So I’ve been trying to level up my bk and I ran into an interesting problem.
BRC bleed rate conflicts with the build kinda. I thought that when you make the enemy bleed, it would deal dmg immediately, and essentially be a way to deal around 60k (57.6k to be exact) additional dmg on an attack. But it doesn’t work like that. Instead it just has the chance to make your 20 second timer into a 5 second one and increase your dps by 3k with full bleed dmg (vs not using BRC, bleed procs every 3 seconds it seems).
So I’m looking to change it up a bit.
I was looking at Sauro Fang L5 to be the best option. It gives autoskill, hp, has fat atk and even range to boost RF dmg/for utility purposes.
I was also considering elemental weapons. The -AG series of claws also look like a strong option in particular.
I’m not sure if I’ll need the heal from the hp absorb, right now my defense isn’t the best (I don’t have alleviation, apos or stats) so I lean on it a little much. But if it’s needed dragon’s claw is also an option.
But for now I’m either trying to pull a sauro fang or collect elements. Which do you guys think is best?
Yeah it’s a big oof, I was sure that BRC would be extra OP on a bk, but looks like no.
But at the autoskill% I’m at, I don’t think that sauro fang will beat the element claws. I’ll have to test the range dmg increase with Rapid Fang when I get it to make sure, but for now I’ll collect the different elements.
I’ll update later with the a report on the build with no absorb auto as well.
So first, I tested out wolf pup, and as far as double attack goes, it fares just about as well as you’d expect. I tested it against my Sector LU and there wasn’t a discernible difference. It’s got me thinking though, possibly could make a super tank set using this add for tanking harder bosses. It essentially checks every box to fit the bill. I’ll come back to it later.
As far as claws go, I picked up a sauro fang L4 and tested it against a blank EDG. For now it seems that the sauro fang L4 does more dmg, but as I level, I’m sure that EDG will take the spot eventually, but for now I think I’ll stick with sauro fang. I’m super interested to see the effect range has on the build, and at this point, it will likely be the deciding factor of which way I go.
I’ve been working on this build and it’s turning out pretty much exactly how I envisioned, maybe actually better.

I upped my budget (aka cheated 😝) to get a sector plaster 2s (I still have a couple days to go for the slotted tower spec)

I changed my Al a bit because I needed more delay even with Uni Sam. Now I have:

I think I’ve decided to just use sauro fang, #1 to save money and #2 I mean look at my mp...
I also decided to change up my final stat build. I’m going to leave str where it’s at and max out vit as high as I can. I want this to be super tanky, and the str won’t make a huge impact I think, it’s already at 256.
Not to toot my own horn, but I’m getting very close to op. I’ll upload a video of what the build can do soon.
I’m also working on the crossfang sq right now, I’ll try Luna when I finish.
