Assassin's require elemental sets (can be expensive) to deal the most damage possible and they are really hard to level up since you heavily rely on backstab which is a single target skill. HW is going through something at the moment and I wouldn't head that way unless you know what your doing and have at least enough money to get the ball rolling. I don't know anything about ninja after rebalance and bishop becomes a really good all rounder once you reach lv 180 and get nemesis which is bishops strongest damage spell that is also aoe.

Honestly I feel like the best advice is go onto YouTube, look at the classes you think is interesting, and choose the one that you think is most fun…
Just to add…
Assassin and pf ninja’s gears are pretty similar all things considered, so gear wise there’s no clear winner there. If you know a lot about staying alive (or don’t mind dying sometimes), assassin will probably be better for you because clones make combat a little wonky (they drain mp and if you get hit, your dmg goes down. Also don’t get stunned lol). If you’re still learning to stay alive, ninja will probably be easier just because clones.
Hw suffers from the same problem all wizard classes do, 1 equip set isn’t going to be enough 😂 hw and necromancer CAN get away with 1 set, but it’s going to be a challenge to set up a good one. Hw’s main aoe has a recoil, so it’s a bit harder to spam than bishop’s for instance.
Bishop is really a nice all a rounder and welcomed in pretty much any pt scenario. It got a buff so they can actually deal some damage now, but I don’t think anyones mistaking them for a true dps

Hello. May I take some of you time to talk about the alpha element of light?
Unlike other elements that do either increased, mid or lessened damage, light element does either mid or increased damage.
Even more awesome is the classes naturally associated with light magic.
First theres the paladin. Tho they do low dps they have high damage one hit skills. One that increases damage at high HP and another that increases damage at low hp. Combined with the high elemental resistances and a healing skill and multiple healing buffs, you dont have to worry about your hp. Rather, the boss should be worried because not only are you hard to kill, you have various options to do quick and high damage skills at either low or high hp. Of course, it has it's faults but it doesnt take much to cover them. And have you seen holy thrust? We're probably the only melee class with a magic skill that does super high damage. It even scales to atk and current hp instead of matk. Thats right! A magic attack that doesnt use matk. Combined with the highest defenses and hp in the game its definitely an underrated class. Ironically pairs perfectly with bishops.
Then there's the bishop. Inarguably the easy mode of iruna online. You dont die when you are killed and if you have low hp you can just heal everything to full then go back to spamming your main damage skill, nemesis. Combined with various high tiered support skills, its absolutely understandable why its such a highly valued class to have in a party. Its is also one of the most if not THE most tanky magician class. Has decent to high dps and is versatile for whatever you want to do. Truly, a high tier class.
Even without the classes, surely, you can understand why light magic is the best element right? Its damage is never underwhelming and the skills related to it are never disappointing.
And surely, you wouldnt want to be one of those icky edgelord dark users right? They go against the will of Almas, the heretics. Sure they do high damage but so can any element with the right build and equipment. At least light magic classes dont get one shotted by bosses easily because our defenses are thiccc asf and dont have overly complex damage set ups (Press F for HW and ench).
Join the light and be given salvation today
(We are not a cult)
Reject and you'll be labelled as a heretic. Surely, you dont want to be a heretic right? RIGHT?
(Seriously we are not a cult, stop thinking that)

Decide class is depent on your playstyle. Easy mode? Choose auto monk, jush hp absorb and skill rush u can survive in any condition. Paladin and bishop is needed by all pt. With their light/survive ability(+eq), they can easy lvling or selling lvling in mg. Same like sniper. Hw can do more dmg after skill update but their survive is still worst. Assassin, they can dealt high dmg but their life depent on evasion, if your eva not work u can get hit by enemy. Idk with summoner and necro. Enchanter is best auto class but ugh... u need many eq and auto xtall to max your dmg. And need lot of spina. Mins always accepted. Servant can be tank like paladin. Ninja can do magic or physical. But i prefer m.nin if u want more survival. Physical nin can do high dmg with doc+pf but battle will be hard if u cant 1hit monster.

