Builds Starting Off
Different builds have different ways to use the skills in farming and fighting. The major builds I will be talking about is those choosing AGI or VIT. Though will talk about DEX a little
.
STR and CRT are the two main stats of a gladiator
. A must have.
INT is only useful for elemental swords with elemental auto attacks, mini heal, MP heal. ATK up by INT gear which is not a good use.
Psst don't add any INT.
DEX The damage stat, gives the highest pillar and astute damage. Highest dizzy proc with astute. The skill delay can be easily taken care of with equipment but can give you some slot for not using a skill delay equip but a different one.
Gladiator Types
AGI(Sir Knight of the Wind Blade)
You guys are the masters of the wind. You have the highest tempest damage and the highest evasion.
-You can dodge attacks much of the time with your double evasion
-Ailments less likely to affect your with enemy ailment attacks
-Be careful of your lower HP pool and defense
-Stone skin won’t be lowered if dodged
-You have the highest dps on bosses
-Balanced in survivability and damage
-Esperanza brings evasion to 1
VIT(Backyard Kool Aid Chugger)
Hey dudes! We are the Kool aid chuggers! We really know how to rejuvenate the party
.
-Damage does a lot less than with no VIT at all
-Solid skin is more formidable
-Rate attacks, shell breaks, and elemental attacks can break through your HP pool
-Highest survivability
DEX(Flamin Maniac)
-Hahaha! We are the dex users we like to beat things with our flamin pillar blade!
Highest base ATK, best pillar and astute damage
-Highest damage with normal attacks and cross counter
-Can very easily die compared to the other builds
-Not best at soloing
-Might depend on a party often
-Dex is required for spamming the future new skill Valkyrie blade
Now to the skills and how they are used! Organised by level!
Ongoing obvious information on some skill use
Protection 3- It adds defense to the player (self only) 5min
- Always use this when going into battle it will protect you.
Guard 1- Gives some resistance to attacks(party buff, can give to others outside party) 2min
-Always use this for bosses though farming you might get tired of keeping up with it
-The two minutes is the annoying part of this skill and it never levels any higher
Warcry 3/4- Adds a percentage of HP and ATK (Party buff)
16% for 3 20% for 4
-Use this skill and keep up with it so that your HP doesn’t go down having to recast with it. If you’re recovering HP with sitting or a regeneration skill remember to have this activated to recover the most HP fast as possible.
120- Pretty boring, but not that boring
Astute 1- A special attack skill that inflicts dizzy. Dizzy decreases defense of the monster. Proc chance up by DEX. Damage is 1.5* your critical damage. MP 32. Delay for spam 5 seconds
-This skill is pretty cool! It was added a dizzy ailment which decreases enemy defense. Though the big fat down fall is if you have no skill delay gear the delay for this skill is 5 seconds. So it might end up being very useless and or not beneficial.
DEX- You guys can inflict dizzy pretty good!
Berserk 1- Uses all MP and sacrifices some defense in exchange for full attack speed. The more MP you have the longer the duration. If paralyzed it will be lowered in speed pretty bad. You can’t use any skills nor any items until the skill finishes. Skill delay and item delay will affect it. MP All. (Self Buff)
-This might give you your highest dps to defeat bosses. This skill is good to use for a sacrifice move to kill before they kill you
AGI- If you have high AGI then this skill might be little to no use to you for now.
Hard hit 3- Still your basic special attack skill for now.
This is your level 110 skill.
Upgraded Skills
Warcry to 3
Sword Mastery 1- Passive skill. Ups damage with swords
Double Attack 4- Autoskill attack that deals 1.8* your critical damage
140- Now you can play footsies with your enemy
Cross Counter 1- MP 36. A buff that when an enemy hits you, you reflect your normal critical attack back at it. (Can give to anyone in or outside of your party). 5min
-Now when an enemy hits you that damage is not dealt without an attack back! Useful for killing mobs running after you. Can kill the bosses with spamming solid skin(please don’t use this as a main attack method XD).
-Depending on what enemy you’re fighting, sometimes your counter will do little to no damage. For example the monster Krieger. Very rarely do enemies have this though.
AGI- When not using Esperanza the monsters will miss you making this useless?
-Dodging will sacrifice time over survivability.
-Despite this being a good and cheap skill don’t use it all the time. You can anger aggressive monsters when they hit you making them chase you until your mom tell’s their mother what was going on.(For example your mom tells mama Tarante [no lol]) This also means don’t just hand out this buff to everyone you see! It could overlap their buff and or have monsters chase them down.
Penetrate 1- ATK+5% 2% Damage Recoil. MP 52. 5min
2% recoil means 2% damage dealt comes back to you to hurt
VIT-This skill will not hurt you that much but over time you will get damage. It may seem harsh but it will almost do nothing to harm you because when you use special attack skills or double attack autoskill the recoil doesn’t work. It lasts a long time so you will be slapping yourself for a while. You may need to test if this skill works out for you for boss battles.
AGI-DEX- This skill will hurt you a lot more than vitality based gladiators because your HP pool is lower! Recoil is not based on max HP! For this skill to be effective you may need recoil-% gear to stay alive with it.
Astute 2- A special attack skill that inflicts dizzy. Dizzy decreases defense of the monster. Proc chance up by DEX. Damage is 2* your critical damage. MP 48. Delay for spam 5 seconds.
The damage up can help a little. Something to keep in mind. It lowers defense so your party members can do more damage also!
