Greetings.
I've thought about this a lot, about how Iruna handles some classes in a certain way that we all have thought in some points, things that are a bit, weird but stills being interesting and curious at the same time.
I'll start with Assassin. In any RPG when I see an Assassin, it tends to be the fast sneaky class that uses Daggers (Like our "Claw Style"), Light Swords, and even Bows. And their strong point about them is their Intelligence, Agility and skills (Dextery). But in Iruna, they are good only throwing things? And the build uses full STR, and almost no DEX? (Muscled, like Jason Momoa)
Now, Summoner. For some reason in Iruna they are... Warriors... Even if they lack in offensive physical skills, and literally, they use Magic for summoning their beasts. About using Bows instead Rods, or magical things (Like in Final Fantasy), I think that is not seen pretty much, but stills being nice.
High Wizards. How they can be the "Masters of Magic", but literally only can use decent 4 base elemental, and neutral magic?
Necromancers. I do not understand why we have throw mastery, being Mages, and having zero physical offensive skills XD Most rods can beat easily any throwing for us, the only reason I find logic about this, is that some Throwings look like Daggers, and Necromancers are represented using Daggers in their Sacrifice Rituals. Aside that, I do not know.
Monks. We are Mages, we stink using magic, and still we have some MATK boosters. Even an Assassin with Magic Autoskills would do a better job than us using magic. Specially Chakra build and Dual Wield makes me think that we were meant to be Assassins XD
Servants. Their skills make them Slaves...
Ninjas. Ninjas are Mages here... For some reason the "Original" build (Based on Skills), makes Ninjas more like an High Wizard. And they use better their main skills, with, Rod... For most of the people Ninjas are like Assassins, being fast, smart, and skillful who use Katanas, Daggers, throw shurikens everywhere, and use their intelligence for traps and etc. Or like in Final Fantasy Tactics, they use Katanas, and can use "Jutsus" (Magic), a extremely weak magic, but it is useful for their ailments.
When I started I always thought that Ninja was "supposed" to use Claw XD (Actually they can use pretty well any kind of weapon, DOC and Jutsus)
Finally, Minstrels. Somehow Minstrels here are Warriors, and their music counts as, Melee Damage...? Looks like when your Minstrels sing, the music turns into a punch and hits directly the enemy on the face.
When Asobimo made them Mages for, like half our, I found it annoying for the people who already had their build and gear. But I found it more logic.
And this is what I think XD

If you think about it, throwing weapons are daggers. Daggers are generally used for sacrifices, and Necro being centered around Sacrificing their wraiths, it makes sense to me. Also ya never know what skills Asobimo has planned next, Maybe Sk V2.0 lol...
Also it Irks me how Minstrels can sing 4 songs at the same time. Imagine how horrifying that'd sound lol..

If asobimo copies the same class style or skill style from any other game, that would make the game seriously boring.

It woulda been cool if they made more class specific weapons with stats that help only that class. Like a broom or feather duster for servant or guitar or flute for minstrel. XD

XD I've always wanted that Minstrels had Musical Instruments as main weapons. Like an Harp, Flute, or those weird guitars that Bards use.

When the game doesn't give you freedom it's super boring. I actually think that Necromancer with throwing might be good. Wait for a good throwing with high matk to come and it might actually be useful. Maybe they will revamp Dark Javelin and make it better. I would throw some Javelins using a throwing

I would throw some Javelins using a throwing but iruna doesn't give you freedom of builds sure you can use other weps but some skills/passive become unavailable and if they don't the dmg is considerably lower the only class I would say has real freedom is ninja they can literally use any build they want and have good dps minstrel comes in second but stuck to physical wep toram has alot more freedom

It's a different game, you're comparing the original onto sequel.

Well, it is true that Iruna has some freedom, in Iruna you could give a Rod to a Gladiator, use a full magic build and magic autoskills. Or a Normal Sword to an High Wizard, using full STR-DEX-CRT. But they would not be good on it as an Enchanter or another magic class talking about Magic Gladiator, or physically good as Gladiator talking about Melee HW.
And mainly, their basic class skills would be completely useless.

Like Skyrim (ESV) There is a real build freedom. And that is the reason why is one of my favorite games in my whole life.
You could make a character that is OP using magic, being OP using a 2 Handed Axe as well.
My favorite build was being an Assassin who was OP using Daggers, Bows, Illusion Magic, and some Restoration Perks.
Or my Necromancer, who used Heavy Armor, was almost immortal, and used pretty well all kind of magic in the game.
Something that would not possible in Iruna. Maybe a little bit in Toram.
