(posted 6/27/2016, incase i get it right and i become famous) heyy!! I was wondering what iruna is in Japanese and I got イルーナ戦記 (found it on some イルーナ戦記 online wiki) and on google it (イルーナ戦記) translates to "iruna senki" イルーナ translated to iruna and 戦記 translates to military history but on Bing translate イルーナ戦記 translates to Record of Lodoss War Urbano when I searched "Record of Lodoss War Urbano" into google I found an anime SO MAYBE IRUNA IS BASED OFF ON AN AIME ( website about Record of losdoss war anime) the website says: Series Plot Summary
Created from the aftermath of the last great battle of the gods, Lodoss and its kingdoms have been plagued by war for thousands of years. As a quiet peace and unity finally become foreseeable over the land, an unknown evil begins to stir. An ancient witch has awakened, bent on preserving the island of Lodoss by creating political unbalance throughout the many kingdoms and keeping any one from maintaining central control. Only a mixed-race party of six young champions, led by the young warrior Parn, stand between this new threat and Lodoss' decent back into the darkness of war and destruction.
| My Thoughts on the Series
Record of the Lodoss War is a staple in the fantasy anime genre! It's a popular and well respected series. What makes it great is that it's a traditional RPG-inspired fantasy. The main characters are a mix of what you'd expect in an RPG: you have a swordsman, an elf, a wizard, a dwarf, a thief, and a priest. Throughout the series they battle against goblins, cobalts, ogres, dark elves, a dark wizard, an evil sorceress, dragons, and more. The story is basically about war. Then there are several twists that reveal the strings behind the war. It's an exciting series with fantasy fan service at every turn!

but if I am wrong I'm sure we can tell from both bing and google translate it has something to do with a war! I just restarted a character so i will probably have to read the storyline mq (sigh) and watch the anime (sigh again) ill let you know in the future of how the anime and iruna mq compare and contrast. Well thanks for reading note: MOST OF THIS INFO IS FROM ONLINE TRANSLATORS DONT GET MAD IF ITS WRONG OK I DONT KNOW JAPANESE

checked this anime, saw the qualtiy, left Lmao dude its just the age of that show. If you carry on with that frame of mind I can guarantee you will deny yourself the enjoyment of some really epic anime. Some of which I would certianly go as far as to say being the bench mark of these "good quality" anime from recent years.

I just saw this and thought some really good songs are from the 60s-90s like Cher, Madonna, paula Abdul, idk I just was thinking of that... for some reason I have been listening to 60s-90s musics. you know when music wasn't about sex and drugs.

There always been the sex n drugs lol, just that post 90s is like the age of the reboot. Was just gonna edit my post before btw, the dub for you yu seems really good. Now don't get me wrong though, generally I'll mostly always go sub over dub, but like in this case or for Spice & Wolf, if the dub is really good then I'll fly with that.

Since Iruna is writen in katakana it's more likely that its either a made up word or a word from another language.

You are almost unintelligible sometimes. On the bright side, every generation is counter culture of the last. I sort of noticed this kind of "desire to be a rebel" theme from the 90s that carried over and escalated around the 2000s. I'm sort of seeing that common school of thought degrading in the 2010s, which is pretty cool. People are starting to, well, culminate their own opinions about things.
