Hello, I have a vit>dex>int paladin and I was wondering if using a magic sword such as Caliburn is alright (or at least decent) in terms of survivability and damage? If so, I would highly appreciate it if any of you could also suggest me any other magic swords to use as a paladin too.
Please do not recommend me oath build equips nor special swords since there are plenty of old threads about oath and special swords for me to read. I am not asking for high end-game damage advice. I just need some slight variety in weapons for my int paladin because I am sick of looking at my "Genius" sword all the time.
Thank you!

Caliburn is the best magic sword I know for resistance. But Genius is better since it has more resistance, rate cut and an autoskill which can disable DMG by chance. Also it will give you better guardian DPS since you probably have more VIT than INT. Also Myrica further increases your ATK while using a special sword.

I was thinking on that too. Maybe you could try these because they raise attack too:
Gram (Attack 300~) Magic Sword, Dark Element, Spell Burst +10%, ATK +16%, MATK +16%, Autoskill +3%, Magic attack chance.
Cortege (Attack 278~) Magic sword, ATK&MATK + 10% Range + 2 Magic attack chance by attack. In the case of Servants, Neutral magic +20%
Giblekening (Attack 250~) Magic Sword, ASPD +20%, MATK +6%, Magic attack chance by attack, Small ATK up by Lv, Small MATK up by Lv (Up by 40% of level)

Caliburn is an awesome magic sword. There really isnt another magic sword that would offer the same benefits. U get gloria to boost ur light magic dmg against dark mobs. Special sword are a pallys best friend but nothings wrong with a side peice xD

I wish there are more variety of (prettier) gears for int paladins... i started as an int paladin, but ended getting better guardian damage with special swords, there'll be a moment when vit and dex bonus are higher than int bonus atk, i started using a dia espada, because i was poor, i made that sword myself, but afterwards i changed to izuminokami II, really expensive too. I'm still vit dex int build, just another opinion so you can think on trying another swords

Why I said gloria is good for it is because Caliburn is light element so it already gets 20% melee to dark ^_- - Pixie queen of messy answers xD

i think that one is a normal sword I don't have the actual item, but hear me out. I was looking thru the list of Mirror swords and found Mirror Sword SR. I initially thought it was a normal sword, but it turns out it's a special sword. The S stands for special and R stands for resistance. Now if we apply the same logic to this item, Mirror Sword MR should be a magic sword. Of course, if anyone can point out the truth, that would be great.

Why not ask the mirror man himself? irunaonline.boards.net/thread/29816/mirror-mans-visage-selling-equipment

Follow up on my previous posts: Confirmed. M = Magic Weapon and R = Resist Variant. Maxwello Yeah, they are all special weapons. The stuff coming in the next prod cap will all be magic/special weapons. I'll update this post for the explanation but two things you need to be clear with in your mind when covering mirror weapons is the Variant and the Shadow. The variant is any of these: ST - Strength/AG - Agility/LF - Life/MA - Magic/C - Critical/R - Resist/P - Pierce/S - Speed and the Shadow can be any of these: F - Flame/I - Ice/T - Thunder/G - Gaia/L - Light/D - Dark/S - Special Weapon/M - Magic Weapon The weapon will be told first by the shadow, then by the variant. So Mirror Sword FST = Mirror Sword (Flame Shadow) (Strength Variant) I just came back today too! Took a three week break to get work done. I'll probably set up shop again tomorrow.
