Hello fellow sins! Just curious, how badly was the magic evasion nerfed? Is the difference noticeable now? Another (side) question, does anyone know how much magic evasion does illusion add?

Another (side) question, does anyone know how much magic evasion does illusion add? 0% Magic Evasion from skill/passive o.o. really? I thought the illusion skill says "chance of evading magic attacks from foes"? Wouldn't that mean there is a fixed amount of magic evasion given after learning this passive skill?

It is very noticeable, luckily there’s several good magic eva options to mitigate the problem.
P.S. I don’t know the rate of evasion, but the goblins before Plazuda always use magic attacks. You could go there and test the rate for yourself without much hassle.

From iruna jp wiki they say assassin passive which raise magic eva by int/agi had been abolished. Idk if they remove the magic eva totally by int/agi but it seems like true.
Magic, absolute eva still have a limit cap where u can raise it till 95%.

Especially since I've looked forward to this skill since 2014 (which i then quit and recently started again and only was able to finally! get an assassin... After the nerf) Thanks for the tip about the goblins! I'll try and test it out there. (btw don't they look like baby yodas )

Haha yeah they really do look like baby yodas I went to do a quick test myself just to see what the rate was looking like on my gear. I currently have +43% magic eva and was able to evade magic attacks 94/100 times I suspect that I’ve hit the cap or am right against it at 93% magic eva, but I’ll do another test with minimum magic eva boost (I have quite a bit on Apostolia, someone with a clean character will be able to test it better)

Thats giving me hope to be able dodge (hopefully) all attacks ^^. You mentioned about apostolia. Currently i have full green lines so youre testing would probably still be really relevant to me. Thanks!

I wondered if I should find an acrobatic ring with 1 or 2 slots for my survival kit. since it has 30% eva.m and eva.ab. it's unusually tall like a special one. when one can equip an increase of damage on another item.

Yes acrobat ring seems really good! In fact i have a ns one right now but imo i think something else like assassin ring could be better. After comparing it to assassin ring which gives 20% less evasion, i find that the increase in dmg still makes up for it since I'm killing the mobs faster so they have less chances of hitting me. Also, the -resist hurts pretty bad ;( Even with nearly full magic and absolute evasion gear, i still get hit by nearly every single boss for some reason -_- When using assassin ring, less mobs can one-hit me though, unlike acrobat ring. Thats all just my opinion though so you might feel differently about it (also a slotted acrobat ring as expensive af dude. I saw it for 20G and it's pretty hard to find a seller)

I use Acrobat on my Alchemist, I personally wouldn't recommend it if there's other options available. If you have a second apos page, I'd say use that for magic Evasion. -40% Resist is oof. Shelk, Spikeleon, Bernhardt, Cerbera, etc. Green lines also help a bit.
