What is the adjustment of backstab at that announcement? it sounded like instead of stabbing from wherever you are, the skill will make your character move behind the targeted mob/boss before activating. I guess theres no more side and frontal stab after that update.

What is the adjustment of backstab at that announcement? You can still front stab if you are facing the enemy, but if you are close enough and facing the same direction as the enemy, you get teleported to the correct bs position. That's what I understood from watching this video:

Woah. Finally. 320 and 340 skills. I'm 2503829% hyped for Venom Fist's chain skills. It sure sounds like the Assassin is becoming more of a chain hitting damager than a 1-hit cannon. I'm really glad they also increased the maximum poison damage. 30k is so sad, D; If it weren't for higher poison damage, I doubt that any of those new skills would really be used. But anyway, still cooler than cool. *^*
GUYS Can we do a POISON BUILD now? There are multiple skills, linked in a combo sort of way, more than 30k damage involved, teleporting, and cute assassins dancing. I'm seriously thinking about it. Say I switched to pure poison damage. Would I be somewhat closer to a sniper, with less range then? I don't know. EEEE I'm so excited I'm weak. Could I use mpc ability on all of my gear, and then reduce my delay? I guess it might be like an advanced version of drain, just without the hp regen, and probably with more damage. I'm ranting already. Someone remove me from continued typing.
Then are we MATK after all :OO Since poison is magic... Can all of our INT finally be put to its full and best use? Would "blade of poison"/"poisonous blade" be like a mana stock? Is setsuna similar to a stun then, since it increases damage based on accumulation? I suppose everyone who is already a sin doesn't need to restat or anything, like ninjas do for SK, since the poisoning is supposed to help our main skill of backstab.
Edit: I need to stop *zips keyboard*

It's pointless to do those chain combos with weak backstab, considering "if" we will use matk xtals like dunkelis II and such. Backstab is very crucial to perfecting those combos. So, in my opinion regardless of build, generally sins will still be ATK-based. Plus, assassins damage buff like execute and hawkeye, increase the critical damage which is absolutely useless to poison attacks, and every matk thing don't need any types CRT (critical damage, rate+%, rate+, and CRT stat), unless for spellburst user. Just these buffs alongside backstab prove that sins is ATK-based. It would be interesting though if there is matk poison build for sins. Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong . Edit: im just posting this to prove sins is ATK-based, no more no less.

Hunter's poison damage was never MAtk based. It is based in your Int and Dex. If these new skills will do more damage than Assault buffed Backstab, then Int=Crt/Dex>Str build will outdamage Int=Crt/Str>Dex build. Oops sorry xD I always thought it was MATK since it was Int and Dex..... I doubt the skills will overtake the damage of backstab with assault though. I mean, the jump from 30k to 650k is quite a far reach for poison damage. O.o Especially since the backstab build is fairly cemented in its current spam-ability and damage rates. Poison ticks in seconds, and we have managed to get the delay of backstab down to a singular second, so in my imagination, I see it as every stab having an extra opportunity to do ticking damage, without having to cast venom attack separately. I guess gameplay will probably be quite a bit different... since backstab can teleport you behind the enemy now. I'm disappointed in that last feature a little bit. It just took out a good chunk of the fun in being a sin; the aiming D; I want these skills, but I'm hesitant about the huge affect in changing the gameplay.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hello guys! I now have a sin lv160 and wondering why my bs isnt being teleported at back of enemy, is this feature released on eng? Or am i missing something?