150- I always wanted to be a statue
Solid Skin 1- When you cast you get a protective layer of hp. It does not protect against damage ailments. Amount of HP given is STR*20. This HP will be shown as a green bar that layers over the HP bar. It will show 0 damage done to your main HP. MP 100. (Self buff).
-The delay for this is so little you can spam it. The major downfall of this skill is the 100 MP required so it can require a lot of MP pots. Cross counter will activate even with this on since it’s based on your critical damage!
VIT- VIT gladiators this skill will always be useful for you and will keep you protected. Beware that even if you can spam this rate attacks and shell breaks will tear it up. Don’t become a slave to casting this unless you are farming. When boss fighting and it’s making you a solid skin slave. Use HP pots like onigiri, especially for MQ. If you can hardly beat a certain boss it’s recommended not to farm it solo for rares. On the other hand if you’re slaving on this skill use it as an opportunity to heal HP.
AGI- AGI gladiators this skill help similar to clones depending on the monster’s accuracy! True it will die out more due to lower defense than VIT but that’s okay!
160- Now to the fun par!-sorry not really, just stare at the sky, think about how spina never grows on trees.
Cross Counter 2- MP 28. A buff that when an enemy hits you, you reflect your normal critical attack back at it. (Can give to anyone in or outside of your party). 7min
-Don’t jump out of your seat excited for this. Cross counter 2 does not increase damage compared to 1. It just gives more time and less MP cost. On the flip side. During long boss battle and farming. You can worry less about this wearing out.
Berserk 2- Uses all MP and sacrifices some defense in exchange for full attack speed. The more MP you have the longer the duration. If paralyzed it will be lowered in speed pretty bad. You can’t use any skills nor any items until the skill finishes. Skill delay and item delay will affect it. New addition, compared to berserk 1 the defense lowering is not as much and when you activate the skin it cancels out your ailments. MP All. (Self Buff)
-New use of the skill, it works better that before as it doesn’t hurt your defense as much and it clears your ailments. Note it does not give a damage increase. If you’re really plagued up with your ailments and you got no flu shots nor Flintstones vitamins left, use this and you’ll be free.
-Remember this skill is still risky.
180- Whoa it’s really that powerful!?
Esperanza 1- On activation you receive a Power Up buff. The buff increases attack by one third and increases resistance greatly. Evasion is lowered to 1.1min. After the skill finishes you get a buff called exhaustion which decreases attack 40%, accuracy 50% ,and resistance; attack interval is lowered greatly. Power up buff will now1min.MP 300. (Self buff)
-This skill is very good! When you see the differences you can feel it! If
you’re thinking it, yes on exhaustion you’re basically done for in fighting. If you don’t want to give up yet, put yourself on defense mode. Spam solid skin, use pots, and if you can run away from the monster more over boss do it and have it chase you as long as possible. Don’t try running away with you as a party tank, don’t get everyone killed. You probably shouldn’t use it with a party yet. The minutes you wait for exhaustion will cost other member's time.
AGI- If you don’t have good defense you should only use this if you know you can live without evasion and the Esperanza resistance buff can keep you alive, otherwise you could die easier, most AGI users at least have a bit of VIT to take care of defense issues. Don’t be discouraged the power of AGI is soon to come.
Note: this is like a sacrifice move for now. Eat or be eaten.
Regenerate 1- When activated It gives a HP regeneration buff with 5% HP in 4 second intervals. If you don’t have a gladiator revita the buff will still activate but your HP is reduced to half.MP 100. (Self Buff)
-I know yes, the fact you have to pay for skills sucks. Other classes suffer from this too. Don’t worry Kool Aid drinkers, this is only the beginning.
Some thrift store ways to use this skill.
-At low HP don’t forget to use this. You will gain more than you lose. At the moment if you don’t have gladiator revita in your area, you can use HP pots.
-This skill is very useful for nullifying recoil and ailment damage. Also for bosses who take your HP to 1 and stun at the same time like Metalbrow.
-Yes restoration is good too but it only heals a bit at 6 second intervals compared to 4 second and faster healing.
-Warning don’t eat the revita. Chewing on the glass will result in it working as a normal revita heal. Use the skill for the recovery effect like a sophisticated chugger. "I just drink it cause is sounds cool man"
AGI- AGI gladiators this skill will be less effective for you, no worries it will nullify that recoil effect.
200- Master of the Flames
Pillar Blade 1- And area of effect attack that can hit up to 3 enemies total. Damage is critical damage*2.5. When the monster is dizzy change for bleeding to inflict. MP 12. (Not a party aoe) Delay 2.5 for spam. Range up depends on your weapon. Damage down a little by the amount the enemies hitting.
-Oh yeah the skill we’ve all been waiting for, Pillar blade! Spin around on a circle with a flaming sword (It’s not a flame, and it doesn’t have an element.)
How to use this skill effectively.
1. You will notice the range is very low. If there is a crowd of enemies that is a way to hit them all. Remember to tap the enemy in the crowd that will hit everything, tapping pillar blade won’t help.
Or if you want running in the middle of 2 or 3 monsters will get you pretty good reach.
2. For enemies that have more than normal HP attract them over to you so that you are delivering the move damage over time. Be careful if these enemies kill you easy.
3. Even though it’s an aoe and you can deal more damage over time hitting multiple. Remember this is not always fast, your damage goes down by the number enemies you attract, so you could end up hitting the monster more times wasting time attracting them.
DEX- You have the highest pillar damage (cheers)
A better use of bleeding damage
You might have checked how trash can your bleeding damage is. It hits 4* your STR on swords so yeah. So what use is it to ever depend on it?
