Wouldn't this thread be placed in the Gladiator section from tips and tricks? Anyway I'm not a gladiator but you could place stats to your vit up to 50 then work on getting str higher, probably to 180, then focus on max crit? Just some suggestions, hopefully some Gladiators will post here

My goal is to be a sword using gladiator with the ability to be solo for most monsters (at higher levels). Currently I am lv59 and I want to go in the right direction to get there. Any advice on how to build or should I reset? My stats are: Strength: 70 Vitality: 26 Critical: 91 I want to survive as I get there. Your stats are ok, for now. Best advise is to find the Glad section of the forums.

i believe the strength of a gladiator is killing something before something kills you. so by the time you get to the required level, gladiators might already get their surviving skill. just need to quicken the delay part for the pillar blade. the way of fighting is the same as future enchanter. skin > spam skill > repeat

When I reset, I want to get the most out of the potential damage of this class. I was looking into survivability for awhile, then realized that that would lower my damage and prolong the battle and kill me in the end. I tried resetting to agl critical only to realize that berserk provides max atk speed and my damage is much lower because my critical is only 118 (lv103 currently). Not only that, but evasion doesn't really help with stronger mobs. I have decided that a reset is in order. I will max critical with the remaining going to strength. When strength is max, build dex to 115. Am I on the right track here? that should be good at least from my point of view. max CRT, then start STR, finish it with DEX. note that normal sword gain ATK by STR & DEX so you might wanna max DEX too since your survival is guaranteed with cross counter, esperanza, regenerate & the upcoming massive skin. to survive low level, top your already high hp with good equipment. that's my piece.

I should max dex after critical and strength is maxed? And this is to maximize the shill potential as well as added atk? from what i see, DEX add ATK to normal sword as well as reducing your skill cooldown so you can spam pillar blade and/or maybe sword tempest too. assume this build as pure damage dealer. you should also refer a gladiator as i'm only an enchanter.

Vit to a desirable lvl. Then crt for hit rate then str for damage. You can use crit rate gear to boost your rate while you are still at lower levels (your target is 95%). Eventually you might need dex for pillar blade spam (lvl200 skill) but just cross the bridge when you get there.

From reading the many builds, I see glads with vit relying more heavily on potions at higher levels. Then again, having no vit means that I would die easily. Couldn't I simply wear gear to maximize hp and defense instead of sacrificing damage for hp? All warriors depend on potions on solo. When I was AGI/CRT I spent alot of Revitas when I was speed leveling. The only way to reduce this is to be on a party with a healer. Yes, you can wear gear to improve max HP for survivability. But this also lowers your DPS because you are not wearing ATK/DPS gear, which is what you should be wearing all the time. If you have the right VIT (which is subjective to every player), then you would rarely need an HP gear.
