Its all random. For example I get Azimov in 10 kills or Garel in random kill when i was helpin with mq. In the other hand i was farmin BC and get one in more than few thousand kills. One of my friend after 30 kills drop both rares (xtal and add gear) from Dunkelis (one kill) and after few next another xtal.

I believe in JOG, and currone xtals -that being said, it's still random. I also believe your devices connection and how well it's running makes a difference. -this coincides with the tips/tricks posts here in the forum that they notice after sitting for a few minutes and chatting to friends or guild they often get the drop afterwards- -I've experienced that too where killing so much nonstop reduces drops I assume it's because your device and the server need a bit of time to recover in heavy farming situations under bad connections or slow devices (my iPhone 4s for example)

I don't use jog or any currones I just believe it's all based on luck. Sometimes I get it in 1 kill some others a few or never(at that point I just call it a day and admit defeat lol) everyone has there day so luck based that's what I believe.

ALL mmo drop rates are random. If someone said item x have 1% drop rate that doesnt mean you get 1 item in 100 kills. That mean after every kill you have 1% to get that item. Its like fortune wheel. And after kill game spinn it. If you are lucky, you wheel stop in that 1% area.
Tickets, Fortune, Guild, Books, Jar, Currone xtals, event items (i think halloween) only make base area bigger.

That's a very logical way of thinking about it. I know I read a thread awhile back where this was discussed at length by people where you explained it that way as well. So, I hope this isn't off topic too much I notice lot of things that I don't think are worthy of a thread so I'll mention it here. I'm wondering if this happens to anybody else-it only tatted occurring to me a month or so ago- -I play on my bishop on one device and my hw on another, When we are farming together or grinding the two will almost alway let's say 70% of the time get the same rare drop at the exact, and I mean EXACT, same time. It'll flash across for both simultaneously. -this weirdness Applies to any rare drop that is not from a boss basically-

Like I said its all luck based, but we dont know how they programmed luck.
RNG, Fortune Wheel or other drop theories are only theories and we never get 100% sure how it works.
And Asobimo wont tell us how it works.
