Hi there! I'm •arki•, an Assassin currently Lvl 304 on the English Iruna Server. I just noticed that there hasn't been an updated guide for sins on this section yet in a while and new good items have come out for Assassins. Most of the information you will find here are (I think) actually available on the other threads here already but it'd be much easier to compile them here for people looking for information about the class.
I have been playing for almost two years on just one account so I'd say I have pretty good knowledge with this class. I also read A LOT on here and the Wikis available. Lastly, I've had the honor of being Flarius' disciple for the longest time (he's back o.o/ hi Flar lol) so I learned from the best!
For the newbies: If you're new to Iruna and want to: dish out hundreds of thousands of damage per second all the while evading attacks, be able to solo kill a lot of bosses with ease, be the main DPS in a party, or evade anything and everything mobs throw at you -- then the Assassin is the perfect class for you! (ignore the Ninjas qwq)
I'll have two main builds for this guide, both using Throwing Equips (not a lot of experience with Claws - only used them till Lvl 120 before changing classes) -- one would be the Flarius Build (Deathblow spam) and the other is the more famous Backstab Spam Build.

Flarius Build, Based on the stickied post from this section (Lone Wolf Solo Assassin Breakthru! by Flarius) This build, in comparison with the other, has a bigger focus on surviving via higher-than-normal HP, Eva, Magic Eva, and Absolute Eva, and dealing continuous damage thru Deathblow spam and autoattacks.
Stat Spread:
AGI - at least 120 for max ASPD and to raise Evasion cap (80% Evasion for 1 AGI, 95% for 256 AGI)
INT - still the main damage stat, always Max - also increases Magic Evasion thru Illusion and MDEF
CRI - at least 120 at the early levels, then Max - increases Double Attack proc rate, Crit Rate, and Crit Damage which you'll need since you'll be attacking a lot (Deathblow damage also scales with Crit Damage)
VIT - you'll want to put at least 50-70 VIT for DEF and HP to survive hits that pass thru your Evasion
GRB - 100 - after unlocking Apostolia (Ep3 1st MQ), you can invest in special stats - Green Lines increase your Evasion (for normal hits), Magic Evasion (for magic attacks), and Absolute Evasion (for critical hits). No other stat directly affects Abs Eva, just items and Green Lines.
Weapons:
You can choose between Special Throwing weapons which give +1 ATK per 1 INT, AGI, and VIT, or normal Throwing weapons which give +2 ATK per INT and STR, and 1 per DEX. You'll want a weapon that gives boosts to Evasion/M Eva/Abs Eva to take it to even higher amounts.
Hard Baselard: ATK: 266-276 DEF: 2 ATK +9% Absolute evasion +14% critical rate +30 during Melee through +14% Dark R +7% ASPD +20% attack, a small amount of MP recovery
Diamante: ATK: 245-255 Small Melee through up by INT, Skill delay -1 sec, Twice attack chance, Absolute & Magic evasion +15%
Notes: Melee pierce 15% of INT418
Wicktrace II (III coming soon!): ATK: 245-260 Melee through +4%, Magic evasion +13%, Additional attack chance by attack, Critical rate +30, 4 Elements (hidden correction: AVD +10%)
Garabestea II (III coming soon!): ATK: 254-269 DEF: Twice attack chance, Critical up, Absolute evasion +7%, Hate rise -25%, Small ATK up by STR
Hunter Knife (upgrade Jaeger Knife at Ep5 soon): ATK: 195-210 AGI +4 Evasion +14%, Critical rate +30
Lime Dew Up: ATK: 220-226 Critical Rate +30, Evasion +20%, Ailment Resistance +30%, ATK & MATK +3%. When defending, chance of blinding enemy.
Luke Raider (II coming soon!): ATK: 183-186 Special throwing Critical damage +6% Skill delay -1 sec Hate rise +20% Absolute evasion up by AGI
Note: some Elemental Throws also give Eva types but I didn't list them here, they're more likely to be used by BS Spam anyway. Most of these have no Elemental bonus except Wicktrace which gives +15% to Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind. Claws are also good for this build -- please help out with your suggestions!

