Hello. I'm probably the most annoying person on this forum since I've posted like the last 1000 threads here (not literally but still) So I'm not sure which crysta would give me a higher bs dmg. I know there's formulas to calculate but I find it hard to calculate because my brain is too small for that . I also know it's good to balance out crt% and atk% but i think my current values are not too bad. With my endgame gear, I'll have +52% atk and +64% crt unbuffed. I want to want sauro ii for the exp up and my atk % is lower than crt %. So would sauro ii be better than grapagos?

Remember 300+ CRT build also get ez 300+% c.dmg (x1.5 base c.dmg plus another x1.5 c.dmg from 300 CRT) This is the formula c.dmg raise by total CRT (CRT/200).
Sauro ii wins over grapagos.

So should I also swap out all the other xtals that give crt dmg % for atk % on add and arm as well? Because currently I'm planning to get cerberus for add, which gives +12% crt dmg. Would something like +13% atk from fiore hinete be better? (happy with the answer but dang there goes my money T_T haha)

If u wanna go for a better dmg, pair up elemental throw with elemental crysta on add such as celawinos. My build have 192 dex so i need -1.2 s.d from equip for 1 sec spam bs.

So uh reviving this again. I've got a question on a similar-ish topic (idk, maybe) So i understand due to the balance and all, atk is better than crt. But which is better: 8% atk or 12% crt? (ie plazuda vs cerberus xtal) I know there's a bunch of other much better crystas out there but just looking for a cheap/easily farmable one to stick onto one of my less used weapons Or if you have other suggestions for an easy xtal to get, please do suggest it Edittt cause i dont wanna create a new post: I went and farmed plazuda (somehow i got it on my 4th kill ) and it does in fact give more dmg than cerberus. Not a lot of difference in autoattack (~500) but bs dmg difference was about 5k, which is satisfactory Thanks for the help guys ^^

Atk is most likely better. Sin has a lot of Crt dmg% from buffs as is.

So i have nooo idea if i just calculated this right. I might have just written down a bunch if rubbish numbers but I'll try my go at calculating using some simplified equations.
Assuming both crt and int are at 400,
No xtal: Atk = 400*2 = 800 Crt = 400/200 + 1.5 = 3.5 Dmg = 800*3.5 = 2800
Cerberus: Atk = 800 Crt = (3.5/100)*112 = 3.92 Dmg = 800*3.92 = 3136
Plazuda: Atk = (800/100)*108 = 864 Crt = 3.5 Dmg = 864*3.5 = 3024
So cerberus would win?? Mate i have no idea what im doing so please correct me T_T

Mate i have no idea what im doing so please correct me T_T issue is you're assuming they only have Int, most builds use cap Int and Str. Which are both 2 Atk per point. Try the numbers again with the new values, should be in favor of Atk%. Also, the Crt dmg% would be added to the base Crt dmg value instead of multiplying. Should be 3.62 multiplier instead of 3.92

Mate i have no idea what im doing so please correct me T_T u do it correct but u miss some other things such as weapon, armor, add spec and als. In ur formula there is c.dmg% but there is no atk% so it seems not fair. Some equips with a mix of atk and cdmg might be better than single atk/c.dmg equip. Such as aldi (13% c.dmg, 10% atk (23%)) is better than ideaus (15% atk) on armor. Same goes with raton (14% c.dmg, 6% atk on add (20%)) is better than ideaus.

Same with ur variables. 800 atk from 400 int 2 c.dmg from 400 crt, 1.5 base c.dmg, total 3.5 c.dmg With cerb 12% c.dmg (0.12) 800 x (3.5 + 0.12) = 2896 With plazuda 8% atk (0.08) 800 x (1 + 0.08) x 3.5 = 3024

The idea is same as having one kind of high multiplier vs 4 kinds of low multiplier. For example
800 atk and 100% (1) atk 800 x (1+1) = 1600
800 atk and 25% atk, 25% c.dmg, 25% melee, 25% melee to boss 800 x (1+0.25) x (1+0.25) x (1+0.25) x (1+0.25) = 1953

Aldi might win over ideaus in some cases, but ideaus is definitely better than raton (correct me if you actually tested it and it's not).
When comparing crit dmg vs atk I usually consider that atk is 2 times better than crit dmg. So for example raton would be roughly the same as atk+13% (14/2 + 6). Ofc the calculation is not that simple but this seems to work for me.

Cant compare though cause i dont have enough str yet to use ideaus. Btw i like your simplified way of comparing crt and atk haha so I'll prolly use that as a rough guide haha
