hello, how you play mage(staff) with AoE please ? i tried a couple of time, some lv 20~30 ... cant kill anything. result is always... got hit /skill canceled/ no mp in solo ... any advice please ? Max out these skills Charge, magic arrow, magic wall, blast, and hp boost for extra 1k hp in survival tree lvl 2 mp boost is good too but i have gear that gives mp for grinding and i like to use magician ring just for bosses. When i see a bunch of mobs together i use magic wall then run back and cast magic wall again when they get hit 3 hits and repeat. When u get blast you just magic wall them and run back and cast blast then they all should be dead get fire staff asap i got mines killing those lvl30 stone mobs with a rod they move slow and come with a bunch together near kaiser boss. Btw its best to max magic wall and charge first because magic wall will do more dmg and last long maximum of 4-5 hits dependiing on mob speed and maxing out charge gives 2.4 or 2.7sec i believe to restore 300mp and the best part you can cast magic wall and move back alittle and use charge while being protected so unlimited skill spam pretty much distance is the KEY!.

I would also suggest heavy armor and maybe picking up the heavy armor skill when you gaurd you dont get interupted. So I usually use heavy armor and a shield. Theres also a passive skill that increases the castspeed after you use the magic arrow skill and I have in setting targeting set to far. I combo magic arrow with wall and use swift on the wall skill which does 2 things it usually guarantees the mob dies before it gets close to interupt wall and it buffs its next skill casted heres the funny thing with swift on wall in the combo wall casts before the castspeed buff happens so your left buffed still even after casting wall. So when you start the next combo the arrow gets speed increase and makes it all happen very quickly.

Well do you have any HP boost equipment? Or open slots for HP xtals. Personally I don't use survival tree for the HP boost, I think its a waste of points in my opinion. But for all magic users distance is key (well there's some exceptions to that). I use combo fire wall then explosion (sorry forgot name big blast hits multiple mobs) and that kills them in one hit. All normal mobs not gold skelly purple golem etc. That was when I played toram was lvl 72 but haven't played in a while. Hope this helps

Additional to that, maxing magic wall and blast is a must for mages. But when fighting bosses, it's quiet risky to do these things, unless you have high hp. So to play safe, you can just run around and cast magic lances (its attack is almost same as magic blast when counted). It's better to run 8 meters away from the enemy/boss (it's the magic lances and blast's distance limit) then cast lances. When recharging mp, use wall then charge fast. The maximum charges with the protection of wall would be 2 charges. Also, avoid the red patterns or lines whatsoever, and learn their attack patterns to make your own battle tactics on how to defeat them.
Btw, my main active mage skills are wall, blast and lances. All are maxed out to lvl 10.
