Well whenever I do dunkelis runs his AOE attack tends to hit everyone and ends up killing everyone, so whenever this happens I'd try putting on devotion after the buff wipe and there seems to be a problem sometimes, the AOE tends to hit them still sometimes even with fortis on. I was wondering whether devotion is 100% or not because it did proc often when fortis was on but the aoe managed to hit them sometimes so I checked whether I had devotion + fortis on and it was still on and they were getting hit by the aoe still. Just wondering if anyone experienced this as well .-.

I suspect that there are certain attacks that cannot be protected by Devotion because my pet also gets killed by Zazel and the likes. There is a fire aura on my pet when Devotion is triggered and it also appears in the battlelog. I have never observed anything like that on my party which makes it harder to identify if it is working or not working. Potato suggested to try with Megas but unfortunately I am already level capped and have no plan to venture there with a party until they raise the cap.

Yeah I'll try to do another test at megas but what I am wondering is how dunkelis avoids the devotion buff and manages to attack party members when i have both fortis/devotion on. Does it have some debuff that makes the % less or what? wondering this because it sometimes happens and the party is all like "activate devotion now dude", im just like merp idk xD

I think Dunkelis just has an enormous AOE range. It's always hit everyone in the party except for a Bishop if they stand super far away. It's a big hit as well. It's better for higher HP parties in general or ones with a Res spamming Bishop.
This is with a Paladin tanking, not me on an Enchanter btw. On Enchanter I just try and keep Stoneskin on the lower HP party members so they don't die all over the place.

Might try a test with it after I do a megaroche test with a party xD

Raton's is pretty big as well but I know that the range cut does help a little from what a Bishop has said to me before. Those are the main ones I know of where the AOE is a big problem for parties. And I know more than a Bishop would in a lot of cases if it's a problem as I will end up using Stoneskin on the party. Imagine tanking Raton while using Stoneskin on a Bishop lol.
