Hello mortals. This thread is made to share my thoughts about the comparison between ceduro ii and blast claw. Most ppl will say ceduro ii will do better dmg in auto build than blast claw.
Lets calculate both weapon atk added with maxed super refine and +9 (×1.83 weapon atk multiplier.)
Ceduro ii - 277 atk from google (277+30)×1.83= 561.81
Blast claw - 263 atk from google (263+30)×1.83= 536.19
Ceduro ii wins by 25+ ish more atk than blast claw.
But...
Blast claw give melee (ignore def and barrier) by lvl, crt and dex.
Lets make char lv 300...
For ceduro ii = get extra 225 atk For blast claw = get 300 melee by lvl, there could be additional melee by crt too.

For another observation with lv 300, max stat 256 (no apos) and 35% atk.
Ceduro max sr +9 = 561.81 225 extra atk by ceduro ii's passive (lv300 x 0.75) (561.81+225)×135%= 1062 ish dmg in auto atking
Blast claw max sr +9 = 536.19 556 melee by blast claw's passive (lv300 + 256 crt) 536.19×1.35= 723 + 556 melee = 1279 ish dmg in auto atking
Any other thought?

I still don't understand the mechanic behind fixed Melee Power. Most ppl agree that Melee Power doesn't get multiplied by ATK% but with Melee to Element+%? With Melee+% relic? With Melee to Boss+%? Why Aso keeps introducing equips with Melee stat.

I still don't understand the mechanic behind fixed Melee Power. Most ppl agree that Melee Power doesn't get multiplied by ATK% but with Melee to Element+%? With Melee+% relic? With Melee to Boss+%? Why Aso keeps introducing equips with Melee stat. Yea melee is a fixed amount of dmg added at final damage calculation. Cant be multiplied but it ignore def and barrier while atk itself can be reduced by def and barrier. There is 4 kind of melee Melee Melee to element Melee to boss Fixed melee This is how dmg calculation chart from my opinion Atk on stat window (pierce% will give hidden atk boost) >x melee ( if available ) >x melee to element ( if available) > x melee to boss (if available) > + fixed melee (fixed melee will added after multiplication of critical damage.)

I found this from jp wiki Combination (passive) Technology that keeps hitting the attack repeatedly. Combos will accumulate when attacking. SLv1 Quest [Final Strike] (Lv 340 ) Clear (Normal Attack (including Physical Power) x (1 + Combo / 100) Up to 2x) It says 'including physical power'. After calculation on melee, melee to element and melee to boss, combo multiplier is put after that before critical dmg multiplication. I dont wanna expect too much. Im sure fixed melee is not involved in combo multiplication.

Im using toy glove for stable dmg, coconut cake gives 600 fixed melee and combo gauge at 100 (×2 auto atk dmg). The 27544 s.break dmg might be affected by toy glove random buffs. 28488-27288= 1200 atk rise by melee In rush, atk interval is speed up by 1.5 (×2 hits in 1 second) So it mean 2.4k atk rise in a second.

I have the impression that Ceduro will win. Blast claw seems kinda meh, no real use since shell break takes care of breaking barriers. You can test it, there are many Veleno farmers I think so it should be pretty cheap.

If its about monk
I think ceduro will win
Shellbreak dmg multiplier is really huge (that even just a pure veleno build with 4k atk is capable of hitting 100k+ shellbreaks) Any raw atk will be multiplied greatly by sb while melee is just melee(fix dmg) except melee to element(which multiplies the output dmg)
Barrier is nothing to monk as well so the melee stuff ignoring barrier wont be of much help as much as atk does

If its about dmg from skill, yea ceduro ii will win over blast claw cuz fixed dmg cant be multiplied with skill dmg multiplication other than combo. If in normal auto atking, blast claw probably win over ceduro ii. Plus blast claw have less magic resist minus, extra evasion, and more autoskill if agi over 434 compared to ceduro which i think a part of stability factor for dps class.
Been using blast claw for a year, when i got agi as lucky stat in fortune and buffed by sin agi buff, idk if its only me but i feel like thers increasing in autoskill proc when atking. I also tested burnos crysta (agi x 0.25 = matk). Additional agi from buff and equips dont give any change.

How can this be? I have 6k atk and I only does 50k shell break Shellbreak dmg depends on enemy DEF. The higher the enemy DEF, the higher the shell break dmg. Maybe you tested on an enemy with low DEF. If the enemy DEF is low, shell break dmg is almost the same as normal atk dmg.

How can this be? I have 6k atk and I only does 50k shell break also melee pierce% reducing target def which lessen s.break dmg (probably yellow line + vatendeth, both pretty common in most of auto monk build) cuz s.break dmg multiplier is boosted by target def. Or mybe 4k atk monk with 100k s.break is affected by combo?

Well I did have 4k atk. On 3i on around 50% combo I can deal 100k autoskill dmg.
It's all about abusing elementals.
