Not in the 225-230 production update, but in the 230-235 production update, we will get 6 Crystas which can be created at the highest level of each production. These crystas are made by using the Private series of gear as material, which are gear that release in the same prod update. These Private gears mostly use the various collectible items made in 210+ prod as materials, along with Gold Nuggets and an ◇Empty Crysta.
◇Smith's Soul - Rare Drop +2% [Weapons] Movement Speed +3%
◇Tailor's Soul - Rare Drop +2% [Armor] Movement Speed +3%
◇Chasing's Soul - Rare Drop +2% [Additional] Movement Speed +3%
◇Alchemist's Soul - Rare Drop +2% [Special] Movement Speed +3%
These 4 are scuffed Curonnes with a small Movement Speed bonus, but it doesn't match the +5% Movement Speed of ◇UFO Luna.
The purpose of this thread are these 2:
◇Carpenter's Soul - [Weapons] Production loss rate -3% [Armor] Production EXP Rate +5%
◇Cooker's Soul - [Weapons] Production EXP Rate +5% [Armor] Production loss rate -3%
These Crystas open up a lot of new possibilities for training and refining/maxing.
Just keep in mind that you can't get both effects of this Crysta simultaneously. You have to pick which benefit you want.
Weapon◇Cooker's Soul◇Cooker's Soul
Body◇Carpenter's Soul◇Carpenter's Soul
= EXP Rate +20% (use this for levelling up)
Weapon◇Carpenter's Soul◇Carpenter's Soul
Body◇Cooker's Soul◇Cooker's Soul
= loss rate -12% (use this for maxing)
Also;
These Crystas are xtrade.
But if you attach them to gear, you can trade the gear to other players. I'll be selling the Carpentry and Cooker's Crysta when they release, although I will not have an unlimited supply of 2s trash, so you should probably buy your own. Apart from that, you can start farming some of the 2s success rate gear that you can attach these crystas to. All the gears will be listed in the sections below.
Training prod levels
You will always want to prioritise using your failset gears, while also having as many equipped EXP Rate ◇Soul crystas as possible. There are no failset bodies, so a 2s body with 2 ◇Carpenter's Soul will always be usable. There are a few failset weapons, and most are difficult to obtain 2s, so you should try to obtain them 1s and put 1 ◇Cooker's Soul on them.
When refining gear for xp, it's possible that the -12% loss rate will be better than +20% EXP Rate. Without being able to test it, it's hard to tell.
Failsets
There are no failset bodies, so you should always use trash Armor x2 ◇Carpenter's Soul at all times.
For Failset weapons that only have Melee to Element-20%; if you can't obtain them 2s, it may better to use a trash 2s weapon with 2 ◇Soul Crystas instead. These Weapons will be highlighted in Red.
Smithing
Weapon: Flame Bow x2 ◇Cooker's Soul. Easiest to farm 2s.
Spec: Flaring Sun ns.
Consumable: Storm Breath. Don't worry about this one. It gives Melee to Fire&Earth-15% for 5mins.
Tailoring
Weapon: Sinbad I or II. Notoriously hard to obtain. Just try to get a 1s, but it will cost you a few hundred million spina.
Spec: Immovable Stone ns.
Carpentry
Weapon: If you can't get an Earth Geiser 2s, just use any 1s Earth Weapon. Bercrete, Shisui the Angel Sword, Titan's Bow, etc.
Spec: Forest Spirit ns
Consumable: Storm Breath
Chasing
Weapon: Stavros 2s or 1s. Whatever you can get.
Spec: Production Book ns. Since there's no failset spec, use this to reduce loss rate.
Alchemy
Weapon: Falx x2 ◇Cooker's Soul. Scythe has a very high drop-rate, and the Obsidian will eventually sell for 1m each. If you don't want to farm it, at least use a 1s with 1 Crysta.
Additional: Grim Reaper ns
Spec: Production Book ns
Cooking
Weapon: Magia Knife or Mercurius. Check stalls for Magia Knife, and try to buy a 1s.
Spec: Unmelting Ice ns
Maxing (prod super-refining the atk/def of gear)
This section is not for maximising EXP gains. it is for maxing gear with the highest possible likelihood of success. To do this, you will always want to use 4 ◇Soul Crystas for -12% loss rate, along with the other best possible success rate gear, Crystas, AI, Consumables, and Relics.
Using these ◇Soul Crystas, a JP alchemist was able to train Smithing from 230->235 by maxing Private Swords without breaking any. Using every source of Loss Rate -x% will give you a zero (or close to zero) percent chance of breaking gear & materials.
Production Book - Loss Rate -2% (-5% if Alchemist)
Production Ticket - Loss Rate -5%
4 Soul Crystas - Loss Rate -12%
Alchemist: Craft Technique IV, Production Workshop (unconfirmed if any)
Maxing sets
I recommend using a trash 2s Body with 2 ◇Soul Crysta, as the only success rate Armors (Lava Mail, Silver Mail, Holy Mail) are basically impossible to obtain 2s.
also consider Fairy Tale World Spoon II 2s. It has Melee to every element+20% (+4% success rate). When slotted with 2 ◇Soul Crystas, you could use this weapon for refining/maxing gear in all 6 prods; although there are better equips in each individual prod. It can easily be mass produced with enough Frederico uncommon.
Smithing
No easy success rate Weapon to obtain 2s.
episode 6 Eisen Bow (+6%) is best Weapon.
Ice Book or Icicle Bow (+4%) can be farmed from mobs.
Otherwise, use a trash 2s Weapon and Armor.
Tailoring
No easy success rate Weapon to obtain 2s.
Fleurselman (6.6%) and River Stone Moss Bow (6.4%) are the best Weapons.
Earth Geiser (4%) can be mass produced with 2 Beelzenom common each.
Air Slicer (4%) can be farmed from mobs.
Otherwise, use a trash 2s Weapon and Armor.
Carpentry
Hunter's Swordbow II (6%) is the best Weapon.
Purgatory Bow** (5%) is incredibly easy to obtain 2s, as Flame Bow has a very high drop rate. But it is xtrade.
Lava Mail (3.6%) is the only Armor, but it is basically impossible to obtain 2s.
Otherwise, use a trash 2s Weapon and Armor.
**You may want to use Flame Bow instead of upping it to Purgatory Bow, in order to keep its Melee to Fire-20%. This will reduce it to a +4% Weapon for Carpentry Success, but will also make it usable as a Failset weapon for Smithing.
Chasing
Uroboros II (4.4%) is the best Weapon (is also a 4.4% Weapon for Alchemy).
Shikigami Yoroshiko (4%) can be mass produced with enough Foxxus common.
Centipede (4%) has easily gatherable mats.
Otherwise, use a trash 2s Weapon and Armor.
Alchemy
No easy success rate weapon to obtain 2s.
Eclaire IV (6%) is the best weapon, and can be mass produced with enough Mezzaluna hard uncommon.
Stavros (5%) can be mass produced with enough Orichalcum and Cordal uncommon.
Soul Fist (4%) can be mass produced with enough Fimbul uncommon.
Inari Hamayumi II (4%) can be mass produced with enough Foxxus common.
Silver Mail and Holy Mail (3%) are the only Armors, although it is likely that Silver Mail will get an up with 3.6%. Both are basically impossible to obtain.
Otherwise, use a trash 2s Weapon and Armor.
Cooking
Trishula II (7%) can be farmed entirely through Mining and Bent Pickaxes.
Rising Ray (+4%) is notoriously easy to farm 2s, but only available during Valentines Event.
Otherwise, use a trash 2s Weapon and Armor.