Well heres a way to use bleeding! Bleeding damage is not effected by defense nor resistance. So that said you will know that bosses like Raton, Mezzaluna, Azimov, Zolte, Minenaga, stop listing bosses fox!
These bosses have a massive defense increase which makes your attacks hit 1’s and 10’s and you have to beat up the boss until you get through a certain amount of HP?
Wrong! Bleeding damage will break through these stages easily and save you lots of time, damage, and death!
Astute 3- A special attack skill that inflicts dizzy. Dizzy decreases defense of the monster. Proc chance up by DEX. Damage is 2.5* your critical damage. MP 64. Delay for spam 5 seconds
-Hey look who does the same damage as pillar blade! At this point Astute is more powerful and a little more considerable. If you have very low skill delay it still is very risky and might end up being useless to a degree.
DEX- You have the highest astute damage (yeah…)
Sword Mastery 3- Increased damage with swords
Skill update:
Hard Hit 3- At this point this skill might seem useless. More MP drain, less attack in general. Though surprisingly it still has a bit of light shining (Don’t leave me! Wah!). If you have hide attack pet skill (see pet skill below) then it will actually do more damage on 0 hate hits than pillar blade! Which means death to MP pots but more 1 hit monster fighting opportunity.
220- True knight of the wind
Sword Tempest 1-An area of effect attack. Sword Tempest will attack an enemy on melee distance. It will hit all enemies targeting you and or your party up to 3 monsters. When used on a field/dungeon mob it does 60% your critical damage. Hitting more enemies will add 60% more damage to the damage. 3 Monsters total. When used on boss/rare mob it does *3 your critical damage. If you use it on 3 bosses the damage will not go to *9 rather it will add up like normal 60%. When you use Sword Tempest you activate your tempest gauge. Using Sword Tempest will add 10-25% to you gauge. Using Pillar Blade multiplies your current tempest gauge by 2. Using pillar blade can only add 50% maximum. Your tempest gauge can go up to 150%.Your tempest gauge goes down by 1% by intervals a little lower than a second. On activation you get an attack speed buff. Duration is based on your skill delay. The attack speed increases based on how much Tempest whereas over 100% is highest and will give you the highest attack speed. Melee pierce increases slightly on attack speed buff. When using blood thirst at 150% tempest it goes down to 85% tempest. When sword tempest is used it consumes 1% HP. Doubles your evasion at higher tempest gauge. Blindness does not affect the attack of sword tempest. MP 10. Delay 5 seconds for spam.
This skill is very masterful in fighting bosses. During raids when you can 3 bosses in one, even if the damage doesn’t go *9 for each boss. You are delivering *10.2 critical damage in total to 3 bosses, so take advantage of this! The big downfall to using it is the 5 second delay and the *.6 damage on normal monsters. It’s also good against inaccurate mobs because your evasion doubles.
Simplified Area attack. Max enemies 3. Party AOE. Activates tempest gauge and attack speed buff. Maximum of gauge is 150%. Higher gauge= higher attack speed. Double evasion at higher gauge. *.6 damage to normal enemy *3 on rare enemies and bosses. 10 MP. Delay 5 seconds.
-This skill is very masterful in fighting bosses. During raids when you can 3 bosses in one, even if the damage doesn’t go *9 for each boss. You are delivering *10.2 critical damage in total to 3 bosses, so take advantage of this! The big downfall to using it is the 5 second delay and the *.6 damage on normal monsters. -When blindness is inflicted on you and you don’t feel like waking up, sword tempest attack is not affected by blindness so yeah. Basically “I can beat you in my sleep”
AGI- Agility types here’s where you shine! Your tempest damage will receive a massive boost, only if you pass the test (have 275 AGI no higher). This gives the high damage on bosses and rare monsters congratulations! Not only the damage is good but your evasion doubles! So dodging will be a lot easier and protective. You might have tricky stat points, for now when you get 275 up your STR and CRT.(Normally players get to high level, then they Stefly(stat reset book) for AGI build since it needs lots of stats. Level your apostolia if you haven’t done so yet.
VIT DEX- Do not underestimate the power of the attack speed buff! It has melee pierce up! That said double attacks will do a lot of damage for you in general! Your attack speed buff can give you time to relax and figure out what to do next.
How to raise tempest-
Activate it first by using the skill. Don't pillar to activate tempest gauge. "Come on baby buy mama a new pair of shoes!"
-One hit enemies or death by cross counter can make it hard to raise, if this is the case if you have an amount of 5% tempest or lower use sword tempest again don’t pillar.
-When higher than 5% you may try to pillar it up.
When inflicted with paralysis or blindness you can get more hits on monsters to raise it.
Penetrate 2- ATK+7% 1% Damage Recoil. MP 65. 7min
Celebrate recoil doesn’t do that much damage. The attack is increased so it increases recoil damage but really at this point your autoskill will be decent enough that double attack nullifies that.
Skill update
Berserk 2- Even though sword tempest gives you maximum attack speed, remember berserk 2 clears all ailments. So next time Zimov gives you the thousand year flu or blagats scare you to death you can get rid of that and save time.
240- Wow double attack is actually a real double attack
Double Attack 5- Double Attack 4- Autoskill attack that deals 2* your critical damage
-Another round of applause we can actually, really double attack now!

Power up buff from main quest will not overlap Esperanza it will be separate.1min. MP 330. (Self buff) After the skill finishes you get a buff called exhaustion which decreases attack 40%, accuracy 50%, and resistance; attack interval is lowered greatly. 50sec.
