here an Elemental guides by Ron-Exon. Can somebody explain this? he's an enchanter and okay, Ganei is wind element and he's buffing wind origin instead of taking advantage over Ganei by using earth origin. any logical explanation over this type of problem in case i'v missed something critical?

As far as I know, If u use same element with ur enemies, u will deal lower dmg to him but he also do lower dmg to u. Basically the idea of the enchanter is to strengthened his defense. I ve seen other enchan use this trick too.. N the result is awesome, his stoneskin bcome impenetrable

im an enchanter and actually, wind vs wind=same damage, wind vs earth also result in same damage. only wind vs ice will give 900+ damage boost to me.
question: *logically, do you fight fire mob with fire lance instead of ice spear? *now reverse the situation. wouldn't earth buff make wind enemy's attack ineffective to you & your attack become stronger?
wind vs wind = impenetrable stoneskin. you just sync your elemental. not gaining advantage.

Attributes that increase at a level to be used is changing. Lv1 (fire), Lv2 (water), Lv3 (wind), Lv4 (ground) SLv1 ~ 4 MP160 quest skill acquisition trial [!] (Lv180) (2 minutes time effect) clear Lv1 (fire) Fire Physical Attack Damage Fire defense increase, Fire magic attack power increase Lv2 (water) water element physical attack damage, water attribute defense increase, water element magic attack power increase Lv3 (wind) wind attribute physical attack damage, wind attribute defense increase, wind element magic attack power increase Lv4 (earth) ground attribute physical attack damage area attribute defense increase, earth element magic attack power increase so it seems like the new skill is offensive and defensive buffs. vs ganei i will use wind origin if im the tank in the party with no healer and survival is a must "wind attribute defense increase". vs ganei i will use earth origin if the party got tank (if he good @ keeping the hate) and healer. "ground attribute physical attack damage"+"earth element magic attack power increase" echanters are good dps too. vs hwizz class 10secs offense continuity. average wizz can do 3 earthquake averaging 60k-70k+. average enchanters can do 2swings in every 1sec averaging 1k each hit. if it triggers, 1k atk + 4k skill and in 15-20 hits, 7-8 triggered(can be improve still) all classes are strong. some class just dont deliver it in huge digits (wizz/samurai).

That's conclude this topic It depends of how u want ur enchanter to be. Offensive or defensive. If u go offensive, use the opposite element, if u go defensive, use same element with ur enemies. Overall this skill show how flexible enchanter is.. balance of attack n defense. Thats why I love enchanter
