I just found new info about Rate cut formula on jp blog. but I have problem because eng not my language. I can't translate jp to en properly, If someone can understand jp please help translate, thank. here link to original post ameblo.jp/androidiruna/entry-12089037410.htmlsome info [Google translate] Percentage damage = HP × (percentage attack rate × (1 - (rate reduction rate ÷ 100)) ÷ 100) × (1 - (physical or magic resistance ÷ 100) Example : I have taken the "1344" percent damage in the above. Max HP is "59689". Each tolerance is secured as follows. · Rate reduction = 95% · Physical tolerance = 25% 3eye deal 60% percentage attack rate 59689 × (60 × (1 - (95 ÷ 100)÷ 100) × (1 - (25 ÷ 100)) = 1343.0025 ※The effect of proportion reduction is almost the following. ☆ 1 Rate reduction + 4% ☆ 2 Rate reduction + 8% ☆ 3 Rate reduction + 12% ☆ 4 Rate reduction + 16% ☆ 5 Rate reduction + 20% Edit :

This is interesting XD
But I still do wonder which would be better, Melee R+10% or the 20% rate cut using a Lv5 Race Cut abi?
assuming you can only use 1 of them for your resistance set

Is it really 20% at level 5? Seems like a lot.

Is it really 20% at level 5? Seems like a lot. To be fair I've seen lots of jap researching suggesting that a rate cut lvl 5 would nullify Myricas hidden, so this makes sense to me.

Eaysley Yes it is, I've tested it also and generally you should run at least a lvl 5 and lvl 4 Rate Cut whenever you can afford it (as in you don't need any other abilities) against anything that has percentage HP damage if you are soloing or acting as the tank.

Wow. No wonder why I no longer receive shellbreak damage with just Rate5 on Myrica. I thought it was the Douin. I can ditch my Rate Cut armor and Sword now.

Actually guys, seems like this info has been in JP wiki for a long time now... (section where they talk about the differences between i-mode and android/iOS)
- Quick Cool is -0.6sec instead of -0.5sec - Quick Use is -0.6 instead of -0.5sec - Rate Cut is +4% for each level instead of +1% - Range Cut is +2% for each level instead of +1% - Spell Burst ??!! - Provoke is +3% for each level instead of +5% - Gentleness is -3% for each level instead of -5%

Spellburst is 1% per lv o.o/ For i-mode it is 1% per level, I don't understand what they mean here by "added" maybe they doubled it so it's 2% per level... maybe... Edit: I mean MP cost part is doubled so 2% per level This is what JP wiki says:

in my experience i believe is 1% sb and 1%mpc, if any with 90% sb can test lv5 sb, if 2% should always 100%sb, and 95% if 1%.

Edit: I mean MP cost part is doubled so 2% per level This is what JP wiki says: I think that means that in the imode version the sb abi just added spellburst (no mp cost+%), but in the smartphone version it also adds mp cost+% (+1% per level).
