I saw different threads and tried stuff and so and i felt like i could give my personal opinion and tips about necro:
At first necro is mean to be BALANCED, it's always average so i feel its wrong to focus in just 1 skill (like javelin users), and this is because only going that way you lose Pain rite benefits or throw buff and those. We will have a lv3 throw buff that will boost even more our matk if using throw.
As for stat, like i said u can use every, tho i suggest to not invest much in str, just enough to proc fear or lethargy to do support roles. Also I'd recommend to full int vit and cap dex once u can spam thunderbolt with a throwing weapon.
About agi and crit just cap them till u have enough aspd and crit chance.
Now here goes tips:
1)actually u can share hate with summons so you can take advantage on that,focusing on do more dmg and don't needing to re summon for hate purposes
2)if in boss area, you can bait boss to ur summon without needing drain or anything by pressing attack button but without hit him/her. This only works till you die or till ur time up or party with another (aka reset boss area)
3) Each Cemetery ending has 2-4 seconds of vulnerability so getting eva/absolute eva or m.eva will help you to stand those 4 seconds till i can cast Cemetery again
4)seems obvious but bosses with high def you can fight them with bone knight +thunderbolt or ice spear (takes time but if enough dmg u can solo perfectly) and against high mdef bosses u can use autoattack, dealing poison dmg bonus and so. This is why necro is really balanced cuz variety of options.
5)highest +mp% weapon atm is not snead claw, its Necro wand with 30% of extra mp
6)try get mp set, autoattack set and matk set at least, and optional hp set for blood wine (cheap, why not?)
7)throws gives u - 0.5sd hidden passive, seems to cast slower and its just the opposite with rods.
8)keep in mind that Skeleton has the half hp of bone knight making he better option for easier bosses, or bosses that attack really fast but with little dmg. Actually skelly has paralyze so with enough mp he can tank good too. Yet is always safer to bone knight cuz its greater tank.
9) always respawn ur summoning when ur enemy is paralyzed and it just hit the summon. This way u make sure the boss won't hit you unless it's freaking fast attacking even with paralyze.
10)abis like range and rate cut doesn't work on summoning but it does work on you. Since you have Cemetery on u won't recieve aoe, but u can get casually hit by a percent damage so rate cut abi would be an option.
11) necromancer are weak if blind. This ailment makes u get closer to boss even to hit with spells making u move out from Cemetery safety. Carry some eye drop or vaccine.
12) back to abi, easy going is getting all fluency, because if throw+int/dex/vit build u can get max cspd with much less stat investment on Dex, meaning that you can invest more stat on Int and vit, unless you want get more dmg but honestly it's not worth at all.
13) moving out of Cemetery if low hp actually kills you. Carry some hp pots or wait drain to heal you a bit. I recommend getting self healing pet skill.
14)you can actually make ur Bone knight tank in pt mode if your pt helps or waits to get ur hate bar red/pink and high. If you summon ur bone knight then, the boss just will hit the bone knight meaning you and your partners always be safe dealing dmg, debuffing or healing, unless they recieve ocassional aoe dmg. It may happen that one of your partner generates more hate, making them the boss target, but if they die or whatever, the boss changes target, it will never be you unless by then u generated more hate than your bone knight.
