Hi all,
I have a short question about magic resistance. Can it be raised to 100%? Or, is it maximum at 95%?
Thank you in advance.

I assume it can be 100%, on INT based classes you can take 1 damage from magic attacks.

Umm could u please tell me how to get even 95%? Itd really help The most importance is Aegis(level2 +40%, level3 +50%) Weapon Claiomh Solais (Sword +12%) Icebrand Rime (Sword +10%?) ArmorExelis (re-up +12%) Gold Armor (+15%) AdditionalGrim Shield(+10%) Gem Shield ( up +10%) <I forgot another x-traded shield> (+10%) SpecialScholar Ring(+10%) Al xtal
▲Leviam (+10%) For monk skillClaw Mastery 3(+15%) <Gale Claw, Mail Breaker, Maniji, and Sauro Fang L2> (This 4 claws do not have -Magic Res status) Basically, the classes that can raise to +100% magic resistance solely are bishop and monk. The other classes need Bishop buff to test this.

I assume it can be 100%, on INT based classes you can take 1 damage from magic attacks. We have to test with a boss that can hit more than mdef. Otherwise, we cannot know what is the max magic resistance is really 95% or 100%.

BTW, I do not have Bishop and my budget is run out, so it is impossible for me to test this myself. T-T

I think 95% and 100% is matter because 95% won't make 1 damage if bosses do so much damage. But, 100% can do even bosses use 100k of critical magic(just example).

95% will make 1 damage after applying mdef. It is not because mdef will be calculated first before magic resistance. either way it's calculated 95% magic resistance is enough to make damage 1.

It is not because mdef will be calculated first before magic resistance. either way it's calculated 95% magic resistance is enough to make damage 1. In case you do not understand, For example, a boss that can do 10k magic damage. If you have 3k mdef with 95% magic R, you will get damage around (10k-3k)*(1-0.95)=350. It is not 1 anymore.

Basically, if you have X mdef, 95% magic R will help you reduce damage to 1 until damage X+20.

That formula is flawed because we do not know the ATK/MATK stats of bosses.
