I'm just getting back in to it because my little brother decided to start playing and wants me to play with him. Part of that is helping him through the MQ, and I can't think of a better class than ninja for that job, but after reading up on the latest builds I can across that the class in general has been nerfed by "splitting the offensive and defensive capabilities of the class in to mastery skills." I don't mean to be dense about it but what exactly does that mean? Are the DoC spam builds even useful anymore? Is it even worth re-specing one of my alts to the class? I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find it.

For survival yes might lower than be4 rebalance coz 9 clone reduced to 3 clone but nw tou coz other job dont hv clone or only hv 1 clonelike skill. Building vit also opened for nin especialy magic nin with strugler irunaonline.boards.net/thread/19234/struggler-owo?page=4Doc pf nin was need 9clone to max doc dmg by switcing gear too much for adding clone to reach 9. Now docpf nin only need 3 clone to reach same dmg or even higher dmg than be4. Delay doc spam requirement is also reduced to -2sec unlike be4 -8sec so more option to rise dmg after -2sec reached. Magic nin also hv t nicest power among all nin type tou kinda need build 100point of charge. I dont hv ninja so i might wrong tou. For helping mq friend. I think all job is ok as long as hv proper equip n stat. Except for josucha mq, your friend is better solo mq at that boss coz lot easier than pt |

Welcome back & for your information, ninja max clones now just 3, not 9. Also without yangton or yinton buff, ninja max clones just 1. You can buy yangton & yinton skill from suigetsu at minaula. Yangton is buff to strengthen magic skill while yinton buff gives instant 3 clones +better eva & makibishi but did not give jutsu buff.
Doc spam is stronger than before. You dont need -9 sec gear to spam doc & doc can do 400k+ damage without pf buff. Moreover, with pf, you can do 1m+ per doc. This build still peferable because easier to oneshot most enemies.
However, main meta ninja now is magic ninja which able dealt 800k damage per jutsu & 3m tenchi.
As for sk & auto atk ninja, they are dead now. Sk still able do 300k+ damage but compared to its glorious days, sk is not really used on meta. Auto atk ninja is outdamaged by most dps class, almost no reason to play auto atk nin when spam doc gives better dps even with claws & agi crt build.
