1. How does Damage Received is computed? I want to see the exact formula, or the formula you think the most accurate. With all factors are listed, (i.e. If for physical, def, physical ressistance, rate cut, etc.)
2. Does Base Def from equipment raises Magic&Physical Ressistance?

I think it's like this: - The dmg you receive is reduced by an amount depending on your def/mdef stat.
- The def of your equips reduces dmg. Let's say you have a total of 50 def from your equips. That means 50% of dmg is negated.
- Next, here your res/mres come into play and reduce what's left of the dmg.
A formula would maybe be: Dmg received = (dmg <some kind of division> def/mdef) * (100 - def from equips)% * (100% - res/mres)%. Not sure where to put rate cut. I read it reduces hp% based attacks. Yes, but base def is applied first, then res/mres is applied on the remaining dmg. That means 50 def + 50% res/mres = 75% dmg reduced, not 95% (95% is the cap). {Exact formula}For the exact formula ask Asobimo. I wouldn't bother though; they won't tell. EDIT: I found this.

Def from equip divided the damage while def from your stat substract it. Asobimo explains this on the quiz in eternity maze for the question you need to answer in order to pass. Resistant however reduce the damage directly by percentage and 95% is cap. While there's that, rate cut cutting the percentage of critical damage mobs/boss hit.
