Done~with~forums and I did meelis, so I will agree that minstrel got stronger by a lot (as it is supposed to). I would say the dmg comes from the regular song buffs that are now attacking skills, not necessarily dragonnewt. After watching Done~with~forums solo meelis, I think minstrel solo abiltiy has risen a lot, while supporting ability has only fallen slightly (like it was supposed to). But still, I would not say minstrel is overpowered. They have simply become more versatile and maleable in build and gears. In recognition that this is a Balance Patch, no singular job ought to outperform the rest by too much in many areas. I think as time passes, we will see many more melee classes that seem to be OP. We just never noticed their existence before, courtesy of the melee inferiority. For now though, minstrels definitely seem very strong as they are still a very popular class. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Can't really use Dragonnewt tbh Simply use the other songs to deal damage and then if you want a burst of damage use dragonewt to deal some quick high damage to finish the boss off, the damage comes mainly from the other songs and dragonewt is sort of the finishing move instead of the only damage source it used to be even if it isn't exactly spammable now

I can tank cordal xD joy heals me 1k per sec boosted by life and my 100k hp thats 3k per sec and 10k heals from life with 0 agi i get 800+ eva from warrior

Useing Nos (crt dmg up) Pass (atk dmg up) Home ( crt dmg up) Wisdom( next song casted hits harder)idk I do 80k-140k per sec not bad for a mini dps and support at same time mins place in meta is safe

What build would you guys recommend for minstrel?
My minstrel's build was kind of all over the place and I decided to change it to something useful. I think there's no point in putting INT and I tested putting DEX and it doesn't decrease song delay. I tested putting CRT and it increases song DMG. So right now I'm thinking of doing a AGI CRT STR build with 100 VIT.
Any suggestions?

With resist set I could support parties better, now that the range of songs is lower. And for more DMG I could use normal bow. I'll think some more, but might change to this build you recommend. Ty.

So um hi! I’ve been a mins for quite some time and ive always wanted to try a tank mins. And thanks to the free reset status event, i did! So here’s my set up:
knuckle shueld w/iniliba or wizard Boo w/iniliba Lucioscudo w/ iniliba or wizard specia stone w/kaphar & wizard
My build is basically one with full vit, agi, crit, then rest to str.
Pros= A full resist setup with 1.5k+ eva with warrior. Ive tested this build already, and my mins is pretty much untouchable owo. The test was done on sauro 350-450. I can also now manage to farm fred as a tank without a bish. This build also allows 2 other dps in party, together with a bishop or servant! (Pref servant, for their op hate control skills quq!) Now mins can both be a tank and a support class ^_^
Cons= cant fully execute the new dmg effects of each song. Mid damage only.
Apos is ofc full of resist ones. But i dont use vatendeth due to its hate-20% (which lessens my capabilitiy to actually maintain hate) . The color setup is 6 purple and 2 red for more iniliba effect projection, and a boost for hp and def.
When it comes to maintaining the hate, i have full hate abis on each equip except for spec which has rc4 on it. I also use gauchel which has hate+25% and halios with +20%, and kaphar with hate+30% . There are also consumables that help increase hate value. And im planning on making a hate set at first few seconds of boss fights in order to ensure that im fully taking the hate and be a proper tank ^_^. Any thoughts?
