I won't go into specifics unless inquired, my set at this moment has 45% pierce. I'm wondering if this is wasted or useful. Total Atk multiplier from gear is 75% and total crit damage multiplier is 44%. My ATK with self buff is around 5.7k.

I would say is a bit wasted unless you fight high defence bosses or barrier but it makes so little difference when you have such high attack. Formula for white damage Attack+weapon atk+(own lv vs enemy level)-(enemy def x 1.5) 5,700(combine with wep) Assuming you are 300 Fighting Baum warrior lv250 420def For some reason there is a 1.21 boost for white damage on my experience No pierce 5,700+50-(630)=5120 *1.21=6,195 white damage 45%pierce 5,700+50-(420*1.5*.55(100-45))=5,403*1.21=6,538 So the 45% gives you 5.54% more damage which would increase a bit with higher def enemies and become almost nothing with lower def enemies. In theory, if your self buff gives 30-35% atk anything with +11% atk or +6% crt dmg (currently) should be the same damage wise but worst vs barriers |

Melee pierece is useful against melee barrier enemies. For perfect example, lets compare irogeros vs any non melee pierce weapon for ninja at iniliba. Almost imposible for me kill iniliba as AGI CRT ninja unless I use irogeros. When I use irogeros, I can kill iniliba easily as ninja (but yea, both are mq mode :v)

i also tried irogeos(cerb) vs stardust(cerb) on iniliba using same set
result: stardust win
