Never had this problem before now, no idea what's causing it my only guess is it's because my phone is rooted but I've seen others state it happens to them without root. When I open the app, it starts to download resources, then says to delete unnecessary application such as bots, then opens the browser FAQs page. I don't have any bot apps on my device. I've tried on a secondary profile, that had no apps installed except iruna, and it does the same thing on that one.
Anyone have a suggestion/reason for this? I already contacted customer service but they are as unhelpful as ever (same as when I begged them to transfer my iPhone account over to Android) I've lost hope. I tried deleting all data and reinstalling the app, and I've tried using older versions by changing the app to show it was the new one, but it's unfortunately something being done on the servers end so no luck there. My device is a Galaxy S8+ Snapdragon.

Do you have Xposed module installed? Iruna Online won't run on phones which has Xposed installed.

No i never installed Xposed I'd read about that already so I never bothered with it. It's worked perfectly fine until last weeks update so it's something new going on.

In the last update they updated the app protection. I suggest you look through your list of installed apps and make sure you really don't have anything which could be classified as a hacking app.

Probably no help but I know the multiple profile thing (like separate user) on Android is atleast in the case on one tablet we have, unacceptable to iruna and that won't allow game to be played as u described.

There's definitely no hacking apps on my phone. I don't understand why their customer service can't just tell me what the issue is. I'm not deleting all my apps just to play this game and as far as multi user profiles go it's always worked for me to switch accounts like that but it's really just faster to rename the folder in storage/clear cache so I don't use the other profile now. Simply used it to check if the app would work on there. Also the only way I can unroot is to flash the stock rom which means losing all my data so that's not happening, I'll just have to permantly leave if that's the case.

This is just a wild guess, what you can do is to run Iruna Online on safe mode. To run Iruna on save mode, you need to first create a folder in your home screen which contains Iruna Online. If you dont know how to create folders, Click here. Then reboot into safe mode. Most of the phones has the option to boot into safe mode. "Most of them", not all phones can reboot into safe mode. Then, run Iruna online on safe mode, if that works, that means there is an app in your phone which isn't letting you run Iruna Online.

Hello there! My phone is also rooted and all my three phones are all rooted. I use root just to enhance my game performance and thats it, last time ive experienced the "delete unnecessary app" issue is when i have lucky patcher on my phone. Thats the very last app ive removed since 2016 xD and until now i dont face any problem with iruna. Just a suggestion, can you tell us all root requiring apps on your phone? Sometimes iruna just "thinks" some root apps are hacking apps

Apparently on galaxys, safe mode disables third party apps. Worth a shot tho. I've already been through my rooted apps, the only thing I can't/didn't uninstall is supersu so it has to be that, or a random normal app. Unless they are checking safetynet now.

It works on my phone and tablet, and they're both rooted (modified the system partition), so they're not checking SafetyNet.

Thanks well I'll just go through my apps one day one by one til it works again. Atleast if it's not because of root there's still hope. Customer service can only say "we cannot provide a list of apps that will interfere" lol.

caramel I have a rooted phone that runs iruna without problems. I could see if it still works when I get home (currently inactive). Last time this happened to me is on my non-rooted phone. The problem was messenger's permission to draw over apps. I turned it off and it worked. Time passed by, phone got reset by accident and I reinstalled all apps again. Iruna worked normally without having to turn off messenger's permission to draw over apps. It might be worth trying. If it is supersu tho, try hiding it? There should be root hider apps in the play store, although Idk if they actually work for iruna. If not, maybe turn of root while playing iruna and turn it on when you're not playing.
