Hello, I made this thread because I noticed with dismay that there is none like this on this forum. I think it's important to have this kind of thread on the forum, so that new and future Enchanters already know what weapon it's best to take over another. At the current time, the magic weapon that we choose is mostly judged by some experienced Enchanters in this forum (I must say congratulations to ManaKhe mainly), that's a good thing but nowadays with all these updates, we need a larger view. This Thread is open to all (positiv) debate. I must also add that despite my rank of Enchanter level +170 I'm also looking for some informations that I hope will follow in this Thread. /!\ WARNING /!\ Please vote for a Dps weapon and a Tank weapon, not 2 times for Dps/Tank weapon section. Thanks Also sorry If I didn't put all Magic Weapons that are out, I preferred to go to the essentials. To finish, I don't know if the Magic Claws exist or not (yet)? Someone could let me know please. I didn't add It in the poll because of this.

Voted Dia Espada for DPS and Sinbad III for tank. I feel Espada works the best for the current gear that is out and Sinbad III will be really good for tanking compared to Sinbad II I think since it will get a Thunderbolt Autoskill. Flabellum is also a good tank weapon from my experience.
Sword Amulet is a major Enchanter weapon that wasn't included. It will probably get better than it is now with future gear too. More so than Dia Espada but I think they will put out similar damage output regardless.
There is no Magic Claw type of weapon. However there is a Claw in the future that will be good for Enchanter called Puramia(google translated).

I still doubt enchanter's ability to efficiently tank. Anyway of the poll options for dps it's tied between dia 1 and fabellum 2 (upgrade). In theory sinbad 3 is better tanking option.
Enchanter tend to favor different weapons at different inervals of the game. Wheras crit is amazing for app enchanter, full enchanter favor int/dex. Post 200, enchanter going to favor higher vit builds. post 240, maybe a decline of higher vit builds. Post 280, we're probably back to pure dps builds.
So, the weapon choices change as well. From claw/knives giving most dmg as app enchanter, to dia giving most dmg as full enchanter. Then there is option for claws, then knives. Post 200 skill quest, we'll favor magic wands/stffs. Post 280 quest, we're probably doing knives/magic wands.
------
I doubt tank enchanter's ability to dps with the skills we currently have. Even later, sinbd isn't going to generate enough dmg to take down some bosses before the timer outs. Maybe post 240/280 things will favor this playstyle enough to change my opinion, maybe not.

I've restated too many times and have used a whole arsenal of different gears. My builds were: Mixed/Balanced build Dex build Agi build Vit build Each one helped in the area that that I felt like there was a wall in my grinding. But a lvl 230 I'm loving VIT, but I think it would be useless in the earlier lvls...

Yeah I feel like at earlier levels there simply aren't enough stat points to put them into VIT. Also you wanna prioritize DPS early on so you can actually level up at a decent speed. Especially since Enchanters are not the fastest levelers in the world...

Hmm I truely sorry about Sword Amulet, I didn't know this weapon, in fact, I've never heard of this weapon. Is it really that good? From what you said it might even become essential later Thanks for the Claw information btw.

Yes you are right. The weapon used by an Enchanter must be in line with his Build and gear. However, it seems that Dia stands out as the most common and basic weapons for Dps. I also confirm that Sinbad III will be excellent for the tank, however it is less essential than the Dia by comparing the Dps section (to say the true, Dia is also in the process of the fight in the tank section too ah ha).

Sword Amulet is a staff that is good for Enchanter. It's good for builds with Magic Amp. Probably good otherwise too. I don't know how it compares to Dia Espada currently in terms of DPS though. If I ever get the resources to test it I will and post the results but it's rather expensive to compare. Not crazy expensive but I ain't got dat spina and I doubt the difference will be big.
Sinbad III will be superior over Dia Espada for tanking. It makes logical sense that it would be that way. Same way that Dia Espada will be better offensively than Sinbad III.

yea you missed one getting-popular weapon the sword amulet. you can actually swap for raziel code if you are confident with your autoskill. amulet has one of the highest autoskill trigger rate available in game at the moment. we pair this weapon with ciel. not pure matk as this weapon setup alone usually grant 2k+ matk.
also this weapon requires you to build matk up to around lv255 so this is not the quickest way to perfection.
