Introduction: Hi. @ewpeople here. Lvl 246 as of this post. 2+ years of being a Magic Ninja. Love the class and gonna love it more when I get more levels qwq. Anyway, the point of this thread: Evasion on a Magic Ninja. Take note, though, that this idea is purely theoretical and hasn't been tested yet although I plan to in the future.
Bosses I can't solo just yet: Ouvel, Sauro Lv300, Leviam (I can but 70% chance of losing), Kagan (soloed only the MQ version, haven't tried non-MQ version yet). Which means I can solo almost all bosses with INT DEX CRT build. Yeah, I solo like 99% of the time I play Iruna, so I thought of several ways to improve my soloing ability without changing my build and/or adding boost to Apostolia lines.
1. More HP - yeah sounds really good but that would mean I'd need MP and HP pots. And this would also only be useful to a handful of bosses. Adding a little VIT would be good for damage though if you plan on using Struggler. But. I. Am. Poor. So I can't. As much as I want to, I can't *sniff*
2. More MP - which means I can cast more skills and Dango (recovers 10% of your MaxMP) would be more useful. This also means that you'd be sitting longer if you don't have Dangos (costs 2.5k each in Minaula/Kakeula) to chew on and makes Spellboost harder to use. I would go for this, but I chose not to because of the next option.
3. Less MP Cost (currently using this, still trying to achieve -100%) - imagine 5k+ MP with -100% MP Cost. You'd have to cast 5000+ skills before running out of MP. You can just buy Remagic (S) from merchants or farm some CMO (Cracked Mage Ore) and take on any boss you want. You can also use Spellboost more which means more power although temporarily. But take on, for example, Biflog, you'd really wish you had an MP healer with you (then again we're talking about soloing >.>).
4. More Clones - what's the point of adding more clones if they'd disappear every time something hits you? It's time consuming and an MP hungry way of surviving. You'd be cloning more than walking on a map full of aggressive mobs @_@.
5. More MATK - well duh, improve your gears, xtals, etc etc and you'd be killing things faster. Most of us would probably go with this, but I like silly builds (yes, talking about the youtube thing) so I don't plan on reaching OP MATK yet.
6. Get evasion - Yes, good ol' evasion, but no AGI and no Green Line Boost. You'd have the survivability of a regular ninja and the (slightly lesser) power of a magic ninja. Lez discuss more on this~
At Lv246, with no AGI, Green Lines and evasion+ stuff, I have 267 evasion. Which means that every single mob/boss in Iruna can and will hit me. This means that I'm wasting time cloning than using that time to do damage. Raising my EVA will directly help with survivability and in a way, help do more total damage. Okay, enough of this, lez start raising EVA o.o/
(Since I'm a weird guy, I'll start from the bottom up)

Calculations: [skip if you want to, but I recommend you don't because I spent some effort doing this LOL]
The evasion rate calculation is as follows:
Formula:
A + B = C
Where:
A = Base Evasion Rate (BER) + Flat Evasion Rate (FER) + AGI + Lvl
B = A * Percentage Evasion Rate (PER)
C = Total Evasion Rate (TER)
*Notes:
--> BER is always 0. I really should have taken this out, but I think it's important that it's here.
--> FER is the value of Evasion that's not in percentage form
--> AGI is the value of Agility from your stats, equipment, etc. (not to be confused with AGI from Apostolia)
--> Lvl is your level (not to be confused with your Apostolia levels)
--> PER is the value of Evasion in percentage form
--> TER is the value of EVA you see in Menu>Character>Stats
BIG QUESTION: How much evasion do I get from this?
Small Answer: Enough to make most mobs/bosses miss you.
Conclusion: So with this build, at my level I could have almost 880 evasion AND the chance to blind my enemies. Sure, I would lose a lot of MATK from this, but I would greatly increase my surivability. Any thoughts? (strict criticism, good and bad thoughts, anything is welcome). Thanks for reading until the end . (Don't forget to click here if you want to see me in action o.o/)
