To figure out how much target def has, i think this formula is almost accurate. Shellbreak is required
(shell break critical damage x 100)/ normal critical damage = X X/100 = B B x 500= target def
From that formula, it tells me that yarde has def around 325±, 3i has def around 635. The result could be more accurate if used a weapon with 1 atk or 10 atk. In base damage calculation, thers RNG involved based on weapon atk. (( RNG from weapon atk-1)/5 = additional atk
Test 1 (Toy glove 1 atk) get the highest RNG from weapon atk ((1-1)/5) =RNG (0/5) = 0 (no RNG involved)
Test 2 (knuckle 10 atk) get the highest RNG from weapon atk ((10-1)/5) = RNG (9/5)= 1.8 (small amount of RNG involved)
The result from test 1 would be more accurate than test 2

thers a mistake in the previous formula. here is the correct one

Necromancer 395 Vs 100m Hp: 3 min 41 sec. Could probably cut that down by about 10-15 sec if I'm really on top of my game when spamming lol...

lonely monk lv 392 my best so far without consumable/strengthening 10m = 17 sec , dps 600.000 100m = 2min 26 sec, dps 675.685 slower than i expected, because it has 0 def mean lower shellbreak dmg (barely dealt 165k) and hard to find the timing to use finishing blow. X.X will try it again and make video when i reach lv cap XD Wow nice dps x) Ps. Also nice Kamijou photo profile, he fits with monk image x)

I wonder if equips with melee pierce-% could increase the target def thus increasing s.break dmg \( ̄▽ ̄ / I try to search arm add spec but none melee pierce-%. I found in claw section. Cat Paws [Claws] 📷 ATK: 225 Magic R -20%, Heal recovery +5% Normal attack x1.5 chance by attack ATK+8% Magic R -20% ATK +8% Heal Recovery +5% Autoskill Melee Pierce -30% Magic Pierce -30% Limni Knuckles III [Claws] 📷 ATK: 268 DEF: 5 ATK+6%, Critical up, Range cut -5% Melee pierce -10%, Magic R -20% Melee attack chance by attack ATK +6% Critical rate +10 Critical damage +10% Range cut -5% Melee Pierce -10% Magic R -20% Autoskill [Monk] Shell break +10% Lantern Row [Claws] ATK: 260 Melee Pierce -20% Range +1 Melee to Earth +10% Accuracy +10% Critical rate +5% Critical damage +5% Water R -20% Lantern row kinda bad stat. Limni3 n cat paws seems nice limni knuckle looks nice for s.break monk without minus on autoskill% and its autoskill can be spellbursted eventho it deals in physical dmg. And the autoskill dmg is crappy. Animation looks like sniper sniping skill.

Just crossed my mind of some benefit event n cap raised n recently luna for player n specially for asobimo
Benefit event For player : more item supply if t item is special item from event For asobimo : tixx monthly subcription rise for drop rate coz some boss r too strong if use drop set
Benefit cap raised For player : more power n setting up new goal for fully cap lvl n fully cap apos player For asobimo : tixx monthly for rushing lvl up to cap all apos n lvl to t new cap
Benefit for luna training For player : Added fun n dmg test in secure environtment. Luna passiveness
This is t interesting part for asobimo benefit on luna. It can trigger at least 1 or 2 stefly from player in an attempt to fullfil curiosity of how much is my max dmg if i use glass cannon build stat (kinda no vit build). And even trigger lot more stefly for player that hv ultra curiosity for experimenting several no vit stat n equip combination.
Further stefly use also triggered when meet t real boss farm that certain survival minimum requirement must be met in order to comfortly farm hard boss. It trigger player to use stefly back to their original stat with certain survival lvl that met requirement.
However some job wont be afected tou kinda Sin. Usualy already glass cannon build no vit Pally. Passive luna is huge problem for ko skill Suportive n aoe job kinda mins bishop hw servant
It affect dps class that use low vit n medium vit kinda Gladiator Enchanter Monk Bk Samu Sniper Necro Etc
T conclusion is update its a very good thing for both player n asobimo. New feature update is even better for both..

Cuz from my equip setup, i have +15% melee pierce. This is the data i gathered. I got the highest value of s.break dmg and c.ritical damage as i can from the battle with yarde. Would be best to use toy glove for this experiment. I was using vatendeth ai to compensate ira coz using daiginjo back then. So when oni hv new upgrade i replace vatendeth for shelk. I feel that when ira dai vatendeth to ira dai shelk (other factors remain t same). My shell break dmg up bout 8-10% ish. So i conclude that melee pierce% reduce shellbreak dmg coz it reduce mob defence. But for 0def mob maybe kinda luna n nommar i think melee pierce dont hv effect. In my mind melee pierce kinda mob def 100 only felt def 90 with 10%melee pierce

Shell break: 26230 Critical: 14844 (26230 * 100) / 14844 = 176.70439234707 176.70439234707 / 100 = 1.7670439234707 1.7670439234707 - 1 = 0.7670439234707 0.7670439234707 * 500 = 383.52196173535 Your formula needs tweaking. Maybe need to figure out how to integrate weapon atk or something as you say. BTW I think we're kinda off topic here. Maybe make another thread, this one is supposed to be about fight results with Luna.
