifesong)will have to say how much it adds %s wise, but you'll probably want something that'll get you to -110% at least
IIRC (Nin on vacation for almost 2 months now) Ameno+Ganei -30% SchwartzUP+Ganei -50% G Ring+Cerberus - 20% -100% was NOT enough to clone when PLD had buffs on me since it added 16% (so I was at -84% net leaving me with 16% HP) Ameno+Ganei -30% SchwartzUP+Ganei -50% G Ring+Ganei - 50% -130% is no problem so far but I have yet to PT with a Full grown Glad and/or mins though.

Thank you so much! That is very helpful! Didn't know it added +16% o.o That's very high...
By the way, does upgrading Schwartz increase CRT Damage, or just it's ATK?

From normal to 1st up, it lowers -HP from 30% to 20% then to 10% on 2nd up, along with MP recovery. From irunaonline.boards.net/thread/24/equipment-stats-upgrades

Paladins get lvl 2 and Gladiators get lvl 3. I'm not exactly sure what life song but I think every Ninja hates Life Song. Tell the Minstrel not to use Life Song, if they keep doing it they are dumb and need to learn other classes, especially as a pure support class. Warcry has a super short range so you can pretty easily stay out of it, let the Paladin/Gladiator know that you can't clone with Warcry yet and they will probably not use it on you. You DO want to be able to receive Warcry as it's a nice ATK boost so getting enough -HP gear will help. I don't know what a good amount would be but I think -110% isn't low enough. I don't have a Ninja so I can only tell you what I've heard and seen from Ninjas. :/

Obviously, -120% or higher would be higher as it will give you more leeway.

And one more pro tip for Ninjas who don't want buffs like war cry or Divine Bless: If you can't clone with those buffs then get the f**k out of range! Its not so hard and make life, all of us, easier.
Situation from yesterday. I was on my bishop and have ninja tank. When i said him to stay far of us coz I will cast Divine Bless he didnt react. When situation repeat few times I just cast spell on everyone in pt. And that was the part when he start cry that I'm noob and he can't clone with Divine Bless. Its not MY or any other player buisness that some ninjas can't handle with our buffs.

So should I just not upgrade my Schwartz and slap in a Ganei in it?

So should I just not upgrade my Schwartz and slap in a Ganei in it? Same buff on both armor. And yes, for NIN, Schwartz1 is best (the MP bonus from 3 is NOT worth the loss of -20%)

I was worried about the Life song (or was that Dream song...? x.x) because I'm not sure if it's Aoe like warcry. (but i had someone cast it on me before) I should get my Ganeis ASAP -A-

I don't wanna burden the pt, I want everyone to have to cast their buffs on others conveniently ;__; (And even as a ninja, I want to get Divine Bless too cause that MP regen helps BIG time!!)

i have a lvl 23x ninja. A 3 Ganei - user and at -120% HP.
With the above setup i could take most buffs including life song, war cry, divine bless. Ninja is a great class provided you know how to play with the same. Carrying MP pots, vaccines, being prepared for parties with Bishop / Ministrel / Enchanter is a must for every ninja.
the problem in game is that most ninja choose the class without doing any research or being prepared for the same. most of the hiwiz and bishops carry a matk gear and a hp gear. i know most ninja population does not bother about alternate gears in parties and blindly complain on buffs.
Similarly, if you are a party player, then be prepared for it and use what the game has to offer. curse nails, schwartz no-up, ghostring, magical ring (for lvl less than 200) -- should set you up nicely. of course your damage will be less. but atleast you need not complain. this setup should take care of most of such situations till you get your ganeis.
did you know that you can look at crystals like matar, grecia which offer a small reduction in HP. cheap alternates for a aspiring ninja.
