Mdef/Def are very weak, and have little effect on damage recieved. Resistance reduces damage by a%, Def/Mdef subtracts it. Unless you get 20k+Mdef, it won't be nearly as effective as magic Resist. Nicest part of pally Imo is Fortis. Element resistance is incredibly strong, so it makes it less painful to skip on some resist/Hp. But building for Def/Mdef/Hp alone is gonna shoot you in the foot when it comes to actual enemies. Point being, you're not missing out on much by not building for Def/Mdef. You'll take maybe 1k-2k more dmg. Agree on the Mdef/def part. Ppl always give wrong explanation to new players, said that to make a full tank build paladin, need to go VIT-DEX-INT, while VIT-DEX-STR is dps build. /Give impression that STR pally is weak when at magic boss. I will always say that both are great tanker. The difference between these 2 build in term of damage received is just few k at most, at magic boss. What can 1hit kill STR pally will also kill INT pally.

This blog has some videos of the Cottonello time attack competition. ameblo.jp/pdhegaud/entry-12681741206.htmlThe general strategies is to join a PTA, get buffs from your skills, autoskill gears, and other players, then someone can disband the PTA which will send you back to the Cottonello map. with a movement speed set, run to the boss instance entrance and click on it. (while the dialogue box for entering the instance is open, buff timers are paused). use movement speed set to reach the boss quicker, then switch to dps set and kill boss with some ridiculous combination of hide attack shellbreak big damage attack. Most strategies involve killing the boss in 1 or 2 hits, while only having a shellbreak rate of 5% from Yellow Candy Bag.
Other JP updates this month August 4: part 1 of skill adjustments is added to the actual game. at the same time, part 2 of skill rebalances may be announced on their blog. This gives you a predetermined skill rotation to get the correct [Element] Activity buff. Enchant Weapon proc -> Origin -> Atriboost -> start dual blowing
Substantial Change to Bishop
For Bias Surge, the amount of magic damage and HP recovery amount are increased according to how high your Punish gauge is.
Beast Knight
Adjusted Skill: Fear Howl / フィアーハウト (Activatable Skill) Added "ATK/MATK increase when fighting feared enemies" to the buff name "Vitalized" that is given to yourself and all party members when Fear Howl is cast. 継続効果「激励」に、恐怖状態の敵にATK・MATK上昇効果を追加
New Skill: Brute Struggle / ブルートストラグル (Passive Skill) Beast gauge increased to 150%. Generates Beast whenever you are targeted by enemy attacks (including if you evade the attack) When using a skill that consumes Beast, you gain the continuous effect "Struggle" / 獣性. Struggle increases attack power, ignores ailments that attempt to apply on you by enemy attacks, enables Impact Blow to inflict Dizzy, possibly enables Tyrant Edge to give you 1 clone without requiring the enemy to be feared, and maybe some more benefits. random confirmations from @migh46925546 on twitter Mushroom Spada II: ATK up by VIT formula is [ATK up by VIT x 1.15] Hexagonal Realm: Melee Pierce formula is [Melee Pierce up by Dex x 0.03 + 5%] Dragonchild's Gift(up): Water Enhancer formula is Melee to Water+8%, Water Magic+8%, WaterR+8% Ice Edge Fist and Flame Edge Fist (from Barafu & Lipka boss) have the standard Melee to Element+20% to their respective element Cut Hat: formulas are ATK up by CRT x 1, Critical Damage up by 1% for every 20 CRT Ensis Shield(up2) autoskill has the same basic proc rate as (up1), and the damage dealt is the same. In my own testing, the autoskill basic proc rate appeared to be 14%~15%. The list of Skill Quests should be completed, it's still lacking a lot of information: Who (NPCs Name)? What (SQ or Item. Description) Where (Location/Map)?
Also some links for Episode 6 are wrong. I.e. in details about "Ark in the Sky" tapping on the link for "See Map" it's linked wrongly to "http://www.iruna-online.info/zones/ep_1#zone_461", correct it would be "http://www.iruna-online.info/zones/ep_6#zone_461".
