Necromancer 340: 10m - 42 seconds Auto Monk 336: 10m 1 minute 10 seconds My main complaint is why monk cant show their awesomeness on this mob 😭 My JP record for monk at 10m is 30 sec (lv370 monk with 4 veleno, I guess I lack autoskill rate?) It's because Luna Doll has no defense, at Yardes I can Reach 50k ish with Shell Break using Ice Crush as base damage, plus 3 Veleno (Around 150k) and Ice Spear (Around 60k) which would be around 260k if all proc, with the Luna just around 25-28k Shell Break, 84 k with Velenos and 35k with Ice Spear, which the DPS count said that my DPS is around 136k.

So it must be coz luna hv no defence so monk dmg bout halved at this mob Shell Break 1 Penetrate even a hard shell. The higher the enemy's defense is, the more damage you deal. Lv 140 Shell Break 1 Monk Lv 240 Shell Break 2 Item - Shield Breaker 2 Lv 320 Shell Break 3 Item - Shield Breaker 3 Ty 4 t info. Now i can stop scratch my head lol jkd

I can say from this battle, monk ability is not fully used at its highest potential. I read somewhere in jpwiki, monk s.break multiplier can be up to 4 times of the critical damage (element/physical power included).

Oic so kinda 0 def 1x (no multiplier) 500 def 2x dmg 1k def 3x dmg 1,5k def 4x dmg So my usual farm spot hv kinda 500 def coz feel bout twice dmg Shell break influence monk other skill. Add dmg n finishing blow n geo. I feel t worst effect of def 0 luna is on finishing blow. Kinda -70% ish than usual finishing blow dmg

Actually pierce multiplier already been calculated in normal/critical damage calculation before shell break. It takes the def reduced by melee pierce on that part to be used in shell break calculation. Sorry if my english is bad :-:
For example Target base def 300 Target def after reduced by pierce 250 Critical damage =10k
Then if shell break happen the formula should be like this Critical damage + 250 target def = B x (1+(250/500)) = s.break c.dmg
This is why melee pierce+% equips are bad for s.break dmg.

I wonder if equips with melee pierce-% could increase the target def thus increasing s.break dmg \( ̄▽ ̄ / I try to search arm add spec but none melee pierce-%. I found in claw section. Cat Paws [Claws] 📷 ATK: 225 Magic R -20%, Heal recovery +5% Normal attack x1.5 chance by attack ATK+8% Magic R -20% ATK +8% Heal Recovery +5% Autoskill Melee Pierce -30% Magic Pierce -30% Limni Knuckles III [Claws] 📷 ATK: 268 DEF: 5 ATK+6%, Critical up, Range cut -5% Melee pierce -10%, Magic R -20% Melee attack chance by attack ATK +6% Critical rate +10 Critical damage +10% Range cut -5% Melee Pierce -10% Magic R -20% Autoskill [Monk] Shell break +10% Lantern Row [Claws] ATK: 260 Melee Pierce -20% Range +1 Melee to Earth +10% Accuracy +10% Critical rate +5% Critical damage +5% Water R -20% Lantern row kinda bad stat. lonely monk lv 392 my best so far without consumable/strengthening 10m = 17 sec , dps 600.000 100m = 2min 26 sec, dps 675.685
slower than i expected, because it has 0 def mean lower shellbreak dmg (barely dealt 165k) and hard to find the timing to use finishing blow. X.X will try it again and make video when i reach lv cap XD
