I get you and that is a good point, if you can make a stupid excuse works to get away from a crime everyone does the same thing. But, my point though it is too scary and very compromising for us who play fair (especially me who have no idea at all until a couple of days ago that this thing is happening) There is a saying in most games if you play fair and square then nothing to worry about. Which I guess doesn't apply with this ruling. Well, anyway is it only exclusive in Orichalcum? I just bought 5 Ori couple of days ago to +8 my ns weapon -.- Or it is applicable to all items? Damn this is really bothering. Ori is common item to duplicate. There are videos on YouTube about duplicating Sauro II xtals and other costly xtals too. Perhaps the items that can be stacked, hackers are duplicating those items somehow. Damn, I don't know what asobimo is thinking, blocking rooted devices is easy. This game earns alot, and will earn more when it is free of exploits.

Asobimo is actually working on the security of the game. In the latest update, the main app used to hack was blocked. This is quite an extraordinary feat, since that app has a different random package name every time you install it in order to avoid detection. I mean, I've definitely seen a lot less hacking since Wednesday. I say "less", because I think I saw a sh or two already -_-. Well, even if hacking is not stopped, at least we know they're working on it.

I agree with NightBreeze that Asobimo does work on the game's security. Here's asobimo's Asobi Coin, which makes transactions online secure between people, and helps to prevent the illegal copying of digital content. Asobi Coin is basically a cryptocurrency, to my understanding, that can be used as digital currency for digital content. Rather than just ban everything, they are working toward secure solutions to prevent RMT, hacking, and digital thievery. asobimo.io/en/?ls=1

Please get through my thick skull, what does this currency have to do with RMT/Digital Thievery? I only understood that it makes trading secure with the use of their currency and you can't just back out of a trade. I think you also cannot dupe items as your inventory would be put on what Justus refers to as a block chain. How would this prevent GPC trading, scams, etc? The other thing... They actually have an English speaking person in this video? He's also the co founder of this crypto currency? Not just that but I just realized they have an English speaking GM in Toram Online called Sarah... This company proves they have international people in their company yet the translations are bad for MQ and the updates are still delayed for us aside from JP ver...

Not just that but I just realized they have an English speaking GM in Toram Online called Sarah... This company proves they have international people in their company yet the translations are bad for MQ and the updates are still delayed for us aside from JP ver... The guy in the video on the front page described it as "a system that can give players a true sense of ownership", I am not completely sure of the company's goals with this, but I assume it is to generate more transactions as players will feel safe with the money they spend. I don't believe this prevents people from trading GPC, but it is an attempt at lessening the need for RMT sales, because this replaces the action. In the same way that a lot of people work for something in a video game, and want to sell it for profit, they call this the asobi market, in which people can exchange their items for this crypto currency that will work on other items outside of the game. I see it as similar to the "legalize marijuana" view (this is just in my mind as a comparison, please don't kill me) in which supporting this action of trading in-game items for an out-of-game currency will actually lower the amount of RMT scamming, and people now have more secure way than 3rd party GPC to do this. I suppose the idea lies in allowing players to keep the value of their in-game items they worked for, and allowing that value to extend beyond the game, into multiple types of media such as other games, music, manga, etc. as described on their white paper : asobimo.io/pdf/white_paper_en.pdf That link also mentions how reselling digital property can return a portion of the profits back to the rightful owners, such as publishers or original creators. Toward the bottom of that PDF, they mention how Asobi coins will be implemented in games such as Iruna, Toram, Avabel, and Alchemia. Anyway, please correct me if I have stated anything from their official site incorrectly, or made some wrong assumptions ^^

Banning rooted devices would eliminate it for the most part, but i doubt theyd stop trying there.people are clever when it comes to being cheats, theyd find (or create) some program that requires no rooting eventually.
They need to be more vigilant, and actually look into the reports people send them. Install an in-game recording feature and make it link into the report system to make evident simpler to gather. Could possibly issue a reward for every hacker caught via your reports, encourage people to turn them in, while scaring future hackers/rule breakers from trying it. Turn the entire playerbase against them (with the support of the people with the power to ban them) with say,a 200m spina reward, and id bet hackers/rmt traders would knock it off real quick.
Because, wouldnt you stop for 30 seconds and send a report if it could grab you an easy 200m while cleaning up the game?

Never new about asobi, but would be pretty neat to see it in action.
As for banning rooted devices, they already have a security op that prevents players from playing the game. Then again, there are always ways to bypass it.
What we really just need is a GM who's active and there who can just ban ppl. JP doesnt haven a problem because they have active GMs, that's pretty much the solution tbh.
I mean at least this isn't Korea where you get arrested if you're caught cheating on online games.

I still report them anyway, hoping something will happen. My point behind the reward is to encourage people who wouldnt report because its the right thing to do. People can be greedy af xD.
