I was making a new enchanter and I bought an Earth set:
EQ bell Frederico
Strugg reup Cherose
Sage reup Cherose
Javali ns
But I was wondering would a dark set of the same cost out damage it?
Gram ns
Strugg reup dajarte
Faw ns/doggy ears dajarte
Javali ns
Maybe someone has already answered this question but I've read the first few pages of this forum but couldn't find an answer

Whats your level now? Dark set only worth after you learn limit break. Dajarte proc rate is terrible, just 1%. You need at least 40% autoskill rate boost from draw skill, gear, abi, and apostolia.

I also just want to add in by saying that damage output also depends on your stats, xtals, and apostolia ai lines too. I met too many cute enchanters who use common sets like your list but end up disappointed and confused why their damage is low. Don't forget to use earth origin buff skill in earth set. In dark set, you can use ghost ring up's buff as part of your buff set for more damage.
To be honest, a better starting set for new enchanters is experimenting around with different gears. Who knows you may be the one to find new information or your own gameplay style. When I was a new enchanter, I learned a lot about this class by experimenting around by using gears that have autoskill in them.
Enchanter is a great class because their potential from gears is fun to see. Always remember to have fun!

Well, I guess magic blade tank build could use those gears with limit break lol it's your character so everything is up to you. That number comes from some JP player testing and my personal experience. Especially, when you realize that your earth set proc rate is better than your full daja set with 10% higher autoskill rate ._. |

I've used Dajarte on Ninja, Monk and Enchanter, and I would say Dajarte proc rate is like 10-15% chance by attack without any Autoskill% up.

Anyway, earth set is decent gear set. No need to make beiginner set since ench beginner set are composef by cheap gear such as etincelle, dragon mail, and bird on head ._.
