i apologise if i come off as picky ≥﹏≤
i've always liked magic-base classes, especially the dark element. so when i found out necromancer came out while i had already stopped playing, i thought i'd like to try it as soon as i was back. but after testing out app necro recently, i realised i'm really not a fan of summoning creatures and having them fight for me. i'm aware necros have a bunch of skills related to wraiths so that's a big turnoff for me, but i read somewhere (can't remember which post now) that necros apparently stop relying too much on the wraiths since the new skills above lvl 200 are related to the player themselves. does this mean the gameplay will change very much and i don't have to see my paper-looking-skelly and other wraiths fighting? i know what the other skills are, i just don't know necros' general playing style.
why hw, is because i like how it's a high-damage class with few (self) buffs. especially bandersnatch combo seems very appealing. however, i've never been a fan of elemental magic. for other games i played, when elemental magic was the only magical option, i'd usually stop after awhile since i'm just not interested in the skills :/ but the high-damage nature of hw and existence of neutral element skills makes me wonder if the more advanced hw isn't too bad for my tastes. furthermore, i'm pretty certain my playing style fits hw better, with the spamming magic, and even my stats is inspired by hw builds. I also really miss hw being one of the og op classes years back, though it isn't as popular anymore these days after the balance updates and all.
so after reading my potentially useless word dump, which class should i go for? :3
