I honestly think that at lvl 140, you are gonna get your best dps from a sword. Claw enchanters are not popular because the gear we have is not suited for claw enchanters at the moment (like flamia or claw++). Throwing enchanter is ok but sword gives more dps, with this build you prioritze dex more than any other stat. So atm sword is ur best bet.

I have a 141 enchanter and personally have found that getting agi to 135 (max for atk speed) is far better than adding dex at this point. Max int..135 agi then foing to add vit for surviveablity. I use a combo of hexe espada and sinbad as my primary weapons and also use reduce bangke for blinding fast atks..just my set up and works very well for soloing bosses up to matar.

My enchanter is 157, I did DEX first (after max INT of course) but I added a llittle too much too fast. Once you have maxed INT I would recommend adding say, 80 DEX just so you can cast fast enough and hit enough for now, then add the rest in AGI. If you find you can't land most of your hits at some point, add more DEX
At the moment I have max INT, 111 DEX and 114 AGI. I can cast fast and I rarely, if ever, miss. I level at High Ents and Neknotts.
You'll be relying on your autoskills and weapon enchantment for damage and the speed that these will activate depends on howfast you hit (and of course your autoskill ability) so the quicker you hit, the more damage you can deal.
As I have relatively low AGI, I use a Reduce Bangle which ups attack speed every so often allowing me to land more additional damage
I use Did Espada as it's damage is based on INT and it has its own auto magic attack

Most Enchanters use DPR which is probably the best armour for Enchanter at the moment. I use Dragon Mail as it goes well with my hat haha Use Ciel as this is probably the best additional for Enchanter, it also has its own magic attack chance (I think it adds auto skill attack chance too or something, I can't remember) Some Enchanters will use Reduce Bangle, some will use Lotus Seeds there's probably other ones out there. As far as xtals are concerned, you just need to use whatever it is that's causing you issues at the moment. I just use HP%20 as my HP is quite low and I'm a bit squishy. With my set, I don't die at High Ents. I can also solo Megaroche but it takes a little while

As for farming as an enchanter id say throwing if your under 160 because you die easy up front with other weapon types. death=time wasted for party and no drops if you dont get healed by the time the fight is over. throwing you attack safe from range and let your autoskills matk do the work. Throwing weapons do increase matk so overall (critical damage, normal damage, autoskill damage all factored in) you should have about the same damage long distance as a sword would have melee while staying alive. Now when you get stone skin id say sword since you wont die as easy
