It is definitely a new skill tree, I'm assuming it's based around healing and holy skills, tell me how it works out once you get it started, it might be useful for all I know

it seems really crappy and not really worth it you know? If bless had a longer duration and could be casted on party members that would be nice. Holy fist isn't too bad though I guess if you wanted a cheap instant attack on a mage that did decent damage. Then again you could also use a Magic Device and pick up level 1 Brawler for a break skill lol.

I also chose this skill tree because I'm fond of a role that heal others. Right now, I find it really ineffective. Probably because I have yet to see what this skill tree could give.

Would like to mention that bless is a very useful skill. It costs only 100 mp and ticks 3 times, one right at start which u don't see the number for, then 2 more at least. (mines at rank 7 currently from what I notice about 65ish per tick). The important thing to note is, you cast it without worrying about target, but it buffs EVERYONE in the party. Not just yourself. So this skill is better in overall healing to mana usage really. It's like the protection shield buffs. You use them and it deploys to everyone.

Oh so it does go to everyone then? That would make it very useful then. I'm gonna pick that up on my Mage then.

Also the description for holy punch says its a physical attack so I imagine your melee attack will effect the damage more than magic attack will. I could see this being a good start to brawler monks having another fast punch in combos cant hurt one bit.

I could see this being a good start to brawler monks having another fast punch in combos cant hurt one bit. i believe it is affected by both, but counts as a Physical Attack against enemies. Meaning it's affected by MDEF. I didn't notice a big difference in damage between Staff and Magic Device when I used it so I'm assuming it's both. Basically meant for Magic Device lol. A fast punch for Brawlers might be nice though I guess. Only skill I could replace in a combo would be Earthbind though, everything else is really good.

Furthermore gloria is a must have for almost any solo or self sufficient builds as well. lvl 10 lasts like a few minutes. For example on my mage with def when i tested it: pdef 85, mdef 196. After buff: pdef 255 mdef 588. Although I'm not sure what it scales with. The bonus is massive and unlike the other shield ones, this one is both pdef and mdef included in one. Also quite a huge bonus for only 100 mp for whole party. A solo guard tank or dex build with it could literally be self sufficient.

It would help but not necessary and are points are spread thin with Evasion skills :/

The shield skill auras might be % resistance as opposed to raw increases and decreases like Gloria. Which would explain why the status increases don't show in your status window and isn't as effective right now. Just a guess right now though.

Any suggested build for the priest, still int or str or even agi for the magic device?

I'm heading down the same path. I posted this on another forum, which all I got is hate:
-quote-I'm courious on how Magic tool such as Irogeon is supposed to work too. Say, if I wanted to maximize both phycial damage (agi) and magical (int, ahem), and I also picked up Priest skill (Holy fist and the next one that partially ignore defense, blah blah blah). Question is: Now I have good (or balanced if you are cirtical) physical and magic attacks. What am I supposed to do from there?
Option A: Add DEX It would seem logical as DEX add accuracy for my phycial hits and cast speed for my magical hits. But survivability is low. Option B: Add VIT That takes care of survivability, but my physical hits will eventually miss when the game progress and my casting will be slow.
Unless the game will developing something like "Drian" for mage class, or anything that help reduce damage taken; otherwise, I'm kind of lost as to where to carry on with a magic-device mage.
As some of you may already know, it you use Irogeon as main weapon, it's not like you can carry a shield to boost defence / hp, nor can you wear daggers to take advantage of your AGI and bosst flee (or evade).
I'm a little lost here but I don't want to raise the white flag yet as I see potential in this balanced build for mage. Any suggestions? -unquote-
Would someone care to help me figure this out?