Yes it is true Esperanza 2 has more attack power and resistance than Esperanza 1. It’s not that big but you can really see the difference!
Esperanza compared to 1 the seconds of exhaustion is decreased to 50 seconds which gives us more survival on exhaustion if you want to survive. If you’re using it for mob fighting it lasts less, though no one really uses it for that at level 240.
260- Now you’re a Kool Aid chugging pro
Bloodthirst 1-A buff skill that activates when you have at least 85% tempest. When used 85% tempest is consumed. When used you get the buffs Exhaustion Nullification and Combative. Exhaustion Nullification prevents exhaustion from Esperanza when the Power Up buff finishes. The power up buff and the Exhaustion Nullification buff will end on this condition. When Exhaustion is extinguished you gain HP and MP a little. Combative buff adds -1 second skill delay, reduces MP cost to 1, and by autoskill on all attacks you and your party will gain HP and MP. HP and MP is based on your HP and MP pool. The HP heal can revive the party. Duration of the skill is based on your current HP. At 50% HP you get 1 minute for combative and lower than a minute about for Exhaustion Nullification. At 25% HP you get 2 minutes combative and little over a minute for Exhaustion Nullification. During Exhaustion the skill cannot be activated. Berserk will still use entire MP pool. If the skill is casted while Combative you will get bleeding and dizzy ailment.Heal amount about 20% of HP. MP 50. (Self-Buff)
-This skill will take care of issues with spamming skills! Depending on how you use it Esperanza you can use it all the time! The healings of HP and MP will replenish your HP at times you need it the most and MP are hardly a concern! If your party is dying or dead you can revive them!
VIT- Kool aid chuggers it’s been so long and you finally made it! With bloodthirst you get massive heals that get to 10k and even 20k at max HP around 60k and 100k. With this you hardly die once you get into it. And other classes can get their full HP back able to use more MP heals or get back in the fight faster. With this skill your current HP matters a lot less. Getting max duration is less risky during battles.
AGI DEX- The healing will be a lot less effective on you and the party, but that doesn’t mean it’s useless. At this point AGI and DEX users usually have some okay VIT and AGI users can sacrifice the evasion sometimes. DEX users you can get some really high damage now fighting normal monsters. The skill delay and MP cost should really help! Plus Astute won’t drain like it used to. The bleeding and dizzy ailment may hurt you using this skill depending on max HP and defense.
INT- INT users! You are heal MP now wooo! (Joking) If you accidently have 1,2,3 or even higher like 10- INT on your gladiator, don’t sweat it, if you don’t have money for Stefly hey look I mean the game is never going to stop! Some people don’t have stat advantage from guild link but they still live.
Relax 4- Increases natural HP and MP recovery
-Kool aid chuggers need to chill out once in a while man
Warcry 4- Adds a percentage of HP and ATK by 20%.MP (Party buff)
-Your party might really want that extra ATK. People love to hear you “sing”
Cross Counter 3- MP 28. A buff that when an enemy hits you, you reflect your normal critical attack back at it. (Can give to anyone in or outside of your party). 9min
-Less MP more time. Don’t worry there are lots of skills some classes don’t use or don’t get stat bonus increases from leveling.
280- Now you become a real gladiator! Just kidding!
Job Mastery 1- Stat points increase
-You get some floppy little stat points, 12 stat pounds are divided and put into your essentials.
Regenerate 2- When activated It gives a HP regeneration buff with 6% HP in 4 second intervals. If you don’t have a gladiator revita the buff will still activate but your HP is reduced to half.MP 100. (Self Buff)
-Aww what? You mean it’s only a 1% increase? Ha ha just think of it as your tempest no longer downs your HP.
AGI DEX- At this point you should at least have a decent amount of VIT pursuing the STR=CRT > 275 AGI > VIT. This should help you a bit more.
300- Okay stop smacking yourself it’s not healthy
Penetrate 3- ATK+10% 0% Damage Recoil. MP 52. 9min
-Victory! You can stop beating yourself to death. You can benefit fully from this weird skill you got at level 140.
Astute 4- A special attack skill that inflicts dizzy. Dizzy decreases defense of the monster. Proc chance up by DEX. Damage is 3+* your critical damage. MP 80. Delay for spam 5 seconds
-Oh yeah I'm totally use that 24/7. Don’t worry this upgrade leads to new opportunity! You can now use astute without worrying you’re wasting your time trying to dizzy. Also it’s higher that pillar blade! It’s not an aoe but if you’re trying to attack a singular mob then go on at it. You can use this also to attract three monsters toward you like baums, this way you have 3 dizzy monsters.
Damage is higher than 3* damage.
Skill update
Hard Hit 3- You can trash this now. Maybe it does more damage that tempest when blinded on normal mob? Anyway I wouldn’t bother to test it, trying to fit hard hit anymore you’re wasting your mental energy.
320- Doubleubleuble attack!
Double Attack 6- Autoskill attack that deals 2.3* your critical damage
-It’s more than just a double attack now, you jump on top your enemy, lick their ears, break your friendship with them, and don’t even bother sharing your frosted flakes.
-Double attack has more priority now to singular monster fighting and boss/rare.
End Game Builds
Usually people pursue hybrids if they’re AGI or DEX type. Especially AGI since there’s a limit of 275 for that tempest stuff. But anyway you made it out the academy my brother

-This skill is pretty cool! It was added a dizzy ailment which decreases enemy defense. Though the big fat down fall is if you have no skill delay gear the delay for this skill is 5 seconds. So it might end up being very useless and or not beneficial.
