Hello guys, it would be helpful if someone could layout different builds for a mage e.g. Support, damage etc. I currently have a mage at lvl 30, with mainly int, 7 on dex and 4 agi. With skills i have lvl 10 magic wall, magic arrows, magic mastery and level 5 javelin. Is this a good build for damage? Some advice would be good, much appreciated!

I think you pretty much got it. 1-5 points in mana charge seems to be worth it. 2nd level magic skills are available in your library- lances (big arrows- I prefer arrows) and blast (big damage, brutal cast time).
If surviving is an issue- survival tree safe rest opens hp up (100 hp per skill point) For support- I advocate the priest skill tree for gloria.
If you are having success as is, I would consider hoarding skill points until our next update (new skills)(and I've no idea when) and just continue building your int stat. Hope this was helpful

Thanks for the tip, yesterday i got magic skills to lvl 2, blast at lvl 5. I will next level up lances. I also got the mage robe and water staff yesterday is that good? Mage Robe/Straye Garb are decent options for body equipment. The best option currently is Magic Crystal Armor, but ONLY the dropped version, the crafted version isn't good. Best Additional equip is Scholar's Glasses, the crafted version is better this time. Water Staff, Minotaur Staff, and Irogeon are good to have. Irogeon is stupid easy to get. Minotaur Staff is somewhat difficult but not really. Water Staff you already know about xD. The Wind Staff is also good. The crafted and the dropped version are kinda close...it depends on how you feel haha. The dropped version has Matk-5% and CSPD+100 while the crafted has Matk-10% and CSPD+200. Pretty much take advantage of elements whenever you can. Fire and Water are the most useful elements out of the ones available currently. Irogeon is useful on like 2 enemies currently, but it's nice for Goblin farming for the bigger AOE on Mana Wall. Elemental Weakness in case you didn't know: Fire>Earth>Wind>Water>Fire and Light>Dark>Light. There are a lot of Earth and Fire bosses at the moment but also a lot of Wind bosses. No water bosses currently but I think there is a Water Rare mob(Tortuga probably). There's a light rare mob(Silver Roar) and other stuff. Magic Arrow, Mana Wall, Blast, and Magic Javelin are good skills. The skill after Magic Javelin is good too but it overrides Magic Arrow so... Don't get Magic Mastery, it only gives ATK and not even much of that lol. MP Charge is good, get it to w/e. HP increase is a must to get from survival tree for EVERYONE. I'd say mages don't need to really max it though, I don't have many issues with it left at 5. Bless+Gloria is a fanastic heal combo. Holy Punch is a melee ATK. Holy Light is about as strong as Javelin I think.

Don't get Magic Mastery, it only gives ATK and not even much of that lol. Actually it gives MATK, each level gives 1 MATK on staff and 0.5 MATK on magic device I think. Of course this doesn't mean it's worth it, but it's not completely useless.

Also I don't know what they were thinking with the masteries in this game, they all give tiny amounts lol.

Thought the same thing. Then realized everyone and some guy named kirito were running single stat builds (or so close to single stat as to not matter). If you divide your stats evenly with a 2nd or 3rd attribute, masteries make up a more signifigant percent of your damage inflicted.
But hey, if you're a one trick pony and that trick is damage, you probably have 10 skill points to spend on a 2 to 3 percent bump.

I don't really see what would benefit a Mage more than INT at this point. DEX isn't worth it yet but will be in the future most likely. VIT is unnecessary as well with the HP Increase skill. Average person will probably end up with 75-78 stat points at level cap depending on a few things. So...if you are damage oriented here is the kind of bare minimum for skills: Magic Arrow 10 points Magic Javelin 10 points Mana Wall 10 points Blast 10 points MP Charge 10 points Safe Rest 5 points HP Increase 5-10 points So you will end up using 60-65 skill points. So you do end up with enough for Magic Mastery. I feel like getting other stuff in general would be better anyways though. I'm pretty sure the Magic UP skill from Battle Mastery doesn't give much MATK either. I'm not sure how well the skill after it works either(random damage boost or something). You could also get Bless or Mini Heal to help out parties as well. I would honestly still do pure INT on a support build as well, just drop Magic Javelin and Blast for Bless and Gloria.

Magic Up was actually even a sadder contribution when I tested it on a lvl 30 throw away.
As to splitting stats- that was kinda my point. Most every mage is pure int- and I suspect those that aren't have questioned their decision by now (or being deliberately different simply to walk a less troden path). This actually plays into other classes as well in the weapon masteries seem woefully underpowered. Pure stat is simply optimal at this point in the game- so much so as the make masteries a poor investment.