Boogala (II coming Ep5): ATK: 270-280-285 DEF: 5 ASPD +30% -15% increase in hate critical rate +20 Critical damage +12% probability at three times attack

Lucan Tuela: ATK: 275-290 ATK & MATK-8%, Autoskills +5%, Critical up, Melee pierce +18%, Additional attack chance

Backstab Spam is the more common Assassin build. This build maximizes damage via -Skill Delay from Gears or via the Dex stat, has comparatively less survivability than the Flarius Build, but still has high Evasion and Magic Evasion from skills such as Shadow Walk, Invisible, Evasion, and Illusion. Contrary to popular belief, though, BS Sins aren't entirely party-reliant; there are still a hell of a lot of bosses you can solo easily due to Sicarius' 5-second stun. Elemental throws are recommended for maximum damage to a specific mob/element type.

Seahorse Bangle: DEF: 0-3 MaxHP +1500 Auto MP recovery -110% - for HP support
Ring of Tide: DEF: 0-3 Water R +5%, MaxHP +2000 VIT +1 for Warrior type. MaxMP +1000 INT +1 for Mage type
These are the most useful ones off the top of my head, feel free to add more.
BS Spam:
Disaster Stone: DEF: 0-3 lower the MaxHP-20% recoil damage 1% VIT ATK increase Notes: ATK increase = LV over VIT ≦ 300 - still the best spec damage-wise
Argent Ring: DEF: 0-3 INT & DEX +10, Skill delay -0.5 sec
Ring of Rush: DEF: 0-3 DEX & Accuracy & Critical rate greatly decreases. Great ATK up by Lv Notes: ATK + 300 ATK + 3% (according to the DEX- ATK- status rising value as of each weapon species) - DStone is still better, but this doesn't have an HP penalty.
Also a new Spec with the upcoming Eternity Maze update (Floor 85):
Killing Seed: DEF: 0-3 increases with higher Melee R -3% Magic R -5% CRT ATK is a little
Notes: Per ATK increased = CRT1 ATK1 (ATK upper limit 256)

Crysta
Unless you're running a Counter build, you will generally want Crysta that increases your damage, either via ATK or Crit Damage. Assassins get enough Evasion and Magic Evasion from skills and passives alone that you don't really need to get Crysta that gives more.
Crystas with autoskills aren't also highly recommended because you either a) Backstab 100% of the time, or b) have a high Double Attack chance from having high CRT that your autoskills will just be wasted.

CRI - at least 120 at the early levels, then Max - increases Double Attack proc rate, Crit Rate, and Crit Damage which you'll need since you'll be attacking a lot (Deathblow damage also scales with Crit Damage)
VIT - you'll want to put at least 50-70 VIT for DEF and HP to survive hits that pass thru your Evasion
GRB - 100 - after unlocking Apostolia (Ep3 1st MQ), you can invest in special stats - Green Lines increase your Evasion (for normal hits), Magic Evasion (for magic attacks), and Absolute Evasion (for critical hits). No other stat directly affects Abs Eva, just items and Green Lines.
Weapons:
You can choose between Special Throwing weapons which give +1 ATK per 1 INT, AGI, and VIT, or normal Throwing weapons which give +2 ATK per INT and STR, and 1 per DEX. You'll want a weapon that gives boosts to Evasion/M Eva/Abs Eva to take it to even higher amounts.

Backstab Spam is the more common Assassin build. This build maximizes damage via -Skill Delay from Gears or via the Dex stat, has comparatively less survivability than the Flarius Build, but still has high Evasion and Magic Evasion from skills such as Shadow Walk, Invisible, Evasion, and Illusion. Contrary to popular belief, though, BS Sins aren't entirely party-reliant; there are still a hell of a lot of bosses you can solo easily due to Sicarius' 5-second stun. Elemental throws are recommended for maximum damage to a specific mob/element type.

Crysta
Unless you're running a Counter build, you will generally want Crysta that increases your damage, either via ATK or Crit Damage. Assassins get enough Evasion and Magic Evasion from skills and passives alone that you don't really need to get Crysta that gives more.
Crystas with autoskills aren't also highly recommended because you either a) Backstab 100% of the time, or b) have a high Double Attack chance from having high CRT that your autoskills will just be wasted.