DEX- You guys can inflict dizzy pretty good!
Berserk 1- Uses all MP and sacrifices some defense in exchange for full attack speed. The more MP you have the longer the duration. If paralyzed it will be lowered in speed pretty bad. You can’t use any skills nor any items until the skill finishes. Skill delay and item delay will affect it. MP All. (Self Buff)
-This might give you your highest dps to defeat bosses. This skill is good to use for a sacrifice move to kill before they kill you
AGI- If you have high AGI then this skill might be little to no use to you for now.
Hard hit 3- Still your basic special attack skill for now.
This is your level 110 skill.
Upgraded Skills
Warcry to 3
Sword Mastery 1- Passive skill. Ups damage with swords
Double Attack 4- Autoskill attack that deals 1.8* your critical damage
140- Now you can play footsies with your enemy
Cross Counter 1- MP 36. A buff that when an enemy hits you, you reflect your normal critical attack back at it. (Can give to anyone in or outside of your party). 5min
-Now when an enemy hits you that damage is not dealt without an attack back! Useful for killing mobs running after you. Can kill the bosses with spamming solid skin(please don’t use this as a main attack method XD).
-Depending on what enemy you’re fighting, sometimes your counter will do little to no damage. For example the monster Krieger. Very rarely do enemies have this though.
AGI- When not using Esperanza the monsters will miss you making this useless?
-Dodging will sacrifice time over survivability.
-Despite this being a good and cheap skill don’t use it all the time. You can anger aggressive monsters when they hit you making them chase you until your mom tell’s their mother what was going on.(For example your mom tells mama Tarante [no lol]) This also means don’t just hand out this buff to everyone you see! It could overlap their buff and or have monsters chase them down.
Penetrate 1- ATK+5% 2% Damage Recoil. MP 52. 5min
2% recoil means 2% damage dealt comes back to you to hurt
VIT-This skill will not hurt you that much but over time you will get damage. It may seem harsh but it will almost do nothing to harm you because when you use special attack skills or double attack autoskill the recoil doesn’t work. It lasts a long time so you will be slapping yourself for a while. You may need to test if this skill works out for you for boss battles.
AGI-DEX- This skill will hurt you a lot more than vitality based gladiators because your HP pool is lower! Recoil is not based on max HP! For this skill to be effective you may need recoil-% gear to stay alive with it.
Astute 2- A special attack skill that inflicts dizzy. Dizzy decreases defense of the monster. Proc chance up by DEX. Damage is 2* your critical damage. MP 48. Delay for spam 5 seconds.
The damage up can help a little. Something to keep in mind. It lowers defense so your party members can do more damage also!
150- I always wanted to be a statue
Solid Skin 1- When you cast you get a protective layer of hp. It does not protect against damage ailments. Amount of HP given is STR*20. This HP will be shown as a green bar that layers over the HP bar. It will show 0 damage done to your main HP. MP 100. (Self buff).
-The delay for this is so little you can spam it. The major downfall of this skill is the 100 MP required so it can require a lot of MP pots. Cross counter will activate even with this on since it’s based on your critical damage!
VIT- VIT gladiators this skill will always be useful for you and will keep you protected. Beware that even if you can spam this rate attacks and shell breaks will tear it up. Don’t become a slave to casting this unless you are farming. When boss fighting and it’s making you a solid skin slave. Use HP pots like onigiri, especially for MQ. If you can hardly beat a certain boss it’s recommended not to farm it solo for rares. On the other hand if you’re slaving on this skill use it as an opportunity to heal HP.
AGI- AGI gladiators this skill help similar to clones depending on the monster’s accuracy! True it will die out more due to lower defense than VIT but that’s okay!
160- Now to the fun par!-sorry not really, just stare at the sky, think about how spina never grows on trees.
Cross Counter 2- MP 28. A buff that when an enemy hits you, you reflect your normal critical attack back at it. (Can give to anyone in or outside of your party). 7min
-Don’t jump out of your seat excited for this. Cross counter 2 does not increase damage compared to 1. It just gives more time and less MP cost. On the flip side. During long boss battle and farming. You can worry less about this wearing out.
Berserk 2- Uses all MP and sacrifices some defense in exchange for full attack speed. The more MP you have the longer the duration. If paralyzed it will be lowered in speed pretty bad. You can’t use any skills nor any items until the skill finishes. Skill delay and item delay will affect it. New addition, compared to berserk 1 the defense lowering is not as much and when you activate the skin it cancels out your ailments. MP All. (Self Buff)
-New use of the skill, it works better that before as it doesn’t hurt your defense as much and it clears your ailments. Note it does not give a damage increase. If you’re really plagued up with your ailments and you got no flu shots nor Flintstones vitamins left, use this and you’ll be free.
-Remember this skill is still risky.
180- Whoa it’s really that powerful!?
Esperanza 1- On activation you receive a Power Up buff. The buff increases attack by one third and increases resistance greatly. Evasion is lowered to 1.1min. After the skill finishes you get a buff called exhaustion which decreases attack 40%, accuracy 50% ,and resistance; attack interval is lowered greatly. Power up buff will now1min.MP 300. (Self buff)
-This skill is very good! When you see the differences you can feel it! If
you’re thinking it, yes on exhaustion you’re basically done for in fighting. If you don’t want to give up yet, put yourself on defense mode. Spam solid skin, use pots, and if you can run away from the monster more over boss do it and have it chase you as long as possible. Don’t try running away with you as a party tank, don’t get everyone killed. You probably shouldn’t use it with a party yet. The minutes you wait for exhaustion will cost other member's time.
