I'm aiming for sniper. My dex is at 90 and agi at 30.
Now, ppl are telling me to up my STR... It seems a waste. What do you think? I'm not spending points until I find out, so plz reply.

You have agi, so you are most likely making an auto attack sniper. To me, i would suggest that you max dex after getting max attack speed with bow to get more bonus from thimble (attack up by dex when using a bow). Most auto attacker pick vit for third stat for survivability. I'm not sure if there are eva auto attacker out there. Str also add atk when using a bow. If you wanted more dps, i guess you could try adding a bit vit (50 - 75 pts) for survivability than max str. The eva counter part, i believe, had around 200 agi before adding str.

Go for dex>crt>agi for dps.. max dex then agi around 120 the rest crt.. well if u wanna be an AR spammer go for dex>str.. n Archer glove is better then thimble, it also adds aspd.

I'm not spending points until I find out, so plz reply. --F DEX adds hit rate and +2 ATK for normal bow. It also reduces your skill delay and if you use thimble, you get +1ATK more (you only get 0.9ATK with archer glove so it is inferior to thimble) STR adds +2 ATK for normal bow. Clearly you can see which stat is better of the two. Most would expect snipers to be DEX/STR for arrow rain but since you already have AGI you will be an auto-attack sniper, and the important stat for auto-attack is CRT (for hit rate and damage). But this should be after you max your ASPD (367 for bows) for the best potential DPS. DEX is primarily to up your ATK some more. If you don't max your ASPD, you might see higher damage because you are investing on your ATK stat, but the truth is you have will lower DPS since you attack slowly (you will kill mobs slower). If you don't invest on CRT your ATK will be high but your damage will be low since you only do normal damage (white color) and your double attack will not proc often (which lowers your potential DPS). You will most likely miss on high evasion mobs too (which also lowers your DPS) This is my logic on DPS.

Thanks for all the info. Yes, I auto-attack, and will continue to pump dex and agi, with crt in the future. This forum has helped once again. (The idea of ASPD getting up to 367 makes my head spin a bit.)

(The idea of ASPD getting up to 367 makes my head spin a bit.) Pump your agi first to about 100+ before you do anything. This should land you near max aspd unless you know better. Evasion Is excellent against low lvl mobs so it should help you solo too.

Awesome. This is the sort of info I like. Ppl tell u where your stats need to be, but not the best order of ugrading. As I approach lvl 50, I plan on spending a few bucks for the book that lets you re-assign stats - I wasted 4 on vit and another 4 on str and have half-a-dozon on int. Thanks again! --F

I hate to say this, but $ isn't an issue. I used to pay $55-60 on new xBox games, so dropping $8 on a book, to save me several hours of redoing quests/running all over, is a bargain. Plus I'm a grand-parent (ancient compared to most Irunians) so play-time is more of an issue for me. I luv 'em, but the kids are time-killers!

Oh dear, that was not my intent! Which words are you referring to? The $ or the kids absorbing time?

Alright. I'm thinking it over. I know it will take over an hour - for me. I'm guessing four, maybe three with luck. Then again, I am not experienced like most of the posters here. My in-line friends are of similar level, and I solo 80% of the time.
Actually, if I put my goodies in storage, I'll be a lvl 1, with lvl 47 items... so maybe two or three hours.
If it's "law", so be it. I'll have take on the challenge.
See you on the other side!
