If it's multiple of the same object, then yes the value will decrease.It just means that you will get better results using many different objects than more of the same.
The max value you can add to your Island when filling it with 128 of the same object is 15 attribute points (30 if the object gives 2 points).
The same value could be achieved using 3 sets of 7 repeated objects (total of 21 objects).


To increase the Fancy Pet Food exp you need to raise the island attribute value. Golem is Neutral, but i'm not sure about Pulis and Rowell (they might be neutral too).

Assuming you just use objects that can be obtained in game (no coin objects), here is what you need to maximize the exp gained:


14 Wooden pail

14 Ale keg

14 Potted plant

14 Potted tree

14 New year deco

14 Bronze candlestick

14 Bronze candelabrum

14 Stock pot

16 Xmas Cake B (from event)

That should give you :

91 exp to trained stat
82+ stamina and affinity
82 exp to all stats when feeding Fancy Pet Food

*Note that your island will be full of objects with this set up.
