im a level 163 high wizard atm and have run into a point where the bosses just one shot me. I have waited a couple days by the boss and such but have yet to find someone to pt with to beat it. Is this what the rest of the mq experience will be? Id grind to beat the boss but I dont know how long that would take. Any tips on things i can do at this level to help? Or gear i can get alone at this level?
(forgot to mention the boss is guevol)

Well thats what happens when you have 0 tanking skills. Bosses one shot you. And yeah, thats the rest of the game for high wizard unless you get a Res+% set.
But dont get me wrong, there is no class where a boss that can one shot them doesnt exist. Its just the kind of game where there is no perfect solution to everything. Everything has a strength and weakness here. And bosses are made with distinctly different individual aspects so while there'll be bosses that seem specifically made to beat the PIE out of you, you'll find most others to be easy to mid.

Being a high wizard class doesn't really help, but feasible.
If you haven't, have a pet active while you fight the boss. You can get a free pet in Iruna shop right now.
Have the pet set (in pet orders) to Relax mode. Magic attack 0%, Don't heal master, and Heal itself <90%.
This will set the pet to basically try to survive as long as it can while you fight. Even if the pet dies while you fight, it will eventually recover.
If you die, and your pet is dead, don't press the Town button. Wait for your pet to recover and it will revive you (even with those settings above). Depending on the boss, you can have a chance to run in a safe corner and heal up and prepare for the fight again.
Remember, the boss fight area lasts 15 mins, after that, the boss resets, and their health too. You need to be able to kill the boss within that time. Even if you die, respawn at town and come back, it will still be that same boss you died to, as long as that 15 minutes isn't up.
For the High Wizard class, the sequence of attack, especially on bosses usually should go :
Drain -> Thunderbolt (to paralyze and give you survivability) -> Blizzard (you don't have it yet, lvl 180 skill, but it freezes the enemy and makes them slow to move, allowing you to kite the enemy) -> Earthquake (to stun the enemy) or the elemental skill that the boss is weak to.
Besides that, as blackghost mentioned, there are resist and counter sets that will help you fight the boss. You, being a mage class, have a lot of magic attack defense, but little to none physical defense. Resist sets would negate a % of damage from the boss, allowing you to survive better.
Besides that, many people here on the forum would be glad to help out (some of us have nothing else to do) or you can create a group chat asking for the boss kill.
Best of luck in your wizard adventures and don't give up!

They say that bosses in MQ are on Easy Mode than when in pt play. idk...havent done MQ aftter getting apostolia but it ffelt like it really was like that. Even so, getting someone stronger to help you would be way easier. Im just saying so you'd know.
Oh and Guevol...yeah Guevol sucks...

They are much easier solo, and especially the end of ep4 and further, on some boss fights you get a mq buff when you are alone.
