Hello everyone. I don't know where else to make this thread so I jus made it in both pally and gladdy section. So I would like some input here as to pros and cons and which you all believe is better as more or a solo play (bosses and mobs). My pervious characters are all mage type including ninja and I want to try a warrior class. So I would much appreciate the input as to which class you think or believe is better at a more solo play as I don't get the luxury of playing long hours due to work etc..thus can't really join party much. Neway please give me some feedback to this thread would glady appreciate it

Both are good solo,
But pally can solo more than gladi. I think they can solo anything.
Gladi can outkill pally though if gladi could be able to solo a boss.
Both are balanced imo, but each has its own specialization.
Gladi- offense(kill the enemy before the enemy kills you)
Pally- defense(kill the enemy while hes busy trying to kill you) xD
Its gonna be your choice. XD

Solo:
Paladin can kill 100% of bosses solo slowly
Gladiator can kill like 98% of bosses faster than most other classes
Party: Paladin tanks exclusively
Gladiator is mostly DPS but tanks occasionally as well
If you aren't going to party often, especially when it comes to grinding exp, I would go Gladiator. However in regards to grinding EXP, Paladins get parties easy at 160+. If you can play for at least 30-60 minutes at a time then it should be fine to join a party and leave in that amount of time. Heck a lot of times I've partied with people who have only lasted 15 minutes, now that is annoyiing lol.

Ah I see, thanks for the input you all. Okay so just need your input once again..this time concerning gear can you post not to cheap not to expensive sets for both gladdy and pally ATM I have roughly about 70m in my pocket to spare. Also in storage items that are free I believe I have armour..ultumi magzona, iron armour up 20% HP, saltus up 20% hp, tunic max up clean, weapons..dis espada 20% HP, ama no habikari (I know I spelt wrong lol) rime up clean, vitra up 20% hp daz all I can remember off the top of my head but there are few more stuff in there along with add. gears and special equips also. I know there are are post on this in forum but phew..there are so many so if I can just get input on gear sets and possibly builds to go along with the sets. Thanking you all so much for your time and patience on this matter in advance

Paladin: Wound Transfer and Izumi something(the special sword from Prod) Ideasol, Barbarotita,Miwi Hat 2 blah blah blah Excelis UP/ReUP, Licht Armor, Saltus Dnewt Bangle, Knight Gauntlet NS/S
All with HP 20s. 70m is a lot more than enough for Paladin gear. Just make sure you have -.5 skill delay. They are probably the cheapest class in game to gear at the moment by a large amount. You can skip Excelis ReUP
Gladiator: Hime Swords are best but 70m won't even get you those. Just getting one would probably work too as they are advanced eles and always at least do normal damage, idk cost but it's high. Red Tengu UP is also alright until you get these Barbarotita after 200+. Before it's w/e but Vanregal would be strongest beforehand by a little bit Excelis ReUP and Ultimi are both good Dnewt Bangle. Atleta Slot with WoL
DPS are more expensive to gear in general. Xtals are probably: Weapon Cerberus, Additional Raaton or Vida, Body Dorry or Magonza, Spec is Beelzenoid unless you are using Atleta Slot then WoL. I could be wrong on some of this stuff but I'm at least close. BC xtals are alright for filler until you can get the better stuff. So Cerberus and 3x BC or 2x BC and 1 Ganei/Beelzenoid. I think Excelis ReUP is necessary for skill delay if you decide to not add any DEX and don't want to use Quick Cool Abilities
Edit: Saw you mentioned builds. For Paladin highest damage build is VIT DEX STR or VIT STR DEX. Gladiators use CRT STR VIT and maybe DEX but you can skip it if you get enough skill delay gear. You would add a little VIT as you level so you don't auto die when you attack stuff lol.

Gladiators are more expensive than a Pally but can probably play as a soloist better than a Pally, seeing as if you go the pally route you'll have to rely on pots and a bishop if possible to keep your hp up while spamming guardian.
Both classes are good though, they can both tank and damage, pally being tankier than a gladi. You'd probably do more damage with gladi too and would have more things to spam compared to a pally (only guardian, holy thrust and berserk q.q)

They both can be good for solo, they are just played differently. Glads are more offensive, Pallys are more defensive.
I find Glads to be more demanding in stats and in gears. As we reach nearer the end game, Glads has still alot of room to grow whereas Paladins become saturated (has little improvements left after Max overcapped VIT, this assuming you are Guardian build).
If you are a hardcore player, going Glad will keep your hands full but will be very rewarding (complete 2s sword of each element, overcap STR, overcap CRT, overcap VIT and still need to grow some DEX). Plenty of goals which is good if you enjoy having alot of objectives.
Per my experience with solo boss grinds, Glads will be able to kill faster but they can get messed up if the boss crits, whereas Pallys are more on slowly but surely. So Glads will kill fast, kill fast, kill fast, then, on a rare occasion, get messed up, get pet revived, then resume to kill fast, kill fast, kill fast, until the next mess up, which will depend on how fast you kill the boss (e.g. a boss crits every 100 hits. If you kill every 10 hits then every 10th kill you will be messed up. But if you kill every 2 hits then you get messed up only after 50 kills. This is why they say that DPS trend is to kill before it kills you) When you use a Pally, the damage that will mess up a Glad will appear as a big chunk of damage but are generally non lethal.
Perhaps checking out youtube vids will help you get a feel on what gameplay and help you decide on what to have. Just take into consideration that the video run is a perfect run and does not happen all the time.
