Just hear me out for a sec.
I'm a lvl 260 Paladin named "Blackgost" (I wanted to be "black ghost" but there weren't enough letters) and I've recently discovered a build that works especially for paladins with Apostilia but can also work for other classes with slight defects.
OK so first is the Apostilia needed which is:
<Flame of calling> ▲Flame of Calling [AlCrystas] Melee+15% to Earth, Fire magic +15% Heal 5% of HP and activate Ignite when defeated
<Ibrie> ▲Ibrie [AlCrystas] Recovers 100% of MP by Ignition.
<Wilness> ▲Wilnes [AlCrystas] Recovers 100% of HP by Ignition
I think you know where this is going. Important points:
-Can alternate between <Wilness> and <Ibrie> but <Flame of Calling> is compulsory
-best used for classes who tank and don't have much means to revive during boss fight
-can't be turned off so if a street mob kills you it turns on
-of course you'd be sacrificing 2-3 Apostilia slots
-doesn't have to be <Flame of calling> it just has to be one of the Apostilias from the Tower of Calling (I think that's the name)
The essence of this build is that when you die you immediately come back immensely stronger, just like plot armor. Any class can use it too as long as you already have Apostilia.
Disclaimer: This only works with the mentioned Apostilias, regular revival will not work it has to be via these Apostilias, however, simply activating Apostilia normally activates it the effect.

The main problem is that'd it'll activate every 1h 30mins Well you can always increase the ignition rate. That's what I did and it activates every 30mins. Mine is at 83.

you wont die in the first place if you have plot armor. this is just something like "power of friendship" type of sht. id rather use resist als, but whatever floats your boat :\.

With 100 igr it'll take 40mins for you to have 30secs on ignition pretty inefficient to wait 40mins to revive again. also hes a pally, he will most likely have a mins/bish/serv in pt. also a pally that dies? never heard of that XD

Like never. I usually just blitz through the boss by taking +200-5k damage but when a boss with rate cut, burn, shell break or all of the above comes in the only thing a lone paladin like me can do is change my equip to do higher damage over tanking which is where this comes in. It also helps when doing certain event or raid bosses that do 1 hit AOEs (they exist believe it or not), and using this build let's me always be the last one standing so I can revive my comrades. Even though it takes a long time to reload you have no idea how many times its saved me from getting a time up because the boss can kill me faster than I can it (I keep reviving but even that takes a while and that lag space takes a lot of time) or even just fighting against guys that have rate cut abilities that take 10% of your HP per second when within a certain area (I think that's jahoel but there are a lot of field effects that do similar). You see, I don't have any friends or acquaintances that are ever online when I am so a even tho I'm a magic paladin I have to be versatile like that.

You see, I might call it plot armor but that's because of how it would look from a certain perspective. In truth this a strategy that took me a long while of researching. I've checked the uses and its best for tanking even without the stats cause you'll last twice as long. In mq going in between maps usually takes up the recovery time (if not I farm nearby mobs to buy time, sometimes I get good items too). Of course it's not good for solo farming so if that's your main thing I wouldn't advise it, like I said "of course it takes up 2-3 slots" you'd be better off with other things.

Update: So yeah, this build was far more OP than I expected. Rather than "Plot armor build" I should've call it "The Sike build" cause after further use of this absurd build most literally every boss just takes a huge ass L. You see, I soon realized after I learnt knight's will skill that a paladin's main way of winning is outlasting the enemy and with this ability I basically just walk around shitting on the enemy after they think they killed me. This build even gives me immunity to rare 1 hit moves. Like dead ass: I won't die even if you kill me. It conserves the much needed time that paladins need in a battle, it keeps all the buffs from after being revived and when combined with stuff like the forbidden fruit and otherworld tunic I end up being near invincible, its absurd. I'm gonna make a whole ass new thread about all this.

Recover HP +10% I forgot to respond to this. It actually doesn't really matter how much HP it gives you on revival, its the revive on ignition aspect that helps. I chose flame of calling because of the extra damage bonus. Tho it'd be more beneficial for tank enchanters largely than a magic paladin like me.
