So I've looked at a lot of leveling guides, online and such. I don't think particularly there is a lot of public information on wikis/ect (needs to be updated! In general everything).
Leveling guides seem very generic, that don't really examine each jobs strength. Popular experience point quests aside, what about grinding?
Mostly my question would be level 110-120. Holy light does at best (for me) 4.3k on dark monsters. So it's not exactly some power skill or anything. But if I were to grind instead of doing quests, what would be a decent spot to grind monsters at?
A side note in my opinion: Finstern does not seem to be weak to light. Sonic boom does about equal damage, and mana wave 3 is stronger. That may change with higher levels.
I duo with a Knight (going Paly). So I could direct myself into grinding bosses, but meh.
Medusas are the best? I can survive them all day and grind that quest all day. But with 6 hours of grinding no tickets, I haven't gotten a level yet. Kill them in 3-4 hits.
Edit: For bosses we've duo'd up to Mineaga or something. But Ganei was a fluke. Every boss below Ganei wasn't hard, but was slightly time consuming.
Edit 2: ATG is significantly slower than Medusa.

Well for lvl 110-119 id have to say just tough it out at medusa till your 120. Bapho mob in second floor of morge zone(by medusa and evil sword) they do give a little more exp.
As for the lvling time.. you just need patience. This is a hardcore grind mmorpg so thats just how it is. (If you cant afford to buy tickets & books)
As for 120+ you can do naga. Naga was a popular grinding spot for everyone lvl 120+ back when it was released.
Quest is in maze of Entiz. Next to himmel boss.
Quest is from npc nxt to himmel Quest name: snake in maze kill x99 naga Exp reward is 410, 000. exp

Hah, I'm trying to get to that quest actually. My question was towards pre-120 from the levels 110-120. But thanks though

Sorry don't have time to post longer, but just wanted to point out that in case of HL, you want to look at your damage over time, and not just on a per hit basis. HL is one of the Fastest spells out there and can generate high damage over time (even if the per shot is "low"). Comparatively speaking, my L112 Cleric (not even App bish) at one time, "power leveled" my L120ish App Wiz on Nagas, since the cleric while doing Maybe 1/3 the dmg Per Spell of my HW (FireLance3), he was casting maybe 4x faster - not to mention the ability to self heal in between dmg spells. Food for thought. Good luck!

Yeah, I believe I have capped skill delay. I maybe wrong through, -1.5. It's definitely fast. I can try grinding nagas early. I haven't tried that yet.

I figured. Clerics are supposed to be hard right? Lol, well thanks again man. Well not only that. Theres others classes that are harder to lvl then others. Like snipers and Palladians. Its just a real time consuming rpg.

Another suggestion would be to invest in better gear. better gear = more matk. More matk = more damg. More damg = faster kills.

Without tickets Evil Vibes is definitely the best option solo for a Cleric until 120. After 120 its Nagas until 140+. 140-180 is hard for Bishops, probably one of the hardest classes at these levels.
ATG is faster than Evil Vibes by a lot if you can get a decent party going. That's hard to do nowadays though.

If you can put together a decent heal or tank set you could party up with a gladiator or whatever other high damage class and duo bosses. Finstern, shojo, mezza, captain beelzem, moldus and others are pretty good options. From my bishops 150-180 i duoed finstern with a sniper and it worked pretty well and i got a lot of $
