Honestly, this seems like a major failing on the staff's part. Instead of punishing the troublemakers, /everyone/ got punished, even if they weren't involved. This is such a hamhanded, unnecessary move. I came here to find discussion about iruna and instead got a view into some serious, and entirely preventable childishness.

Didnt expect to find this type of thread while being away for so long...
Probably best to go with the majority, and really that is to bring back the Guild and General Discussion sections. I agree it looks quite messy.
I also agree with Miligrito, moderators as staff job is to moderate the forums, and since you cant please everyone, staff is often being targetted as an object of hatred instead of those who are at wrong like those flaming and breaking the guidelines. Note : Handling a forum is no easy task, expecting the staff to work 24 hours around the clock? You should call Iruna support instead -w-
No, no, I dont mean expressing your opinions makes you wrong. Its good to have members speaking up for the community and it had a solid reason for it, that is to change things for the better and I also can see why they actually brought it up and better yet, why they choose to stick to forums and try to turn it into a better light.
There`s still hope for this forum, I can still see there`s some solutions that will set some stuff right for the mean time.
Meanwhile, as an old member from way back, ( this is my anonymous account ) I will let you know how this forum came to existence.
This is a event that some members didnt know of, well until now if you are reading this.
Long long time ago, there exists a forum called iruna.boards.net.
The forum was managed by a player called Leafia.
It was a great forum, filled with happy players of the same interest : Iruna Online
All was well until one day, tragedy strikes. Leafia went offline for a long time.
Months and months had passed. We waited.
More time gone by and we grew desperate, searching for her on wikidot, facebook, etc.
However, our efforts were in vain and matters took the worst ...
Without the staff, our old forums was attacked by trolls, flamers, and the worse of all : the bots and spammers.
Of course, there are still some players here who could recall what happen that time.
In response to that, we tried our best to save the old forum but it was in vain and was shut down after our report to Proboards. We both won and lost the war that fateful time.
As matters take turn for the worst and more and more players couldnt stand watching our old forums going downhill.
3 new forums were created.
Tilt`s forum - an entirely information based forum - i still think its in mantainence mode, Kam`s forum - the one we are currently in and another lesser known forum that is quite similiar to this.
Out of these 3 forums, K`s forum was chosen by the majority, mainly because she is a good leader and she always have been one. I was a staff before this so I know how hard it is to manage reports, attend to helpdesks, manage arguments, spams. Being a staff is not just a status, it has responsibility and as a staff, you must know that every job comes with a price.
Current members should appreciate the fact that we had a forum in the first place. What if at that time, no one cares about making a new forum, what if everyone were to just give up and just leave everyone else without a place to share our information, concerns and mainly a place where everyone can meet other players for fun?
The wikidot isnt well updated at some point, we can agree on that. It went passive for some time.
In the end, we should be grateful that there is a staff on this forums. A forum without a staff cannot exist or last long.
However, a job of an Admin is to at least hear out others and mainly take a good look at the staff`s behaviour. Thats the very least, the very least as an admin. That one moderator is the only person I disagree seeing on the staff.
My reason for resignation as a staff is simple - it was a time when I was busy with something in rl and had little to next time for the forums, I would rather have someone take my place and now seeing the situation, it would hv been better if I were to at least stay on as a normal member instead of deleting my account.
Theres still a chance to change things for the better. And it needs everyone, be it staffs or members to make it happen.
On a lighter note, an announcement with an official poll should be made, since some may not see this post here.

Wonder if this is possible: player gets reported, reported player cant edit his/her posts until confirmed(less blackmailing this way)
Separate forums a little. Make rokoko under new name, rkoko.boards.net and set admins there. There wont be new registrations u just log in to that forum with proboards account u got atm. And if u r logged on at some proboard forum, u just click log in u dont need to type even password. By this some forum space gets free blabla just some ideas
