So I have been thinking about power enhancer a lot ever since I got the skill 3 days ago. The conventional enchanter wouldn't really have much use for this skill, But when I used it, I noticed I was hitting 2k consistent on auto attack and I liked it. Want to do a reset sometime, and use Grail/Gilgobble, DMail/Magonza, G cape/Vida, and scissors ganei with Agi Dex Crt build. I just want to see how much more damage I can do as compared to my current state, and I am well aware I cannot solo many things. What do you guys think about power enhancer?

I read the proc rate of grail is good (around 25%) but would you really want to rely on just 1 auto? Your enchant weapon auto is also dismal without INT. BTW, I never tested Gilgo but by math, you need to have around >50% proc rate (without affecting other gears) for it to be better DPS than a good ATK xtal. If you were to build a DPS that is unable to solo, then you better have a very good DPS to be able to get a party. AGI melee builds are really not popular in a party besides ninjas (because they can avoid dying too much with clones) and monks, mostly just for barrier bosses. If you find yourself spamming stoneskin when the party expects you to provide DPS in the grind, then it becomes a problem. Enchanters are also expected to MP heal, and I reckon it would be difficult to do that when you are taking damage in the front line with low HP.

I simply wanted to test damage is all, Lol. All equips will be able to be sent to my alt in progress so I don't waste any spinas in this experiment.

The skill turns DEX into STR and CRT. Assuming max DEX you will gain 64 STR and 64 CRT. I'm not certain if it will let you break the stat cap by much if at all, so that may be an issue in its effectiveness. Assuming you can't go much pass stat cap you could have just added the points into those stats anyways instead of DEX.
Onto the viability of Grail on Enchanter... As far as I know the autoskill does about 3x damage of your regular ATK and from my experience at least activates shell break too(not important for Enchanters anyways). I've seen a Monk hitting 4k regular crits with Grail on Nommars which are fire element and have hardly any DEF. Taking away Claw passives Monks get and all that good stuff an Enchanter will do similar damage with Water origin active but at half speed. They also will hit about 12k ish with the Grail autoskill. This is with really good gear.
If you were an Autoskill build geared about as well with Dailan Scythe you would be hitting about 12k as well or higher without using Spell Boost and you also get to have Enchant Weapons damage(which was nothing with an AGI CRT DEX build). You also get to use Boost Ring/Reduce Bangle since your ATK stat doesn't matter with this setup. So you will be attacking twice as fast most of the time with twice as many Autoskills and have the option to boost your damage a lot higher with Spell Boost.

The skill itself takes half of Dex, and inputs to Crt and str. I do not believe it would be able to add 128 to both the stats, since it would potentially be creating stats points from nothing. So I believe it would be half of 128 which is 64. But Yeah you make some good points there, I will try them out.

I've been playing about with this skill for a while and I'm now pretty certain that it doesn't actually convert the dex into str (though I can't say for crit).. Basically I switched all my gear so that I had nothing giving a bonus to my atk stat and took my 'resting' atk with 3 weps then cast power enhancer and recorded the new atk stat, this is what I got:
Dia espada up+9/ oritius - 1667 ---> 1737 White luna - 662 ---> 726 Rocksword helshaft+8 - 861 ---> 925
This means the increases are:
Dia = 70 (correcting for oritius which is +9% atk, gives 64 also) Luna = 64 Helshaft = 64
This to me confirms that it doesn't convert to strength but rather your actual atk stat. I used both magic swords and normal swords with varying refinement to be sure seeing as normal swords have a larger atk increase according to the strength stat compared to magic swords.
I could still be wrong but that's what I've found and I hope it helps ^_^
Oh, and don't laugh at my swords, they're all I had laying about! XD

I'm not that surprised by the results though. I bet you would get the same ATK while using a special sword too. Special Bow does this with Hunter buffs. It gets ATK from Hawkeye(which gives DEX, and that doesn't add ATK for Special Bows unless you use Thimble) and it doesn't get it from Evasion(which adds AGI, so it would normally increase ATK for Special Bows). My guess is ALL stat raising buffs like this basically ignore if something is a Special or Magic weapon and just increase ATK as if it was the regular version. That would be the correct amount of ATK gained from the buff if that were the case(192 ATK from the 64 STR you get and -128 ATK from the DEX you lose).

Ahh yeah, I forgot about the loss of atk due to loss of dex - that makes perfect sense. It's kind of a shame though cos this just forever dooms the skill to being utterly pointless in my opinion. Cos let's be honest, 64 or even 128 atk really won't make that much difference to your damage to a boss's barrier, which is all I've seen as it's possible use.. I guess all classes have to have atleast one of those skills that no one ever uses haha!

Well I was gonna just use nails, since the stats I would use are Agi Dex Crt. I mean I only ever use nails anyway, so no need to buy new gear. The way I was looking to have my set is like this: Testament slot w/Ziddu Dragon mail slot w/magonza G cape slot w/vida Any special (besides lotus seed, preferrably boost ring s) with Ganei. Maybe use this set for one or two days, and dump it to my alt since I need to be able to solo stuff. XD

XD I've been thinking a lot bout this skill, bout the lot of gears with %autoskill that increase crt and bout the purple Al xta that increase %autoskill and crt/srt. Are we, enchanters, suppose to b just like a glady but with Int? I mean, a build 256Int/190AGI/256Srt/Rest to Dex (possible with the new Apostolia system) wielding staff. How hard would it hit? Staffs get +3 atk from str, the matk would be great too. I'd like to hear/read ur opinions.

If you are Magic Blade, it does but you won't be adding any AGI and you will probably add VIT. Power Enchancer=Completely worthless skill. People have tried to come up with a use for it and have failed pretty much every time. Converting half your DEX into STR and CRT is just dumb, especially when you could have just put your points into those stats anyways.
