Hey i was thinking of making a bishop cuz it looks really fun. I've done a bit of research and i think this set would work (until i get rich enough to buy better matk xtals) Tunic re-up S (wargravel) Viola S (grail) Brave bangle S (mezza) I appreciate any opinions or recommendations Also my problem starts here. I don't know what rod i should use... I heard solve rod and resty are better HW rods and that they cost a hefty amount -__- The standard healing stuff like heal rod seems a bit weak in terms of matk I'm confused over light rod.. apparently its good for nemesis set? but don't the stats purely focus on light atk damage?? If anyone still remembers the spc weapons there was a book called Armandel. Stats are Magic pierce +6%, Cast time -10%, Cast defense +5%. I was wondering if slotted armendel would be good for bishop and also what does magic pierce and cast defense even mean? In terms of spina i would have around 40mil which i can spend towards buying xtals and a rod. ( i do not have a mezza xtal yet but i'm aiming to buy one) Another note, isnt Kerykeion severely underrated? Combined with brave bangle thats a capable tank set that still puts out good dmg Kerykeion
Stats : ATK:180-190-195, MATK +9%, MPConsumption -10%, Physical Resistance +5%, Heal Recovery +3%, Items Delay -0.5seconds (Hidden Correction: Attack Range + ?)

if you are looking to spend 40m on a rod and xtal that's more then enough.
I think resty rod is the perfect all around rod to have as a bishop. The magic up chance by defense triggers extremely often which gives you a load more matk. A lot of people dislike the +50% cast time but as for me, I cant see the difference when using a different rod tbh.
Resty rods with decent atk (180) run around 10m or so. You can prolly get a gerust for around 23m and put it in the resty.
S.rod upped is also a good all around rod. Has heal stats, matk and skill delay. A non upped s.rod slot with decent atk will run around 4-10m depending on the atk. And again gesrust around 23m to slot it with.

The reason I say resty rod as a perfect rod for bishop is that bishops have enough HP to take the hit for resty rod effect to trigger.