AGI- If you don’t have good defense you should only use this if you know you can live without evasion and the Esperanza resistance buff can keep you alive, otherwise you could die easier, most AGI users at least have a bit of VIT to take care of defense issues. Don’t be discouraged the power of AGI is soon to come.
Note: this is like a sacrifice move for now. Eat or be eaten.
Regenerate 1- When activated It gives a HP regeneration buff with 5% HP in 4 second intervals. If you don’t have a gladiator revita the buff will still activate but your HP is reduced to half.MP 100. (Self Buff)
-I know yes, the fact you have to pay for skills sucks. Other classes suffer from this too. Don’t worry Kool Aid drinkers, this is only the beginning.
Some thrift store ways to use this skill.
-At low HP don’t forget to use this. You will gain more than you lose. At the moment if you don’t have gladiator revita in your area, you can use HP pots.
-This skill is very useful for nullifying recoil and ailment damage. Also for bosses who take your HP to 1 and stun at the same time like Metalbrow.
-Yes restoration is good too but it only heals a bit at 6 second intervals compared to 4 second and faster healing.
-Warning don’t eat the revita. Chewing on the glass will result in it working as a normal revita heal. Use the skill for the recovery effect like a sophisticated chugger. "I just drink it cause is sounds cool man"
AGI- AGI gladiators this skill will be less effective for you, no worries it will nullify that recoil effect.
200- Master of the Flames
Pillar Blade 1- And area of effect attack that can hit up to 3 enemies total. Damage is critical damage*2.5. When the monster is dizzy change for bleeding to inflict. MP 12. (Not a party aoe) Delay 2.5 for spam. Range up depends on your weapon. Damage down a little by the amount the enemies hitting.
-Oh yeah the skill we’ve all been waiting for, Pillar blade! Spin around on a circle with a flaming sword (It’s not a flame, and it doesn’t have an element.)
How to use this skill effectively.
1. You will notice the range is very low. If there is a crowd of enemies that is a way to hit them all. Remember to tap the enemy in the crowd that will hit everything, tapping pillar blade won’t help.
Or if you want running in the middle of 2 or 3 monsters will get you pretty good reach.
2. For enemies that have more than normal HP attract them over to you so that you are delivering the move damage over time. Be careful if these enemies kill you easy.
3. Even though it’s an aoe and you can deal more damage over time hitting multiple. Remember this is not always fast, your damage goes down by the number enemies you attract, so you could end up hitting the monster more times wasting time attracting them.
DEX- You have the highest pillar damage (cheers)
A better use of bleeding damage
You might have checked how trash can your bleeding damage is. It hits 4* your STR on swords so yeah. So what use is it to ever depend on it?
Well heres a way to use bleeding! Bleeding damage is not effected by defense nor resistance. So that said you will know that bosses like Raton, Mezzaluna, Azimov, Zolte, Minenaga, stop listing bosses fox!
These bosses have a massive defense increase which makes your attacks hit 1’s and 10’s and you have to beat up the boss until you get through a certain amount of HP?
Wrong! Bleeding damage will break through these stages easily and save you lots of time, damage, and death!
Astute 3- A special attack skill that inflicts dizzy. Dizzy decreases defense of the monster. Proc chance up by DEX. Damage is 2.5* your critical damage. MP 64. Delay for spam 5 seconds
-Hey look who does the same damage as pillar blade! At this point Astute is more powerful and a little more considerable. If you have very low skill delay it still is very risky and might end up being useless to a degree.
DEX- You have the highest astute damage (yeah…)
Sword Mastery 3- Increased damage with swords
Skill update:
Hard Hit 3- At this point this skill might seem useless. More MP drain, less attack in general. Though surprisingly it still has a bit of light shining (Don’t leave me! Wah!). If you have hide attack pet skill (see pet skill below) then it will actually do more damage on 0 hate hits than pillar blade! Which means death to MP pots but more 1 hit monster fighting opportunity.
220- True knight of the wind
Sword Tempest 1-An area of effect attack. Sword Tempest will attack an enemy on melee distance. It will hit all enemies targeting you and or your party up to 3 monsters. When used on a field/dungeon mob it does 60% your critical damage. Hitting more enemies will add 60% more damage to the damage. 3 Monsters total. When used on boss/rare mob it does *3 your critical damage. If you use it on 3 bosses the damage will not go to *9 rather it will add up like normal 60%. When you use Sword Tempest you activate your tempest gauge. Using Sword Tempest will add 10-25% to you gauge. Using Pillar Blade multiplies your current tempest gauge by 2. Using pillar blade can only add 50% maximum. Your tempest gauge can go up to 150%.Your tempest gauge goes down by 1% by intervals a little lower than a second. On activation you get an attack speed buff. Duration is based on your skill delay. The attack speed increases based on how much Tempest whereas over 100% is highest and will give you the highest attack speed. Melee pierce increases slightly on attack speed buff. When using blood thirst at 150% tempest it goes down to 85% tempest. When sword tempest is used it consumes 1% HP. Doubles your evasion at higher tempest gauge. Blindness does not affect the attack of sword tempest. MP 10. Delay 5 seconds for spam.

AGI- Agility types here’s where you shine! Your tempest damage will receive a massive boost, only if you pass the test (have 275 AGI no higher). This gives the high damage on bosses and rare monsters congratulations! Not only the damage is good but your evasion doubles! So dodging will be a lot easier and protective. You might have tricky stat points, for now when you get 275 up your STR and CRT.(Normally players get to high level, then they Stefly(stat reset book) for AGI build since it needs lots of stats. Level your apostolia if you haven’t done so yet.
