Hi guys. Been trying to research and understand but not quite there.
Unsure how to know if dragon mails autoskill (counter on Def and null DMG) is overwritten by xtal that consumes autoskill (such as veleno or Wyn)
Trying to help my friend with his chakra monk.
Thanks for any assistance

Pretty sure if you equip the xtal onto an equip that has Autoskill, it'll just consume the Autoskill on that particular equipment. So basically they cancel out, you still get the effect of the xtal, but the Autoskill is gone.
If the xtal isnt equipped to anything that has Autoskill, I think it just consumes whatever Autoskill currently there for it.

I'm not sure if i understand this correctly but the dmail autoskill is almost similar to iniliba autoskill (there is some difference but hard to describe it rip my english). When the autoskill animation plays, your hp won't decrease. And try to get the Draw buff from ench because dmail autoskill proc rate is horrible afaik.

True dmail auto is erase by auto from xtal. Im still using dmail if lazy using vacc blind. Its dmg negate proc very low n its counter by def also only bout 5k. Its ok to use another stronger auto from xtal or ini for survival.
Oh i remember sometin. I think theres a xtal that not considered as auto xtal maybe it skill xtal. Its gilgoble. If want sort of "auto" from xtal but still want auto on equip intact. If not mistaken remember its written as double atk lv 1 so only good for job that dont hv double atk skill from t job

The auto of the xtal stays, while the auto of the eq is gone

I'm not sure if i understand this correctly but the dmail autoskill is almost similar to iniliba autoskill (there is some difference but hard to describe it rip my english). When the autoskill animation plays, your hp won't decrease. And try to get the Draw buff from ench because dmail autoskill proc rate is horrible afaik. Iniliba has damage cut, while dmail is damage negate. Check below for details on damage negate update: added queing info. I'd like to add that the counters don't really negate the damage. When one counter triggers, you get healed for the amount of damage that you were supposed to take.
This means that if a counter triggers when you take 5,000 damage, you take 5,000 damage and get healed for the same amount, so it gives that feeling that you negated the damage. Now it gets fun when two or more counters trigger. When two counters trigger with the same amount of damage, you'll take 5,000 damage and get healed for 5,000 per counter, so you get healed for 10,000. If three counters trigger, you get healed for 15,000 and so on.
However, this also means that you won't get healed if you take 0 damage, such as if you have clones up or if you have Stone Skin or Solid Skin on. This effect won't show on your logs nor show a green number indicating the amount of HP you just got healed with. You'll just have to keep an eye on your HP when it happens.
The heal effect is what I love the most about the damage negation counters, as it can save a lot of potions and ease your mind knowing your toon won't die. My enchanter rocks the set and although I kill slower than DPS focused enchanters, I enjoy every counter that hits. I can leave him in the middle of a swarm of Nommars with just Draw and Magic Barrier and not die until Draw expires (or when RNG works against me; my autoskill+% is still low).
One more thing to note is that it won't protect you from hits that go beyond your current HP. Suppose you have 100 HP left and take 101 damage, even if theoretically you have 100% counter chance, you will die.
*This info is from master Tyranull (and no, Idk where how he found out about it) and not from my own research.
Edit: I'll just add two good specs to use with this set: Cursed Bangle and Actsin Guard. Actsin Guard provides autoskill and reflect up by VIT. Click here for Cursed Bangle's effects. For enemies that die easily, Actsin works great. However, as an enchanter Cursed Bangle provides me more survivability especially when faced with hard hitters or an overwhelming number of aggressive mobs because it synergizes with our ability to regenerate MP every time we get hit.

I quote this from my enchanter guide: Damage Negate Set There are unique gear that give damage negate feature and some of them give heal hp based on damage you take. On enchanter case, you can make this gear set has >80% proc rate which hard to achive via another class in Iruna. Furthermore, with enchanter Absorb skill, you can also get MP heal via defense. Sounds OP is it? However, some boss has special attack which cant be negated via this gear. Rate HP attack and over current HP damage cannot be negated via this set. SR gear will help this problem (except on special attack damage). You can mix this gear on DPS set (just put Dragon Mail on armor) for better kill time. irunaonline.boards.net/thread/28176/auto-build-dps#post-224475Thread that I thought suggested passive auto skills That don't get overwritten. Also I asked in game on group chat about xtal for dmail and person said Wyn or veleno (for chakra monk) and then I said won't they consume the auto and if so is it still worth using,he replied dragon's auto is raw so won't matter which lead me to (in trying to understand that) a search that eventually led me to the above linked thread

Double attack will cancel out other auto skill that is triggered by attack (but hey u still can keep dmails negate :3) There's an auto xtal (for magic) That doesn't completely consume a gears auto skill Enfar (this xtals auto alternates with a gears auto skill its slotted on - but won't proc together)

Regarding gilgob DBL attack does mean even if it's not on same equipment? So say additional attack from a wol on spec
Regarding enfar is that same for all that state temporarily consumes autoskill? Is as I understand it

Is as I understand it Yes when doubl atk procs, other autoskills cannot proc, even if on other eq Wow I didn't know that. Does that also apply to DBL attack that warriors have passive? I assume not... Also whereas DBL attack passive is CRT triggered I assume gilgobble is standard auto skill triggered like every thing else?

Also whereas DBL attack passive is CRT triggered I assume gilgobble is standard auto skill triggered like every thing else? Yes it is an issue for warrior branches too. Im not sure whether it is affected by crt or auto, but my guess is crt since it is based on the same skill as warriors