My current favorite class right now is gladiator. The class is very pot hungry till you reach lv 260 and get bloodthirst which makes all skills 1 mp and heals hp and mp from atk by chance, the less hp you have remaining the longer the duration of the buff. Even without the best gear possible I can do solid damage and most bosses are easy since all I need is solid skin skill if a boss does a buff wipe unlike enchanter.
I would say gladiator is very underrated since in later stages it requires less outside support but still contributes a lot to the party. It's not the most versatile class but I would say it works well in pt and as solo. I would bet that gladiator would have been more popular than sniper if gladiators skills had wider aoe range like arrow rain which I believe is the widest aoe skill in game.
My gladiator is still lv 290+ as I haven't had enough time to sit and do long grinds as I write this on my lunch break. My gear is Red Tengu V s, Bellow of Order s, Monty Beret s, and Specia's Blessed Stone 2s, all my xtals are ideaus. Stats str & crt 300, dex 260, and vit 256. I can tank yardes special 2-3 times without solid skin.

Overall the most friendly classes for beginners are typically mages. usually good enough self sustain, non-reliance on pots, single gear sets are optimal so no element weapons.
-Hw physically hurts to play as a new Player. -Ench requires very high investment for it to not feel like stepping on legos. -Servant i'd barely classify as a mage.
So, Necro, Ninja, Bishop are what id recommend.
Out of them all id say Necro is probably best for a new player. very good survival mechanics(Summon skills are fair and balanced.) Strong AoE, high skill multipliers so your weak gear becomes less of an issue, very easy to gear compared to any melee class.
Bishop is a good runner up, but it frankly doesnt impress in any aspect unless you get to hyper investment levels. Totally not personal Bias speaking, nope.
If you want the true braindead class though, summoner is the one. Pain to grind though.

I vote for clasic caster mages too.
Bishop They are self sustainable since always (Unlike Magic Ninja) They are always welcomed in parties They can heal Recover enough MP by themselves High survival They have access to an AoE, Nemesis (Lv 180) Medium DPS They are "cheap" to build
Necromancer They are independent thanks to their summoned wraits They can heal MP They can be self sustainable thanks to Drain and Bone Knight They got Buffed these last updates They got multiple AoE Their main spells cost is almost inexistent Very High DPS Low to Very High Survival (Based on what you get possessed) Relatively "cheap" class *Lets be honest: Dark mages are always cool AF
Summoner Well, Summoners are no technically mages, but, C'mon, they heavily rely on their MP and literally Summoning monsters.
Their summons can either Tank, Heal, Heal MP or give some debuffs/buffs They are basically a 1 person whole party They got buffed, so they are good alone or in party High DPS High Survival (As long you got summoned beasts) Cheap to build

Don't get assasin still but u mentioned that melee are expensive voz they relie on gear so not him,....paladin nah... So idk ... God why am i so indicisive (ㆁωㆁ) Young fledgling, Paladins are an inexpensive melee class. Genius (Max HP+20%) Licht armor (Max HP+20%) Cuirass/Monty Beret (Max HP+20%) Myrica wristlet ns Just that alone can keep you lvling until you get better gear and yes, those fall under the peak gears for paladin so at best you'll need to upgrade them and replace crystas with whatever you want. You'll end up spending 150M-300M on those equips alone. Then you can go for something more practical like Genius (Sauro II) Licht armor lvl3 (iniliba) Cuirass/Monty Beret lvl3 (Wizard) Myrica Wristlet ns Specia blessed stone (Flash of day/ Flash of day) On that the hardest thing to get is the Sauro II. The flash of day you can get for free if you do flash tower everyday for 2 months total. Upgrading the rest? You can gather most of the materials yourself and for the ones you can't, they come relatively cheap. Join the side of Almas. Fight for justice.
