Wonder why... nobody talks about schwermer?? probaby because the passives on dmail are much higher auto% int+ melee magic resistance. Sherwmer give vit+ tho so thats something... When I was making my set, schwermer and d mail was about even on the resist/defensive side. I went with schwermer solely for the extra hp I got from the vit(about 2k-3k). With the recent upgrade for dmail, the extra resistance more then makes up for the missing hp from the schwermer. So for now d mail is better, but I'm sure schwermer will get an upgrade eventually and make things even again.

is schwermer a dmg negate or just a melee counter?
the autoskill+8% on dragon mail makes it hard to beat, but i've heard of a few schwermer 2s floating around,

Dragon Mail (Strengthened 3) [Armor] 📷 ATK: 16 DEF: 22 ATK+11% MATK+13%, Critical rate +20 Critical damage +12% Melee & Magic R +7% Absolute hit +20% Autoskill +8% ATK +11% MATK +13% Critical rate +20 Critical damage +12% Melee R +7% Magic R +7% Absolute Accuracy +20% Autoskill +8% INT +12 CRT +10 Autoskill Notes: Hidden Performance: Damage Null Chance by defense
Schwermer (Strengthened 2) [Armor] 📷 DEF: 20 Critical damage +16%, Autoskill+5% Melee counter chance by defense VIT+9, Skill delay -1sec Critical damage +16% Autoskill +5% VIT +9 Skill Delay -1.0s Autoskill
Comparing dmail n schwermer
Obvious benefit schwermer : 1. Skill delay -1sec
Obvious benefit dmail : 1. Matk 13% 2. Crt rate +20 3. Abs accuracy 20% 4. Int stat +12 5. Crt stat +10 6. Atk 16 as base stat
Replaceable benefit : 1. Atk 11% beat crt dmg 16% since t crt dmg nerf on rebalance. Yet dmail still hv 12% crt dmg 2. Autoskill 8% beat autoskill 5% 3. Melee magic resist 7% seems better than vit +9 4. Def 22 beat def 20 5. Damage negate autoskill on dmail proc better than schwermer
Summarize. In general dmail beat schwermer most aspect but schwermer still can be used if : 1. Desperately need -1sec skill delay 2. Desperately need crt damage coz skill uniqueness that prefer %crt dmg over %atk

personally, i think all of those are useless, lol. the extra resist on dmail is too useful, cause it helps you avoid being hit over your MaxHP. VIT+9 doesn't do enough to have the same effect.
skill delay is useful, but if you use a sword and have Sauro II/III AI, you should have no delay on poison/smog/grief/killer, a short delay on blizzard/meteor, and a long delay on rain. Ideally, getting a Blue Epaulette additional would solve all the issues with Skill Delay, but that's much harder to 2s. If you don't care about 2s, just get Blue Epaulette 1s and you'll be set.
If you're using a negate+full miasma build, your only flexible choices are the spec, entire relic page (unless you use ailment relics for up to +24% dmg in one ailment), 2 AI, (if you use magonza, SII SIII), sword ability, and the 2 choices for add/body (ensis/epaulette and dmail/shwermer). changing anything else results in less autos/autoskill+%, so it's hard to get the stats you want, especially when you really need to dedicate some of those options for MaxHP (if you plan on farming ep6 bosses) and cast-time.
Although, at the start of each boss fight, you can equip an Eventail◇Flora☆Fluency, use Poison/Meteor, and then swap to Genius during the delay of meteor, and use bleed/rain right after; so cast-time can be mitigated.
example;
Pretty soon, there's a boss relic with skill delay-0.3, and you can always get +70 flat CSPD for free from the green relic squares.

i tested the procrates of dmg negate additionals more runs (+ removing outliers at each end) would be needed to pin-point it exactly. number of procs : number of not procs
ensis shield 14.89% 9:71 8:75 11:75 12:79 8:73 13:77 12:78 12:76 11:83 16:65
luna epaulette 11.9% 11:120 13:128 12:115 15:100 10:114 11:84 15:107 13:124 18:106 15:112
blue epaulette 6.2% 9:133 7:129 5:116 6:114 10:116 8:115
Ensis is probably 14%, Luna is probably 12%. Blue is just.. pathetic. If you ever see someone using Blue Epaulette, call them a loser.

Does damage nullification reduce hp based damage too? Afaik not working for special atk that hit hp directly still need rate cut to pair with damage negate set. Kinda replacement for resistance set but cant replace ratecut set

It just negates damage so you would want as much resistence and rate cut as possible (without sacrificng to much autoskill) to reduce the damage received because u cant negate damage over your hp. sUpEr ReFiNe ToRtUrE and i think u can get rate cut in al since there isnt to many autoskill % but lofty probably know best xD

Does damage nullification auto work on multiple mobs at once? Suppose 5 moss golems at once.

Does damage nullification auto work on multiple mobs at once? Suppose 5 moss golems at once. I think so as long as t damage not exceeding max hp n not special attack that based on hp

I think so as long as t damage not exceeding max hp n not special attack that based on hp you mean damage not exceeding current hp.. Might need test on boss that delete hp n dont hv special atk. Below quoted from lahunt " After this it's just min maxing your auto skill rate and your max hp. If the mob can one shot you, negate does not work. If you don't have enough autoskill then it may not negate. Just as long a one works your safe but if more then one activates it will heal you for the dmg you would've taken (this is what makes this set better then resist). I recommend super refining both your armor and add. The extra defense really helps keep the dmg from getting to high. Also adding in a resist crystal or a vatendeth Al can also help with high dmg just don't overwrite the negate autoskill with say iniliba's autoskill. I have 50k maxhp and a 96.5% chance that one of my gears will negate damage. I can get it to 98.6% with a fortune pill ;which is +10% autoskill. (alchemy level 163) My alchemist is able to solo joshuca in a negate set, if I use ham cutlets (maxhp +35%) and snake talisman (maxhp +20%) to boost my hp. Then spam thick Rev M or L and heal. Spec Rev ale would work too. Joshuca can still kill me if I get hit by too many room effects at the same time so negate doesn't work on room effects. ***Unlike the resist set, not every class can use this set effectively. For example: This set doesn't not stack with pally's parry skill. If parry activates, negate won't. " Read more: irunaonline.boards.net/thread/29618/best-negate-set#ixzz6DKc0YX2u

Yes negate auto doesn't stack with pally's parry skill but theres still 5sec that parry will not proc (activation rate will become 0) after the parry is activated. A lot can happen within that 5sec including these 6 negate auto.
