Is it possible to use daggers as main weapon at all??? Im an agi build and use knuckles but would like to use daggers since they increase doge a decent amount and I have the first and second skill books for it. Are daggers used as a skill only equipment???

Most likely it will be released later in the game, but not at the moment. There are different weapons for 1 handed weapons, such as swords, maces (I believe), etc.

Daggers are a sub weapon like a shield they give you the stated stats in the sub slot they work well with an agi build. The skills in the dagger tree well its actually throwing knives not daggers but besides the point you need the throwing knives equipped in your secondary weapon slot and then you are able to use the skills learned in the throwing skill tree such as a slow attack and poison attack.

Throwing knives build is great with mp regen by hit and knuckle passives , it serves to be a awesome boss slaying class. Knuckles can break boss for mats and throwing knives give some great ailment attacks that are similar to ranger but on a more of a survivability based build (agl=avoid) so poison dagger , combined with that evasion and you'd be stalling kaiser late build (late being 40's) I feel if you restated and went agl crit after 40 its DPs would be much better

crit isn't great it's not worth taking until agi is maxed.
Status ailments may be useful on hard bosses. Some people say that they can be used on raid bosses. But the skills are generally useless.
It's a natural progression for brawlers, but there may be a 1h sword build that uses this as well. Seems less useful though