VIT DEX- Do not underestimate the power of the attack speed buff! It has melee pierce up! That said double attacks will do a lot of damage for you in general! Your attack speed buff can give you time to relax and figure out what to do next.
How to raise tempest-
Activate it first by using the skill. Don't pillar to activate tempest gauge. "Come on baby buy mama a new pair of shoes!"
-One hit enemies or death by cross counter can make it hard to raise, if this is the case if you have an amount of 5% tempest or lower use sword tempest again don’t pillar.
-When higher than 5% you may try to pillar it up.
When inflicted with paralysis or blindness you can get more hits on monsters to raise it.
Penetrate 2- ATK+7% 1% Damage Recoil. MP 65. 7min
Celebrate recoil doesn’t do that much damage. The attack is increased so it increases recoil damage but really at this point your autoskill will be decent enough that double attack nullifies that.
Skill update
Berserk 2- Even though sword tempest gives you maximum attack speed, remember berserk 2 clears all ailments. So next time Zimov gives you the thousand year flu or blagats scare you to death you can get rid of that and save time.
240- Wow double attack is actually a real double attack
Double Attack 5- Double Attack 4- Autoskill attack that deals 2* your critical damage
-Another round of applause we can actually, really double attack now!

Yes it is true Esperanza 2 has more attack power and resistance than Esperanza 1. It’s not that big but you can really see the difference!
Esperanza compared to 1 the seconds of exhaustion is decreased to 50 seconds which gives us more survival on exhaustion if you want to survive. If you’re using it for mob fighting it lasts less, though no one really uses it for that at level 240.
260- Now you’re a Kool Aid chugging pro
Bloodthirst 1-A buff skill that activates when you have at least 85% tempest. When used 85% tempest is consumed. When used you get the buffs Exhaustion Nullification and Combative. Exhaustion Nullification prevents exhaustion from Esperanza when the Power Up buff finishes. The power up buff and the Exhaustion Nullification buff will end on this condition. When Exhaustion is extinguished you gain HP and MP a little. Combative buff adds -1 second skill delay, reduces MP cost to 1, and by autoskill on all attacks you and your party will gain HP and MP. HP and MP is based on your HP and MP pool. The HP heal can revive the party. Duration of the skill is based on your current HP. At 50% HP you get 1 minute for combative and lower than a minute about for Exhaustion Nullification. At 25% HP you get 2 minutes combative and little over a minute for Exhaustion Nullification. During Exhaustion the skill cannot be activated. Berserk will still use entire MP pool. If the skill is casted while Combative you will get bleeding and dizzy ailment.Heal amount about 20% of HP. MP 50. (Self-Buff)

-This skill will take care of issues with spamming skills! Depending on how you use it Esperanza you can use it all the time! The healings of HP and MP will replenish your HP at times you need it the most and MP are hardly a concern! If your party is dying or dead you can revive them!
VIT- Kool aid chuggers it’s been so long and you finally made it! With bloodthirst you get massive heals that get to 10k and even 20k at max HP around 60k and 100k. With this you hardly die once you get into it. And other classes can get their full HP back able to use more MP heals or get back in the fight faster. With this skill your current HP matters a lot less. Getting max duration is less risky during battles.
AGI DEX- The healing will be a lot less effective on you and the party, but that doesn’t mean it’s useless. At this point AGI and DEX users usually have some okay VIT and AGI users can sacrifice the evasion sometimes. DEX users you can get some really high damage now fighting normal monsters. The skill delay and MP cost should really help! Plus Astute won’t drain like it used to. The bleeding and dizzy ailment may hurt you using this skill depending on max HP and defense.
INT- INT users! You are heal MP now wooo! (Joking) If you accidently have 1,2,3 or even higher like 10- INT on your gladiator, don’t sweat it, if you don’t have money for Stefly hey look I mean the game is never going to stop! Some people don’t have stat advantage from guild link but they still live.

AGI DEX- At this point you should at least have a decent amount of VIT pursuing the STR=CRT > 275 AGI > VIT. This should help you a bit more.
300- Okay stop smacking yourself it’s not healthy
Penetrate 3- ATK+10% 0% Damage Recoil. MP 52. 9min
-Victory! You can stop beating yourself to death. You can benefit fully from this weird skill you got at level 140.
Astute 4- A special attack skill that inflicts dizzy. Dizzy decreases defense of the monster. Proc chance up by DEX. Damage is 3+* your critical damage. MP 80. Delay for spam 5 seconds
-Oh yeah I'm totally use that 24/7. Don’t worry this upgrade leads to new opportunity! You can now use astute without worrying you’re wasting your time trying to dizzy. Also it’s higher that pillar blade! It’s not an aoe but if you’re trying to attack a singular mob then go on at it. You can use this also to attract three monsters toward you like baums, this way you have 3 dizzy monsters.
Damage is higher than 3* damage.
Skill update
Hard Hit 3- You can trash this now. Maybe it does more damage that tempest when blinded on normal mob? Anyway I wouldn’t bother to test it, trying to fit hard hit anymore you’re wasting your mental energy.
320- Doubleubleuble attack!
Double Attack 6- Autoskill attack that deals 2.3* your critical damage
-It’s more than just a double attack now, you jump on top your enemy, lick their ears, break your friendship with them, and don’t even bother sharing your frosted flakes.
-Double attack has more priority now to singular monster fighting and boss/rare.
End Game Builds
Usually people pursue hybrids if they’re AGI or DEX type. Especially AGI since there’s a limit of 275 for that tempest stuff. But anyway you made it out the academy my brother

Pet Skill Uses
The Good
Vampire Blow 1- A pet skill and a crysta skill. MP 50.An attack based on white damage and 28-38% of damage dealt is returned as HP.
AGI- Agi gladiators this skill may be very useful to you since you have a quite lower HP pool. The high MP cost could hurt you a little if you’re crazy about MP pots
VIT- Vit gladiators this skill likely will do little for you as your HP pool is bigger and percentage HP pots could save you a lot of time in a big battle. It’s not worth sacrificing MP pots nor time for. Pretty sad because this skill is cool!
Large Shield- Reduces 25% of damage taken in exchange for -25% damage. 50 MP. (Self-buff and requires a shield in accessory or additional)
This skill might seem like it’s really useless but not really! If exhausted from esperenza being deleted or running out this skill might save you from dying until the 1 minute of exhaustion is over. It also gives you time to recover, buff up, and run through maps (YOLOOO! <Sorry for this). If it all fails though you could waste your time trying to survive.
Hide Attack- Guarantees a Critical attack on an enemy with 0% hate
Pretty sad that gladiator’s skill are all CRT type moves
Hard hit and normal attack is the only use. Hard hit damage will be a critical attack so this is useful for early time in 1 hitting monsters
High Cycle- Large boost of an attack speed that ignores your speed offset.MP 513. (Can give to anyone in or out of party) 1min
Do not use this skill when doing berserk or tempest. It gives a fixed attack interval with the speed which means over all you will attack slower. Tempest and Berserk already give you maximum attack interval

AGI- Depending on the amount of AGI you have this skill might have little to no use to you. 513 MP is pretty thicc.
VIT- This skill could be very good for you early game! It’s attack speed is useful for boss battles and beating low level enemies for production faster!

Despite this being a wind element attack it does decent damage even with no INT! You can use this for slow bosses like Gadave! If that is you can’t beat him without running.
Dual blow- An attack that does 2 normal attacks in one. 30 MP + MP*0.02. Delay down by refinement
It’s pretty good until pillar blade. Though your autoskill is not completely stable so the amount of damage is weird.
The Ugly
Assault- Pet skill or crysta skill. As a warning this skill likely will do nothing for you. An attack that breaks through a little defense.
Double Attack 1-Pet Skill or crysta skill. This will be different from your double attack in your job’s autoskill! This means that it will consume autoskill sometimes and topple over your normal double attack with 1.2* more damage instead of the job which is way higher! Delete this pet skill or put in pet hotel if you have it on gladiator (cry)
Wonky weird gladiator in bosses? Heres why!
Say you about to get into the boss, you may see your gladiator kicking trees and punching acorns with their windy looking slice thingy. If you see this they’re preparing their tempest for a safer boss fight.
They might go in the boss field with low HP, don’t think their stupid for it though this is because of bloodthirst duration if they think they can risk it during the beginning of the fight. In the beginning of the boss battle they might be very wonky trying to make sure they get maximized thirst duration. That said because of shell breaks and rate attacks it might kill them without rate cut. When they do cast bloodthirst with Esperanza they unlock their full potential and start wacking the crud out of the boss with tempest nonstop. They constantly get healed by thirst and the HP is their healing vs rate cuts, shell breaks, and elemental attacks. During the fight they may end up being super weak and even running, this might be because exhaustion from Esperanza. For bosses with buff erase or delete like Zolte this will cause this to happen.
To wrap it up they might start off fighting slow but it gets faster and more secure
AGI- Don’t deny AGI types, yes their shaky in the beginning but later they just don’t get hit. But be aware they depend on solid skin to remain living and count on it like a clone while fighting.
Pet Skill Uses
The Good
Vampire Blow 1- A pet skill and a crysta skill. MP 50.An attack based on white damage and 28-38% of damage dealt is returned as HP.
AGI- Agi gladiators this skill may be very useful to you since you have a quite lower HP pool. The high MP cost could hurt you a little if you’re crazy about MP pots
VIT- Vit gladiators this skill likely will do little for you as your HP pool is bigger and percentage HP pots could save you a lot of time in a big battle. It’s not worth sacrificing MP pots nor time for. Pretty sad because this skill is cool!
Large Shield- Reduces 25% of damage taken in exchange for -25% damage. 50 MP. (Self-buff and requires a shield in accessory or additional)
This skill might seem like it’s really useless but not really! If exhausted from esperenza being deleted or running out this skill might save you from dying until the 1 minute of exhaustion is over. It also gives you time to recover, buff up, and run through maps (YOLOOO! <Sorry for this). If it all fails though you could waste your time trying to survive.
Hide Attack- Guarantees a Critical attack on an enemy with 0% hate
Pretty sad that gladiator’s skill are all CRT type moves
Hard hit and normal attack is the only use. Hard hit damage will be a critical attack so this is useful for early time in 1 hitting monsters
High Cycle- Large boost of an attack speed that ignores your speed offset.MP 513. (Can give to anyone in or out of party) 1min
Do not use this skill when doing berserk or tempest. It gives a fixed attack interval with the speed which means over all you will attack slower. Tempest and Berserk already give you maximum attack interval

AGI- Depending on the amount of AGI you have this skill might have little to no use to you. 513 MP is pretty thicc.
VIT- This skill could be very good for you early game! It’s attack speed is useful for boss battles and beating low level enemies for production faster!
